Victoria Beckham launches a makeup collection with Estée Lauder
The fashion designer makes her mark in the beauty world
Former Spice Girl, model, mother, fashion designer and mogul… Victoria Beckham can now add another title to her list, after designing a capsule collection of makeup and beauty products for Estée Lauder.
In an interview with Vogue, Victoria shares how her obsession with beauty started as a little girl. She also admits that being aided by “the best makeup artists and stylists since I was eighteen years old” means she picked up a few tricks along the way.
The result of her beauty know-how and passion: a 14-piece makeup collection inspired by London, Los Angeles, New York and Paris, which has been designed to be practical and easy for the everyday woman
The makeup products in Victoria’s Estée Lauder collection include two lipsticks, a gel-cream liner, a six-shade eyeshadow palette and individual metal finish eyeshadows that can be applied wet or dry. Plus a matte bronzer and an illuminating primer that doubles as a tightening moisturiser, because as Victoria herself says, “who doesn’t love that?”.
Showing her products in action, Victoria created a video with Vogue of herself applying a ‘London look’, with a “smoky, dark, quite sexy” look on the eyes, paired with a nude lip.
The collection will be available in the UK on September 13 and in Australia on October 1, and we can’t wait. For now though, you can check out how good Victoria is at applying her own makeup:
