The entire world seems to be on a mission to achieve perfect brows in recent years, and there’s no sign of the obsession slowing down anytime soon. From pencils to powders, serums to pomades, beauty lovers the world over have tried product after product to ensure their brows are styled and arched to perfection.
While there is no doubt that these products have saved our straggly brows a hundred times over, sometimes we need a little extra help to perk up our arches.
That’s why we were so excited (and surprised) to see makeup artist Shelby Triglia using a household item to perfect her brows.
The product in question? Soap.
Yep, this genius hack takes brow styling right back to basics. According to Triglia and many other beauty bloggers and vloggers alike, regular bar soap is the answer to ensuring fuller, thicker looking, feathery brows.
To perfect the soap brow look, take a clean spoolie and swish it through the soap until the bristles are coated. Next, brush the wand through your brows in small strokes to set your hairs in place. Then all you need to do is fill in any sparse areas with your favourite brow product until the desired fullness is reached. It’s that easy!
The hack was even given the seal of approval from brow genius Anastasia Soare (from Anastasia Beverly Hills) who shared the video with her 11 million Instagram followers recently. If Anastasia’s on board, then so are we!
