The covetable eye makeup from the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Say goodbye to subtlety, and hello to drama

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is one of the most anticipated events of the year, and the signature Victoria’s Secret beauty look has become nothing short of iconic. The glossy waves, bronzed cheekbones, subtle liner and glossed lips are always favourites for the show. This year however, the Angel’s threw a spanner in the works by mixing up their pretty makeup for a more dramatic look.
The new look was a striking cat eye, which when you think about it, makes perfect sense. Makeup artist Tom Pecheux told Teen Vogue, “I wanted the girls to have wings! Victoria’s Secret is bringing angel wings for the girls so I wanted to do my own version.”
He also revealed how he created the look: “I do a grey liquid liner, and on top of it I’m putting a bronze that I smudge a little bit.”
The grey choice in eyeliner shade was an interesting twist, and one we’re keen to replicate. That and the girls’ always-luminous skin (hint: the Angels dished on their can’t-live-without products here).
