A hair perfume is probably something you’ve never really thought you needed. And truth is – until recently – they weren’t exactly at the top of our wish list either. But it turns out they’re actually a pretty sweet deal and we’re kind of kicking ourselves for not using them sooner.

Hair mists are no longer just about making your hair smell good. They have become great little lightweight multitaskers that are perfect for when you can’t be bothered washing your hair (read: all of the time), or when you just need to add a little extra oomph to your hair game (also, 100 per cent of the time). Unlike your usual perfume, they’re designed to be used on hair. They don’t have a high alcohol content, meaning they won’t dry and damage your locks.

They can be used to freshen up smelly, sweaty hair after that gruelling morning HIIT class, moisturise dry thirsty strands, control crazy static hair and add a kick of shine that actually lasts. They’re also a cheaper alternative to your fave fragrances, which often come with a hefty price tag.
