6 sunny fragrances that’ll brighten up your winter
They’ll remind you of warmer weather
A scroll through Instagram during this time of the year can be heart-wrenching; it seems like everyone is away, sunning it up in a tropical or Mediterraean beach location. For those that can’t make it overseas, there is a method to easing the pain - with a fragrance that carries a sunny character.
“Sunshine, or ‘solar’ [themed fragrances are] an emerging trend,” says Erica Moore, Fragrance Evaluator of Fragrances of the World. “Typically, perfumers use a combination of citrus notes, summery florals such as orange blossom or tiare, and warm ambery and skin-like musks to create this style of fragrance. The effect is a light, diffusive interpretation of more traditional floral oriental or soft oriental fragrances.”
Sound good? Here are six sunny fragrances that are new *and* definitely worth trying.
