Selena Gomez shared her self-care routine and we're definitely trying it tonight

There's no denying that wherever or whoever you are in the world right, this is a tough time for all.

And while it may seem like celebrities are immune to the coronavirus crisis, it's important to remember that they too have bad days where they need to turn to tried-and-true rituals to relax and recoup.

Selena Gomez, for example, is all about self-care right now. Taking to Instagram to reveal her personal strategies for coping with COVID-19, she shared some of the outlets, habits, and yes, even skin care products helping her out.

"I think right now it is more important than ever to talk about mental health, which is a subject that is very personal to me," she told followers. "So, I'm asking you guys to take a break with me and I'm going to show you some of the things that help me stay positive during this time, [to] see if any of it resonates with you."

Aside from embracing creative endeavours (when you feel up for it, that is - Selena has set up a makeshift music studio in her home), she's all about establishing what she refers to as an 'unwinding process' to get your mind, body and skin ready for bed, an idea we're 1,000 per cent on board with.

"I usually take a walk at night because I can get rid of the day a bit, then I come home, take a shower and wash my face. Then when I get into bed, my friends laugh at me, but I have a heating pad," she shares. "It's almost like an anxiety blanket, it feels really nice."

As for the beauty products she keeps close by before bed? There's two major players. "I have these beautiful little face sprays: [my] rosewater, and a candle to help me as well, then I turn off all my electronics, and just relax," she says.

While she didn't reveal her wick of choice (she's mentioned this peach and persimmon candle as one of her favourites), we did get a glimpse at her signature spray (and at just $12, it's a total steal). It's safe to say we'll be snapping that guy up ASAP.
