Her makeup artist shares his tricks to nailing the radiant
The summer months are synonymous with long days at the beach, champagne sundowners and, of course, bronzed and radiant skin. While the former two activities are easily achievable, nailing the perfect glowing makeup look can be a little more complicated.
So, it’s fair to say we were a tad excited when celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta shared the exact products needed to recreate the minimalist makeup Chrissy Teigen wore at the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards in Los Angeles.
Chrissy’s enviable glow was achieved by prepping her skin with the La Mer Renewal Oil, but we’d also recommend trying Estée Lauder Resilience Lift Restorative Radiance Oil, endota spa Multi Vitamin Treatment Oil or L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Extraordinary Oil.
To fill in her brows, Ta applied Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Soft Brown for a natural and feathery effect before adding a subtle wash of colour to her eyelids using the Master Palette by Mario. While he didn’t reveal the exact shades he used, upon closer inspection, there’s a good chance Ta blended a combination of Kim (shimmery golden brown) and Paris (metallic copper). He also used some Gucci bronzer to add natural warmth and radiance to her eyes.
Ta completed the eye look by gliding cream eyeliner onto Chrissy’s lower waterlines (Ta revealed he used a ColourPop cream liner) to brighten the eyes before applying a set of Lily Ghalichi Goddess false lashes.
To add some colour and warmth to Chrissy’s complexion, Ta dusted a Chanel bronzer and Giorgio Armani blush to the forehead, cheekbones and apples of the cheeks. For the lips Ta used the liquid lipstick of the moment, Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit in the shade Dolce K, and added Dolce & Gabbana Nude Gloss on top to give the matte lip colour a shiny finish.
