This is a bomb. Classic and unisex. Vanilla does predominate, it is that natural vanilla, not candy or chemical tone in it. Lasts very long time, I forget that I had it on. On my scarf I can smell it days later. Sensual. Projects as well, there is a veil of delight and sensuality enveloping me everywhere I go and leaves a trail too. Classic must have for vanilla and tonka fragrance lovers that want something more. This is my ultimate fave perfume. This fragrance is like a sexy dream. A touch of a women and a man in one bottle absolutely Devine sweet and sexy fragrance. The scent of tobacco and vanilla seems a little unusual, compared to something like floral or oriental scents, but is it the most beautiful, mouth watering and unique perfume I've ever used, and it is now fast becoming my staple scent, fast over taking my long loved Victor & Rolf flowerbomb, which really surprised me. When I first smelled the tester, I was a goner. It was woody, spicy and yet still so sweetly vanilla. Every time I use it, someone comments on it, and it's all I can do not to spend all day sniffing my own wrists and drooling like an idiot. I've used it every day for four weeks now and the bottle is still so full as I need so little of it, so it's definitely worth the expensive price, the bottle itself is a work of art, and I love seeing it sitting pretty on my bathroom vanity or in my handbag. Perfume is a true beauty category of its own, and the most powerful beauty product you will ever own, as scent is powerful. It isn't a last step, it's the step that will complete and elevate your entire look, and Tom Ford is one of the best I've ever used. Get yourself this or any perfume you can, and make it the most important and powerful step of your beauty routine, and never look back.

If you like a floral,pretty,girly scent...you won't want this in your arsenal,BUT if a more sultry,darker kind of scent is more your style (that is perfect for a cold winters day / night)...this was made for you.It takes a little getting used to,with it's smokey,spicy,masculine scent ( the tobacco scent is a key one in this,but it is softened by the hints of vanilla),but when you do....you will be hooked (and so will those around you).Tom Ford always does amazing fragrances....and this is no exception,but at almost $300,it is a considered purchase (why i took off 1 star),but as a plus,as it is a masculine scent,you AND your man can both wear it (so a subtle dropped hint for a birthday etc can be enforced with a "hey,we can both wear it,so it works out cheaper than buying two" argument.PLUS,it lasts for positively hours).TIP:Finding that earthy,"manly" feel a bit too,well,"manly" for you ? Try a vanilla based shower gel and body cream to use before applying this so that the soft,warm scent of that evens out the masculinity of this scent.
