Rimmel London BB Cream Matte

This cream is so light and just the right balance of oily vs hydration. It is so easy to blend and gives light coverage. You can build it up to medium coverage with another coat or a concealer on top, if planning to wear full face make-up but for day to day wear this one gives just that perfect touch of 'my skin but better'. It also does a great job at evening out skin tone quite a bit, not really concealing the blemishes but does make them appear lighter. My kind is combination skin and the T-zone tends to get oily so I would usually touch it up in 3-4 hours or use setting powder on those areas, but otherwise the coverage would last good 6-7 hours. The only thing I would like to improve about this product is the SPF factor - 15 is really close to nothing. You still need to wear a better sunscreen under it.

This is a lovely everyday BB cream that applies without caking or making my skin look dry. It is very light to the touch and is creamy on my fingers. It provides medium coverage and is perfect when you don't want to wear a heavier foundation. It also allows my skin to breathe when I wear it because it doesn't clog my pores or irritate my skin. This BB cream removes easily with a mild cleanser or micellar water or a makeup remover wipe.  It does give a matte finish to my skin and makes my face look fresh and natural without looking heavy or cakey. Pros: Very gentle on the skin SPF 15 Low priced Smooth finish to the skin  Cons:  Does not provide full coverage like a foundation does, but that's okay Recommendation:  I would recommend this lightweight BB cream for anyone who wants a daily use BB cream to hide shine and keep the skin looking fresh. 

The Rimmel London BB Cream Matte is a pretty good quality BB cream that is also very affordable too. The product comes in a small (30ml), thin squeezable tube that looks quite small but the formula is relatively pigmented so I find a tube does still last a while. I have combination to slightly oily skin, with visible pores on my cheeks and nose. I do tend to get occasional breakouts and usually wear a matte, long-wearing foundation with medium to full coverage. The Rimmel BB Cream is a quick and easy to use product that definitely gives you more coverage than a tinted moisturiser and many of the other BB Creams I've tried. My skin tone is light medium, but I use the Medium shade which blends well with my natural skin tone and also gives me a more bit of natural glow. I dab this BB Cream on with my BeautyBlender and I find I get natural, even coverage that doesn't look heavy or pasty, but of course you can even use a foundation brush or fingertips, and it always applies evenly. The product contains SPF 15, plant extracts, as well as salicylic and lactic acids to help treat and minimise breakouts, but I don't find it does mush to treat my breakouts. The texture and finish is still quite satin and dewy for me and I don't find it's very matte during the Summer months, so I do tend to get a shiny t-zone and the product can start to smudge off my face by the end of the day. It does minimise the look of my pores to some extent, but I do still need to set this BB Cream with a oil-control powder, otherwise I look extra shiny after a couple of hours. I would say the coverage is medium, and it does a good job concealing and minimising the look of imperceptions and dark spots, almost like a foundation, but has more of a moisturising texture and finish. This BB Cream is definitely one of those must-have items for your makeup bag, as it's so quick and easy to use on the days you don't want a "full on" makeup look and want a more sheer, natural complexion. I would recommend this BB Cream to anyone with combination skin, who wants a fuss-free all-in-one moisturiser, SPF and light foundation, that does help minimise the look of pores and imperfections pretty well. I haven't found this product provides me with adequate oil and shine control, so I wouldn't recommend it anyone with very oily skin. I think it's a handy product that is very affordable too, so it's worth a try. One major disadvantage is that there are only three shades available, so it can be tricky finding the right shade to blend in with your skin tone. 

I used this product twice and didn't like it at all.  I have very pale skin and selected the lightest shade. I blended it for ages and it still came out looking patchy. It could just be that I'm so white; but wouldn't use this even for day to day use as it wasn't as high coverage as i liked.

Nice for daytime or for someone that likes a medium coverage.Very good colours I use the light & it perfectly blends to my skin it's really natural looking.My 60 year old mum has just started using it she loves it & loves the price.Smells nice & I haven't had any breakouts using it.I personally need to use powder over the top or I get a bit shiney through the day.I like it & will defiantly keep buying it when I run out.

I have tried a lot of different foundations and BB/CC creams and this one is fabulous. It gives good light weight coverage without the heavy feeling. I have combination/oily skin and find this BB cream very light and not oily at all. It has a lovely matte appearance without looking too dry and caked on. I only required one layer for application for nice, even coverage. It is a very light coverage but I found it really brightens my complexion. It also helped to conceal my blemishes and red spots. This is a lovely BB cream and would recommend it for those looking to control shine and who are after a nice and light, natural coverage.

Love this BB cream! Perfects my acne prone and oily skin with one quick and easy coat and applies well with either a beauty blender or the good old fashion fingers! Wouldn't go anywhere without it as it's the perfect light coverage for when you just can't be bothered with a full face of makeup! Quick and easy and perfect for a simple and natural look with a quick coat of mascara and out the door you go! Highly recommend! :)

This BB cream has absolutely become my go to. It is perfect for getting the 'no make-up' make-up look as it blends into your skin seamlessly and leaves a smooth matte finish. This BB cream offers more coverage than others I have tried, which I love, and can be built up for fuller coverage. I personally like to apply it with a beauty blender which makes for easy, even and smooth application. However, the product can start to dry quickly and become slightly harder to blend, but with a damp beauty blender this problem is easily fixed. In no way is this product drying on my skin but my T zone does stay oil free whist I am wearing this BB cream. It stays in place all day and doesn't smudge, crease or 'cake' in areas of the face like I have found with other BB creams I have tried. It is especially lightweight and breathable and when wearing this product it feels as though you are wearing nothing. It claims to be a 9 in 1 skin perfecter which I believe is true! As said on the packaging it claims to even skin tone, mattify, control shine, smooth, and conceal the appearance of dark circles and gives all day coverage, these are not lies! It does also claim to minimise the appearance of pores however I do not have large pores and can't say whether it does or not. I will definitely be repurchasing this BB cream!
