Hydro Boost Mask
Easy to open sachet, I like how the mask comes in two seperate sections one for the top half of the face that covers the forehead, nose and tops of cheeks and the seconds half that covers the top of the lip down to the chin and jaw. I found this really easy to apply to my face without and bubbles.
The hydrogel sheet mask material comes really well soaked in the masks serum, I left it on my skin for the 30 minutes as recommended and after removing it felt super hydrated and had a dewy hydrated glow. I massaged the remaining serum not absorbed into my skin.
I also love to use this mask before I have a event as it helps my makeup application effortless and keeps it hydrated and last.
Super hydration
One of the reasons I love this mask of because it comes split in 2 so it's easier to apply and it also fits my face a whole lot better. You can leave this mask on for up to 30 mins. I left mine on for 20 minutes because I was time poor on the night I used it but it worked tremendously. The mask did not cause any irritation as I have sensitive skin and also has a nice cucumber scent to it. The next morning my skin felt super hydrated and plump. I would highly recommend this mask to anyone with dry skin.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrogel Mask
My skin has felt dry and dehydrated lately and was looking for a much needed boost of moisture and hydration. I saw this at the chemist and thought to give it a go.
I like how the packet for the sheet mask is generous in size and Cleary explains the instructions which are so easy to follow; just peel open the sachet, take out the first halve of the sheet mask which his from forehead to cheeks peel of the film then press and smooth onto face then take out the second half, lips to jaw again peel off the film and apply to face pressing and smoothing. Leave on for 20-30 minutes.
After removing from my skin I massaged in the remaining serum from the mask, my skin felt so nice soft and hydrated and looked refreshed when I woke up the next morning.
Hydrating and softening
Neutrogena HYDRO BOOST Mask is a hydrating sheet mask made from a special one hundred percent hydrogel material designed to stretch and closely hug the facial contours.
The material is quite thick and it does stretch nicely to cover the contours of my face, staying nicely in place during the 15-20 minutes I wear these masks. The mask is coated in serum which absorbs nicely into my skin leaving it feeling well hydrated and looking radiant and glowing. I massage the left over serum into my skin concentrating on my neck where the mask doesn’t reach. If I use these masks at night I usually apply a moisturiser over the top to lock in the serum overnight.
The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Masks are packaged in a box of five which make them good value for money. I haven’t experienced any tingling while using the masks, nor any redness or irritation afterwards.
I have no hesitation in recommending these masks to anyone who wants to boost the hydration to their skin while being left with glowing, smooth skin.
An easy pick me up hydration boost before a night out or event. The mask is easy to apply and the size fits my face quite well. The serum in the sacket is generous and think. It is pretty average in terms of effectiveness but for its price tag I won’t be complaining.
Never usually write reviews, but this mask was so impressive! Both my mum & I use it & love it! It helps with dehydration, anti-ageing & reducing my hormonal acne. My favourite thing by far is the affordability. There's so much product I usually use the excess on my neck & chest!
My skin is extremely dehydrated as it shows signs of dryness, so I bought this product to see if it works and found that it works wonders on my skin! It really helps to boost hydration to its highest and ensure that my skin looks and feels healthy, inside and out.
I have extremely dry skin during winter so the Neutrogena hydro boost mask is perfect for me. The sheet mask comes with lots of serum which feels so cooling when place on my face and I usually leave it on for 20 minutes then pat the remaining serum onto my skin until fully absorbs. My skin feels so hydrated after use and given that this sheet mask is very affordable, I use it twice a week during winter.
I am very happy with this product, is light texture so is easily absorbed. I open the pack and use the liquid right after shower. Once the liquid is absorbed then I open the pack and put it on my skin. I recommend at least half an hour for best result.
Since discovering the Neutrogena Hydroboost range, my skin has been transformed. This mask has a cooling gel feel when applied and leaves the skin feeling soft, supple and regenerated. The gel has a thick consistency however it is perfect for women with combination skin as it moisturises and hydrates the skin without it feeling greasy afterwards. I would definitely recommend this mask for all skin types!
This is a really hydrating mask that at just $6.00 is excellent value for money. The mask comes in two pieces and is quite easy to use. The gel is generous and absorbs straight into skin. I must admit it is a little messy but for the price it’s a small downside. I left it on for 30 minutes and it is easy to rinse off. After use my skin feels super soft and hydrated, it looks fresher and more radiant and fine lines are less noticeable. Overall a great product, great value and great results that I would recommend to others
I don’t often indulge myself with face masks, however as my skin tends to get extra dry and dehydrated at this time of the year I was keen to try this gel mask by Neutrogena. This is slightly different to the paper or sheet masks I have used, in that it has a gel texture. The product comes in a single use packet and is drenched in the hydrating serum. This is obviously great value for money and a bonus if your skin is extra dehydrated like mine. However one disadvantage is that it is difficult to apply as the mask is quite slippery and it can drip too. The product contains two pieces which you need to apply separately to your face; one half for the forehead and upper cheeks and the other half for your lower cheeks and jaw area. This can make it a bit confusing to apply and as it does to tend to slip off, I found it easier to apply both pieces lying down. The mask has a refreshing and uplifting scent which didn’t irritate my skin. I left the mask on for 25 minutes as I really wanted the serum to get absorbed into my skin. After I removed it, I gently massaged in the remaining serum to my face and neck area. My skin did feel a lot more hydrated and healthy after using this product. Even after several hours and the next day, my skin felt smooth and hydrated!
I think this is an indulgent way to treat dry and dehydrated skin at home, plus it’s quite affordable too. Overall I was pleased with how hydrating this mask was, and it’s a nice “spa like” treatment that isn’t too expensive. I will repurchase a few of these masks to give my skin a much needed hydro boost during the winter months.
Loved the mask but had a difficult time trying to put it on and wouldn’t stay on my face. Next time I use this particular mask I will get someone else to put it on me. But on the plus side it left my face feeling super hydrated and soft. Would recommend mask to family and friends.
The mask was hard to apply as it was very thick in serum, but The mask was made from a very nice material which I really liked it felt good quality. After the mask my skin felt soft and hydrated but the feeling didn’t last long. Maybe weekly use would show different results.
Neutrogena Hydro boost hydrogel mask is super hydrating . It comes split into two, making it easier to mould to your face. I love this for winter as I have noticed a few dry patches around my nose and on my forehead and this mask really does hydrate your skin during the night. It has a lovely scent of cucumber that isn’t overpowering.
For best results, apply to your face and leave on for 15-30 minutes after cleansing and before applying your serum to give your skin an extra boost of hydration.
I have combination skin but this mask didn’t cause any irritation which is always a bonus.
I was very happy with the way my face felt after using this mask and I would definitely purchase again.
I've been a fan of the Neutrogena Hydroboost range ever since I tried one of their gel lotions, and I can honestly say that I feel similarly about their new Hydroboost Mask! This comes as a hydrogel mask that you need to place on the skin as two separate pieces. Getting it out of the pack was a bit of a challenge for me, which was a little surprising, as these things usually don't confuse me!
I loved that this fit on the skin nicely, and that didn't move once, though! After I placed it on the skin for 30 minutes, I then whipped it off, and my skin felt revitalised and smooth! There wasn't any residue left on my skin after I removed the mask. Totally awesome!
Wow what a beautiful mask! The initial application was abit odd, a lot of serum was there & putting it on made me feel a little claustrophobic but once I had put it on and into place it was fine. I left it on for 30 mins and could feel it slowly drying. Once I removed it I rubbed the remaining serum into my skin. I then followed with my regular serum and moisturiser. I could feel the difference in texture in my skin particularly around my cheeks. The were so soft and supple I couldn’t stop touching them! Fast forward a week and I can still feel a slight softness in my skin. I’ll definitely be purchasing this mask in the future. Especially when it’s at such an affordable price!
I found this fun to use, however it did not give lasting results. My skin tone and texture had slightly improved immediately after use but my skin returned to its dry state the next day. It may be nice for a treat or novelty, but do not expect dramatic hydration.
Although I enjoy their other products in this range I didn't feel like this mask did anything long term. Sure, it felt great and full of serum-y goodness when applying it, and the sample did prompt me to go and purchase more, but after a month of using them 1-2 times a week, I felt there was no change. There are so many other AHA or BHA inclusive products at there that do more.
As much as i like the hydroboost range, I wasn't a fan of this mask. The main issue was that it had far too much serum on it. It ended up being too slippery and heavy to stay on the skin successfully. I found it incredibly difficult to get the two mask pieces to stay in place, and I ended up with product everywhere. The product smells nice and fresh, and my skin did feel soft and smooth once i took the mask off and patted in the excess serum, but I it was too much of a bother for me to consider using again. I imagine this would be a great mask if it didn't have quite as much serum.
