Maybelline New York Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara

I think this brow gel is highly underrated here on beautycrew - I have it in transparent and I tend to use it either to set my brows after using a coloured powder to fill in my brows or just on its own to make my brows look neat and tidy on days when I don't wish to wear much makeup. The brush head here is very unique with its ball shape and I think it works very well to comb through my brow hairs and set them in place. It lasts a good while too once it is applied, which is great. A very good budget friendly brow product.  

I had high hopes for this product but sadly it doesn't meet my expectations. The brush size is large and the bristles are thin so its better on thicker brows.  It is lightweight and has a medium coverage but does not last for long.  It follows the shapes of your brows so it is best to use this product when your brows are shaped and cleaned.  When applied, the brows look stiff and unnatural, which I personally don't like.  Would recommend to those who have lighter, shaped brows and want a bit of colour temporarily.

A bit of a disappointment, the shape of the brush is very good but the size is a bit too large. The coverage was OK but I found the product did not last very long before it dried up. The one good point was that I was able to use this product only and did not have to use a brow gel to keep my unruly brows in order.

This product was a disappointment for me. I am always looking for a more affordable dupe for the cult-favourite Gimme Brow by Benefit, and this just didn't cut it. The wand itself is not only too big for fine brow-work, I found the ball-applicator to be cumbersome to use. I also found it spikey, stiff and unpleasant to use. The product did not distribute evenly on the wand, so I often found blobs appearing on random points on my brows, which i would have to go back and try and brush through, ending up wearing more product than I wanted to. I set these quibbles aside, figuring if the wand was no good, I would still be able to use a brush or commandeer a better wand from another product, but then I found the mascara itself to be subpar. It came up super shiny and wet looking on my brows, which is never a good look - who wants greasy brows?! It did keep them in place, but I never felt like they dried and the product was more like a pomade or gel than a mascara. I also didn't like the chemical smell of this product. It's a good price, so it gets points for that, and packaging on the outside looks nice, but beyond that, I don't have many nice things to say. I persisted for multiple applications to give it a fair shot and to make sure the wand just wasn't overloaded with product at the start, but I would rather use nothing on my brows than this. Do not recommend. The search for the perfect affordable brow product continues....

I have this product in 'clear' and find it great to seal my eyebrow products.  It applies easy, the brush ball is a little big for precision but because I use clear you can't see if you go outside the lines.

Great product for keeping brows in place or to create a natural look. The only reason i give 3 stars is that the brush is a little too big at the tip so can sometimes get on to your skin and is hard to apply precisely.

I like this product, but I don't love it. Mainly I think the packaging lets it down - the ball at the end of the wand is too big to be able apply the gel precisely and I find I need to go in with a cotton bud afterwards to clean up the lines. I've since cut the end off and found it a lot easier to use. The colour lasts al day and doesn't make your brows feel crispy or crunchy, which is a real plus!

A great buildable eyebrow mascara with no need for pencil or powder eyebrow products. Great if you have really light eyebrows as it makes them look more natural with it's buildability.

I love how I can use this product by itself and with my other favourite brow product (Maybelline New York Brow Satin Define & Fill Duo) for a stronger look. You have to be careful though as it does apply quite wet, so make sure you wait a few minutes for it to set to avoid smudging - it's great how well it sets your brows in place all day!
