Lancôme Hypnôse Iconic Eyeshadow Palette

This  Hypnose Iconic Palette is so luxe and high quality it is an absolute pleasure to use! It contains 5 powder eyeshadow shades which are so buttery-soft they are a dream to apply. In fact they almost feel like a cream. Highly pigmented and shimmmery it is so easy to create a look for any occasion. The palettes are named after famous locations in Paris - I have the palette Place de Vosges  and I LOVE it. It has yellow-gold and pale rose for a shimmery evening effect, brown and grey for a smoky eye, champagne to use as a base. And, for once, a duo of brush and applicator that can actually be used. The brush is silky and perfect for blending, and the double-sided sponge applicator has different sized sponges that do a pretty good job loading colour onto your lids, and because it contains everything you need it makes a great travel product. The packaging is sleek and as luxe as its contents with the iconic rose symbol on the front. Hypnose Iconic palette far surpasses any others I have at the moment and this range actually has it's own mascara which I also love.  The only negative is the high price - $92 for a very small palette - but otherwise what's not to love about this eyeshadow!

A top quality eyeshadow pan with five different colours. The eyeshadows are beautiful natural shades, which can be used to create an everyday look or something more dramatic for going out. The pigmentation of the eyeshadows is incredible! The only downfall of this product is that it is very expensive, and only very small. However the brushes that it comes with are great and very practical. I think it is amazing how so many different eye looks can be created with this small eyeshadow pan!! The size is very handy for travelling. I personally love this pan and would recommend it to anybody!!

Lancôme Hypnôse Iconic Eye Shadow Palette, 21 Bastille is packaged in a shiny black compact with the Lancôme’s signature silver rose on the bottom left hand corner. The compact is beautifully made and has a strong magnetic close, even the metal brushes are magnetically held into place!   The palette contains 5 stunning neutral shades that will take you from day to night making it perfect for travel. The mirror is generously sized and covered with a removable colour by numbers eyelid map so you don’t forget where all of the colours go!   Two brushes are provided; one with a soft brush head and the other has a sponge tip at one end and a smaller thinner one at the other end. I love the small thin applicator. Truthfully I have never used an application tip that feels so beautiful, silky,soft, it even reduces fall out.   The eye shadow can be used wet or dry and is the best colour combination that I have ever found, so for once there will be no wastage. I can build the colour up for a more dramatic evening look or easily achieve a natural daytime look. The colours are highly pigmented and last ALL day. So it’s not just a pretty palette, it is a quality product that produces a professional lasting finish.   I would recommend this product. I really do love it!

I have one of these palettes in my collection that I use on rotation and it is a beautiful product. The shades are coordinated extremely well in each palette and can be mixed and matched for an array of different looks. The colours are pigmented, blendable and easy to work with for a professional result. I prefer to work with an eyeshadow brush (like a MAC 217) rather than use the applicators that it comes with. However the compact is great for travel and the eyeshadows can also be used as eyeliners using the applicators or a fine eyeliner brush.

The colours in this palette are really nice! There are slightly darker and more intense colours provided, along with the lighter colours, so you can really just play around with them and make lots of different looks. It is very long lasting and quite luxury. Brushes are very useful.

This is my favorite colour palette for creating a bit of drama to my eyes, I have blond hair and blue eyes and it looks stunning! You can easily blend in a bit more colour to change a day look to an evening look with the choice of colours to blend.

I love this palette! The colours are beautiful, deep pigmentation means the colours are true and long lasting, and suit my colouring perfectly (blond, brown eyes, yellow toned skin). The packaging feels luxurious, and the brushes are good for a touch up, although I prefer my own brushes for initial application. This palette is a pleasure to use and I would definitely recommend.
