L’Oréal Paris SuperLiner Gel Liner

When I first purchased this it was completely budge-proof and jet black. It became a holy grail from first use. I repurchased it about 2 years later and it wasn't the same formula. It smudged within minutes of application, wasn't a deep black and was just something that I couldn't wear out of the house. Very weird!

This gel liner has to be one of the best gel eyeliner's i've tried. It comes in a small glass pot with a gold lid and a brush, which honestly is no good if you're looking to create a sharp wing. I'd say discard that brush..I use the zoeva winged liner brush instead and it works wonderfully with this gel liner. The most important thing to me is the opacity, and this gel liner is very pigmented, extremely black and matte which is what i LOVE. The formula is just as amazing, it is smooth and creamy. I used to struggle so much with winged liner, but this gel liner is so easy to work with as it is so smooth. It doesn't dry ultra-quick so it's also very easy to clean up mistakes using a cotton bud. In regards to longevity, it lasts for a really long time. I can't tell you exactly how long, but the longest i've worn it for is about 10 hours and it lasted great, there was very minimal fading around the inner corner of my eye. This gel liner pretty much ticks off everything I look for in a gel liner, I couldn't recommend it enough. It is reasonably priced and easy to find. The actual pot of liner also doesn't dry out quickly (over three weeks)  so you can use it for a long-time before repurchasing or reviving it with inglot duraline!

This is definitely my go-to gel eyeliner! I always get compliments when I wear this because it's extremely black, and I love eyeliners that have an intense colour result! It claims to last 24 hours and I've worn it for about 12 hours at the most, and have worn it clubbing, and it lasts INCREDIBLY well. It doesn't smudge or transfer unless you rub your eye quite violently, and it is indeed waterproof! The only negative I have about it is that the brush that it comes with isn't ideal for drawing extremely sharp wings as it has a rounded tip, so I'd recommend buying another more precise angled brush. Otherwise it's a winner!
