John Frieda Volume Lift Weightless Shampoo

This comes in a large tube with a flip cap, so it can stand. The tube is a pretty shimmery sky blue with a hint of green. The 250ml tube will last quite a while. The shampoo is a decent consistency. Not too thick and not too runny. It has a nice fresh floral scent, which isn't overpowering. A little goes a long way, and it feels nice when massaging into the scalp. It lathers a lot less than some other shampoos, which is great as your scalp feels clean, rather than just filled with suds. After washing it felt hydrated, and nice and smooth, not gritty like some shampoos can leave the hair before using conditioner. After blow drying, my hair had more shine, and looked like it had a treatment put through it. It felt bouncy, like I had a professional blow out down, and didn't feel weighed down. My hair also looked great and lasted until the next wash (I washed my hair once a week, and it didn't look oily or like there was a build up of product.

The John Frieda Volume Lift Shampoo comes in an inverted squeeze bottle, ensuring gravity pulls the liquid to where you need it. When saying this, it looks exactly like the partner conditioner and can be a little tricky to identify without the glasses in the shower. My hair is blonde, fine, straight and there's a lot of it. I found the product lathered ok, but did not spread throughout the hair easily and I therefore needed to use more product than I would with other brands of shampoo. It left my hair feeling clean and smelling delectable. But my usually straight tresses developed an unattractive kink slightly in the back. Almost like if you had your hair tied in a ponytail all day, then let it out without brushing it. My hair filled with more static and began to frizz. Maybe this is volume? Although my hair did have more colour and shine compared to my rather dirty hair. But generally I needed to actually style my hair after using this product.

After doing research online for a shampoo and conditioner to give manageability and body to my fine straight hair I thought I'd give the John Frieda Volume Lift brand a try. I have used his products before and found them very reliable. The product was in a generous sized tube, contents had a very pleasant but light scent. The shampoo lathers up well and only a little is necessary (I usually apply in sections) to achieve this. Some hair products affect my eyes but not this one. It's very good value especially if you can purchase on special!

I love how this shampoo feels on my hair! It has a very pleasant scent, like soft perfume, which is refreshing and light. The shampoo does not weigh my hair down and keeps my hair looking glossy and feeling clean. I love the squeeze tube packaging which ensures I get every remaining product out of the tube. The shampoo itself is thick and and rich and creates a good lather. It doesn't dry my hair or create flyaways. My hair also felt good to touch. This shampoo is great for everyday use without drying my hair or stripping off the natural oils. The shampoo does give my hair a good amount of volume wihtout making it frizzy. Pros: Affordable Cleans hair without drying hair Cons: None Recommendation: This is an excellent daily use shampoo that makes my hair look and feel healthy and clean. 

This is a great quality shampoo from John Frieda that delivered amazing results. It has such a nice fresh scent to it and is thick and lathers up really well so you don't need to use a lot of the shampoo to get your hair clean. It cleans really well without drying your hair out. I also really like the product packaging, it's very bright and attractive. My hair is long and fine and I found that using this shampoo regularly with the matching conditioner gave my hair extra body and volume, so it no longer looked and feel as flat as a pancake, thanks to its spherical volumising polymer technology. It gave me thicker and fuller looking hair without weighting it down. After using this shampoo for a few weeks, I found that my hair did look and feel healthier and stronger, thanks to it's patented strengthening technology. Before, my hair was a little bit weak and would occasionally break off and  I also had split ends. This shampoo has really improved the condition of my hair, making it look really healthy and fantastic. I would highly recommend the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Core Restore Protein-Infused Shampoo, and the matching conditioner to anyone who wants to add more body and volume to their fine or flat hair.

I love John freida products and this shampoo is a winner. At just under $20.00 it’s great value for a salon quality shampoo and I don’t need to use a lot of product for a great result. The shampoo is thick and luxurious and lathers up well. It rinses clear with ease and smells divine. I found my hair really easy to style after using this product and I recommend using the shampoo in conjunction with the matching conditioner for best results. It adds volume to my hair and a nice swishiness when styled and also a high shine. It definitely strengthens hair, the protein infused formula gives lift and body with ease. I really loved this product and would purchase it again as my hair looks and feels quite professionally done after use. I highly recommend it.

I love this shampoo!  I have fine hair and all of the colouring has taken a further toll.  After using this shampoo my hair feels thicker and has more volume.  I love that you don't need to use much to get a good lather going.  My new favourite shampoo!

I really enjoyed using this shampoo, my hair is short and damaged from bleaching and after using this for about a fortnight my hair not only felt fuller but softer. I only need the smallest amount as it lathered really well which is a plus in the cost saving department

Loved this product! Such a beautiful smelling shampoo and it left my hair so soft. I find that a lot of shampoos have such bad smelling fragrances but this one was very pleasant. Left my hair feeling full of volume without being oily which I normally get. Would recommend to friends.

I have thin blonde hair that just lays flat on my head. After using this product for 2 weeks I have noticed so much volume in my hair! Not to mention how lovely it made my hair smell. Would definitely recommend this product and range to my family and friends.

I have really fine hair and it's been so hard to find a shampoo that gives me enough volume without drying it out. I've finally found a shampoo that is lightweight and doesn't weigh my hair down. This used with the conditioner is an absolute lifesaver! Smells great too!

I've tried a few different products for fine hair but I really like this one, especially the shampoo. My hair literally felt thicker as I washed it and it lathered up really nicely. Once I dried my hair it felt fuller with more volume. I also like the look of the packaging in my shower.

This is a great product  I have used it now for a couple of weeks  I have fine hair but it makes my hair feel very nice and soft.  I will continue to use the product  have also recommended the product to my daughter to use would make a great present

Rather nice packaging and perfume was pleasant.  Shampoo lathered up really well and left hair clean without drying it out.  The volumising results were evident from just using the shampoo.  My hair was noticeably thicker with fly aways gone!   The shampoo seemed to leave a coating on each hair that left it a little thicker and stronger.  Could not, however, get a comb through it without using conditioner.  Even rinsed off and still wet the result was hair that felt a little sticky.  Small price to pay though for increase in hair thickness.  I would use this product for an occasion rather than day to day hair care.

Such a great product, it cleanses the hair really well without drying or stripping the hair. It lathers up wonderfully with only a small amount, and the scent is so fresh and perfect for summer. My hair has such lovely volume and bounce when using this shampoo it has quickly become my new favourite.

Great Shampoo, smells wonderful and does what it promises to do. My hair instantly feels thicker, stronger and much fuller. Combined with the conditioner and serum, my hair visibly has less fall out and breakage.  Whilst hair is a lot stronger, I have noticed my hair tangles super easily and by the end of day it's quite dry. Otherwise a good product for its value.

I loved the packaging of this shampoo. I love the colours. It matches my bathroom. I love the smell of the product. It goes on nicely and lathers up beautifully. My hair feels very clean and fresh after using it. It most definitely adds volume. My hair was much thicker after the first use and appeared even more thick after each subsequent use. The only problem is, it was so thick that it was hard to get a brush through it. After brushing my hair looked silky and thick and lovely but it knotted up very easily. This product definitely does what it says it will do.

This shampoo definitely does what the package says - from the very first wash I could feel a noticeable difference to my hair. It felt fuller and this only continued as I used the product. I like a soft feel to my hair and so as much as I loved the volume I was getting, I have to say this isn't for me. I've definitely never tried anything that provided more volume though.

This shampoo smelt fresh and the packaging was very good. I didn't like the feel of my hair after using this. It felt stiff and rough and was very knotty. As much as I wanted to like it, I couldn't say I was a fan.  I won't be purchasing this again or even finish the bottle I have.

This shampoo is perfect for fine hair that needs a bit of bounce! My hair is super flat and it felt so much thicker and more voluminous after using, even just after one go... I would definitely recommend for people who need a bit more volume. Oh and it smells really good too, perfect for the summer time:)
