Estée Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15 Dry

The Estée Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15 it’s a pretty great daily face cream. The consistency is light and has SPF 15, so it gives a little extra protection from daily sun exposure. It does a great job at moisturising without being too intense. It also made my skin look healthy and more even-toned after just a few days in a row! The cream is of medium consistency and it almost has a slight gel consistency to it also, which I liked. It goes on really smooth and doesn’t feel greasy or oily at all. Application is super easy. It’s a jar with a lid that screws on. The packaging is really beautiful too. I used about a 10 cent piece sized amount each morning, which covered my entire face and neck. Drying time was nice a quick. It took about 30 seconds – 1 minute for it to completely soak in. The smell is really fresh, kind of like cucumber with a hint of that sunscreen smell – it is really subtle, so I didn’t mind it at all. I thought the overall smell was light and refreshing and didn’t linger too long after it soaked in. After applying the Estee Lauder cream, I thought my skin looked healthy and smooth. It made my cheeks feel really soft and went on great under my make up in the morning. I also noticed my skin felt more hydrated throughout the day. My fine lines were less noticeable, and I even noticed my complexion was a little more even after a couple of days! Overall, I was really impressed with the results!

Estée Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15 Normal/Combination is palest green in colour and has a claiming cucumber scent. A little goes a long way so I only need the tiniest amount on my finger to cover my face. The cream is reasonably light and doesn’t feel greasy. I was actually surprised how well it absorbed and I like the slight shiny glow it leaves.  It glides onto the skin leaving it feeling silky soft and hydrated. This cream makes my face feel revitalised and protected so it's a winner for me. I would recommend this product. 

This is a beautiful, everyday creme. It smells incredible, and feels amazing and soothing on the skin. I love that it is SPF 15. This product leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and refreshed. The packaging is also very pretty. I think this is a very luscious product, I absolutely adore it!

Beauty begins with your skin, if you start with the best blank canvas you possibly can, then any makeup you put on top will look and work better, and if you really work at it like I do, you will be rewarded with skin that needs less makeup on it, and skin that can sometimes go without makeup at all. It's all about incorporating the right products into a twice daily routine, and being totally vigilant about it, the result being that you will be rewarded with smooth, even and clear skin like I have been lately, because I really work at it and it is paying off big time. I double cleanse, with an oil and cream formulation, apply serum, and a day and night moisturiser, SPF 50+ sunscreen, and a clay or moisturising mask once or twice a week. Estee Lauder is a brand I've used and loved for a while now, as their products are usually effective, affordable, and work from the first time, giving you instant and long term results that you can really see. When I needed a new day time moisturiser recently, I immediately thought of Estee Lauder, and this day wear advanced multi-action SPF 15+ for dry skin was the obvious choice for me. The jar is a really decent size and well worth the $70 price tag, I've used it for many weeks now and have barely made a dent, as a little goes a very long way. After double cleansing and applying serum, I scoop out a small amount with a spatula, which saves me dipping my fingers straight into the jar, and massage over my entire face. It absorbs really quickly, but  helps to treat any dry or red patches I have, and any break outs I used to have seems to have reduced dramatically since Ive been using this moisturiser. It leaves me smooth, soft and dewy, and is a great base for makeup, as it also gives a radiant glow. Estee Lauder is my skin care and makeup brand of choice, well one of many, because the products are effective, affordable, and give instant and long lasting results, and the packaging is so pretty and looks good in my bathroom vanity, and the things it does for my skin is nothing short of miraculous, seeing as I have the most difficult, sensitive, acne prone, combination/dry skin. If you want amazing skin, you need to start with amazing skin, and Estee Lauder products helps to achieve it for you in no time at all. That is the beautiful power of beauty.

Like all Estee products, the packaging is a delight albeit not entirely practical (but aesthetics are important when looking at a shelf of various jars and bottles). I am a fan of the hint of cucumber in this product, a big fan. I am not a fan however of fragrance additives in my beauty products, but my praise for this product is not diminished by this in any way. This product provides perfect hydration while leaving my skin fresh and balanced from the moment I put it one and throughout my day - whether out and about or under the office air-conditioner and lights. My skin feels fresh, rejuvinated, and ultimately reduces my outbreaks dramatically.  Having fair (ivory fair) combination skin which is boarder line sensitive, including sun protection in my daily skin regime is essential! For me personally, I will use sun products if I need a higher SPF factor, and so the low SPF content of this product is no deterrent, in fact it means I can use the 1 moisturiser day through to night if need be as my skin doesn't become overly oily (unlike some higher SPF moisturisers I have tried). The cream is also good for make-up application, however with the SPF a matte primer is sometimes needed on those more humid days, but would still strongly recommend!

I brought this cream as i was in the marker for one that didnt irritate my dry sensitive skin. I ordered this direct off the estee lauder site, im in love because you can get a trial size cheap, but i think it will last me a few months. Upon opening i adored the blue and gold jar, its beautiful amongst my makeup. The smell if this cream is lovely, a fresh floral smell not overpowering, and the fragrance didnt irritate my skin. After cleansing, i decided to use this very sparingly and i am quite surprised, i usually need to lather moisturizer on, but this even a tiny amount worked wonderfully. I didnt have dry skin all all since i applied it, and im over the moon as this is even mire cost effective due to the small amount i use. My skin has been quite clear, i have noticed this doesnt clash with other products i use (peels ect) so i dont ever feel a burning or painful rash effect. I will buy this again, i find it good quality and value for the price range, as before i only used cheaper supermarket brands.

I have used Estee Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15 for over ten years now and it is truly my all-time favourite day cream! I use the dry skin version during the Winter months and it's generally my preferred version, however in very hot, humid Summer weather I occasionally switch to the normal/combination skin version of this cream. It comes in a beautiful light blue-green jar and I buy the 50ml size as of course it's much better value seeing as it's my everyday AM moisturiser. It has a fairly thick, almost buttery texture than absorbs well into my dry, dehydrated skin without feeling heavy or sticky. There is a fresh, but strong cucumber scent that all DayWear moisturisers and products have. I actually think this fragrance is refreshing and uplifting but I know others with sensitive skin are not too fond of this fragrance. I really like the instant hydrating, smoothness and freshness this cream provides as soon as you apply it to your face. This cream provides some UV protection (SPF15) which of course is always a must-have for me. I don't have very deep wrinkles on my face, mainly age spots on my cheeks and fine lines on my forehead area. My skin does however get dehydrated because of my work environment and I find DayWear helps keep my skin looking plump, soft and smooth. I am very impressed with the added anti-oxidants and plants extracts in this moisturiser, as I certainly believe the anti-oxidants have helped keep my skin looking smoother and younger over the years!  My only major criticism is that this cream comes in a jar, therefore dipping your fingers into the cream everyday is a bit unsanitary. A bottle or pump packaging would have been more hygienic and travel friendly too. I recommend DayWear to anyone who is looking for an effective all-in-one anti-aging day cream, and doesn't like to layer many skincare products on top of each other.  I would also recommend this cream to anyone with dry to very dry skin as this (dry skin) version has a thicker and richer consistency.  *Pros: - Spreads easily and absorbs well into the skin - Helps my makeup/powder glide on easily - Provides mild UV protection - Has a rich, moisturising texture to smooth and hydrate dry skin - Good mix of anti-oxidant ingredients added *Cons: - Is expensive to buy, especially for an everyday moisturiser - The jar packaging is not very hygienic - Strong fragrance

A product that pairs beautifully with other serums and skincare from Estee Lauder, I love the texture of the product and the beautifully light and refreshing pick-me-up scent. It is non-greasy, lightweight and hydrating and also contains an SPF factor. Packaged in a classic glass jar, I prefer to use a small plastic spatula to scoop the product out to apply. It helps to prevent premature signs of ageing, and my skin feels smoothed and hydrated, but never oily. I would continue to repurchase!

I suffer from patches of dry, sensitive skin. It flakes, it dries out quickly, and can be red and dull. I feel hydrated when I wear Estée Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15 under my foundation. It's light, non-greasy and the inclusion of sun protection is extra reassuring. My face has cleared 100% and I no longer have dry and dull patches on my skin. It smells divine. My skin has never felt softer. I have acne prone/sensitive skin and this works miracles! Expensive but worth every cent!

This product is a lovely consistency and has a light fragrance.  It goes on my skin smoothly and at first it feels a bit heavy, but seems to melt away leaving my skin feeling really moisturised without feeling greasy.  I would suggest waiting 5 minutes or so before applying foundation to allow the moisturiser to sink in.  My skin feels soft after I use it.  Highly recommend this product.

I always buy the version for normal/combination skin and this one I will be reviewing. I really like this day cream and I find myself coming back to it every so often because it cooperates so well with my combination skin. I would call Day Wear an everyday cream that is also a great base for make up. The packaging, like all Estee Lauder creams, is a standard jar ( light green this time) with a golden lid. Of course  the tube with a pump wouldn’t hurt anyone but that pretty jar I don’t really mind.The formula of the cream is perfect- not too thick, not too runny, glides on the skin effortlessly and gets absorbed quite quickly, although I with my combination skin, suggest waiting at least 5 minutes before applying foundation. I like Day Wear’s refreshing cucumber scent,  it is light and won’t stay on the face for too long though, which is fine. When I use Day Wear my skin feels very smooth  and soft, this day cream nourishes and protects my skin ( well, SPF could be higher but for everyday cream I think it will do).  I like the fact that this cream doesn’t make my face too shiny and creates the most incredible canvas for make up, it works especially well with Double Wear foundation. I have never noticed any irritation caused by this cream, even when I am on retinoids.  Day Wear leaves my face radiant and looking healthy. I highly recommend, but take one star just because the packaging could be a bit more hygienic.
