COVERGIRL Eye Shadow Quad

I am using this at the moment and I love the colours, it takes me from day through to night and the colours work well all year through.  I like to mix and match with these colours or even use alone if I am going for a bold lip.  I'm also impressed with the quality, intensity and texture.

I used Go for Golds eyeshadow quad and I am really happy for the purchase. It came on 4 different gold colors, starting from a light gold through to dark brown, there was also an applicator included. The shadows themselves are quite intense, so it is perfect to use when going out in the evening, since they glisten and glimmer a lot. On the days I applied it in the morning, it did start to fade a bit after few hours, so a primer is a must before applying. The applicator never failed me or make me use a separate one.

My favourite COVERGIRL Eye Shadow Quad colour is the Notice Me Nudes. This palette contains four gorgeous complimentary neutral shade that you can wear everyday for an understated look or build the colours up for a more dramatic evening look. This is a quality eyeshadow with high pigmentation. The texture is creamy and blends easily with a little or no fall out. It has a nice subtle simmer to it. My tip is to apply an eyeshadow primer underneath for longer staying power. It comes in a compact container that is perfect to take with you when traveling. Each shade is numbered from one to four and it even comes with instructions on how to apply each one making it great for beginners: Shade 1: Illuminate  - Cover the base of your eye from lash line to brow bone. Shade 2: Enrich - Sweep your eyelid gently with a pop of rich color. Shade 3: Frame - Blend each shade into the crease and along the outer half of the eyelid. Shade 4: Intensify - Contour by applying shadow along your eye line, emphasizing the outer corner. Love this palette - such warm, natural tones that can be intensified for a dramatic night look or for a subtle daytime look.  Lovely colour combination to suit most skin tones.

Seriously, this COVERGIRL Eye Shadow Quad is the first ever multiple eyeshadow palette that I have ever been able to use all of the shades. All four colours are gorgeous and are all under the same lid, so I am truly impressed. It reminds me of painting by numbers  1, 2, 3, 4 - all-over, lid, crease, and liner. It is as easy as that and it has a cheat sheet on the back if you forget. The results are fantastic and fool proof.   Every morning I am in a rush and I apply the bulk of my eyeshadow with my fingers. I use the applicator loaded with the darkest brown to line my lid and then I blend using my fingers. I find that this way I get less messy fallout covering my cheeks.  I found the eyeshadow shape to be a little weird but then I worked out that Covergirl are smarter than I am because I haven't even had my usual eyeshadow issue of crumbling in the Palette. I love the size because it is great for your bag or to take on holidays, which is why I picked it up in the first place. Oh and because of the amazing colours! This quality shadow is highly pigmented and lasts all day which, makes it fantastic value for money. I recommend trying this eyeshadow.
