Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

When I first started using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser a few years ago, I was really happy with it. Since then, I've tried other products and gotten fussier with the results I expect and have learnt a lot more about skincare products and have found that Cetaphil is a very simple cleanser. Its perfect for children and those with problem free skin. My skin needs a little more oompha. I have pimple prone skin so I need something that will give it a deeper cleanse and Cetaphil just doesn't do the job. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is suitable for washing the face on a makeup/sunscreen day and suitable for sensitive skin. I'll probably finish off using it as a shower gel but will buy something different next time.

This product is targeted for sensitive, irritated skin and is sometimes recommended by dermatologists. It is a non-foaming wash-off cleanser without any fragrance or SLS. It is indeed very gentle but don't expect it to remove stubborn waterproof sunscreen or make-up. However, it is safe to use if you are having a flare-up or your skin feels irritated. It doesn't dry out your skin or leave a stripping feeling. It is reasonably-priced and comes in various sizes up to 1L if you want to use it on your body as well. Personally I prefer to use Cerave's range of cleansers for the face which are more effective and just as gentle.

I have recently started to get more into uaing soap-free products ans picked this cleanser up at Chemist Warehouse. It is quite gentle but I feel it cleans my skin quite well. It does not irritate my skin at all and I enjoy it knowing it has no soap, fragrance and nasties. It serves it’s purpose and is super affordable and you get so much product it is definetly great value for money. One bottle of this will last me ages. Overall, I am very happy with this product and will continue to purchase it.

This Gentle Skin Cleanser worked well for my sensitive skin. It cleanses and moisturised my face and body, leaving it feeling clean and soft. I found that my skin retained moisture well, without stripping it dry. It's non-comedogenic, meaning it won't block your pores, and it also won't sting your eyes. A great cleanser for all skin types. The only thing I didn't love was that it didn't foam up at all. This doesn't detract from the effectiveness of the product, it's just something I prefer when using a cleanser.

The cetaphil gentle skin cleaner is a really lovely gentle cleanser for all skin types. I was a little sceptical that something that can be used on body can also be used on the face. I do have sensitive skin and there was no issue using this on my face which is amazing! There's no scent and very gentle and effective in getting a good clean. The pump bottle is super easy to use and you don't need much product, so very economical. This cleanser will be kept in my shower so I don't have to continuously bring in my face wash. I will definitely repurchase and recommend to my family and friends.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser has been my go-to face cleanser for years. I found that it was gentle on my sensitive skin leaving my skin feeling clean and soft. It didn't irritate the pimples I had on my face. I love that I can use it with or without water and it leaves my skin feeling cleansed and moisturised. It was effective in removing the BB cream I use daily but isn't great at removing heavier makeup. I used it to wash my body in the shower it has left my body feeling cleansed and moisturised. The pump lid makes this cleanser simple to use. I would buy this product again and recommend it for all skin types, especially those with dry, sensitive skin.

I have sensitive prone skin which occurs often due to stress and seasonal weather changes. I used the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser in the morning and at night to gently clean my skin of sleep, pollutants and make-up. I have to say this product is fantastic to use for sensitive skin. My face felt thoroughly cleansed, hydrated and extremely soothed. I enjoyed using it with tepid water and it glided nicely over my skin leaving it fully moisturised. Sometimes I find that excess water can also be irritating for my skin. So when I needed to reduce water usage, I used a small dollop onto a soft cloth and massaged this in and wiped it off to find clean skin with no irritation. I followed my daily washing routine with the Cetaphil Moisturising Cream and, in combination, found my skin extremely supple, easily absorbed and instantly hydrated. This range is great for sensitive prone skin and I will continue to use it and recommend it.

I recently ran out of my cleanser and have been looking for something gentle and this could not have come at a better time! For face: true to its word this is a gentle cleanser and you don’t need much! One squirt will do your whole face and neck. I have found that it’s great at removing sunscreen after a day out as well as using it to remove light make up. For heavier make up it may take a couple of goes. For body: as it heats up I often find I get pimples on my chest, back/neck and backs of legs where sweat builds up. This product has been a game changer. I find it really cleanses the area at night and does not dry it out at all. The decrease in roughness of my skin has been dramatic as I’ve been struggling to find something that will help it. I also like that I can use it on the backs of my legs. All round great product I am definitely going to be purchasing again as a little goes a long way and it’s affordable.

Cetaphil has a great brand reputation for calming the skin. I have been using this in the bathroom which doubles as a face cleanser which has been advantageous in cleaning my whole face and body at the same time! The packaging is simple and easy to use, the pump is my most favourite thing of all. I hate unscrewing lids or popping them open as it takes too much time and effort for time strapped people. The cleanser is scent free but a little drying on my face. I think its due to me washing in hot water, I need to adjust the water temperature when I shower. However it is nothing that moisturiser can't fix! I used the Cetaphil tub of moisturising cream that was received in the trial that is a great addition afterwards. All in all, this is a great face/body cleanser, it cleanser my skin and doesn't irritate my face at all.

This cleanser is a great option that is ideal for anyone with sensitive skin and on a budget. It comes in a huge pump bottle and can be used for face and body. It's a cream-gel texture that doesn't lather up, and leaves your skin feeling clean, and works well to remove sunscreen / light foundation. It's probably most suited for normal/oily/combination skin - it may be a bit stripping if you have ultra dry or dehydrated skin. It has absolutely no scent whatsoever so would also be perfect for kids!

I found the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser a lovely, light cleanser that wasn’t too harsh on my skin which I love. I have dry skin so the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser was perfect for my skin and didn’t leave me with that tight, dry feeling after the shower which I often find with a lot of cleansers. The cleanser has a good consistency and texture, feeling kind of silky on your skin. Although the product can be used on your faces body, I used it most on my face as that is where I feel it works best. The packaging of the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser was of great quality and feels like you get a lot for your money being in a large bottle, it will last me a long time! I love that the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser has no soap or fragrance so it isn’t harsh on the skin and great for anyone who can be sensitive to these two ingredients. I also loved that it is gentle enough to not sting your eyes. Whilst being a gentle cleanser, I did find the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser was still an effective solution to be able to remove makeup on the days that I wore it which is a plus however, I don’t wear heavy makeup so I am unsure of how well the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser would remove heavier makeup. Overall I feel the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is a lovely product for someone who has dry or sensitive skin and is looking for a cleanser that will be gentle on their skin and still able to remove makeup, providing a fresh and clean feeling as well a feeling of being moisturised and not dry.

The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is non-comedogenic, and great for all skin types. This product comes in an easy to use pump bottle, and is very economical. Half pump is enough to cleanse the face, while one pump is enough to cleanse the body. The formula is very gentle and great for sensitive skin. I have not had any skin irritation. The formula does not lather up, but leaves my skin hydrated. It does remove skincare and light make up, leaving my face clean. The cleanser is also fragrance free. I would recommend this cleanser as it is gentle and non irritating, while keeping my skin hydrated.

The Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser was a nice product to use but won’t replace my regular cleanser. I enjoyed the pump packaging and the lack of scent. The product does gently cleanse and I enjoyed using it on my body but I didn’t like it for my face. The lack of lather takes some getting used to as well! As someone with sensitive skin this product didn’t irritate my skin or leave me with any rashes. That there is no soap in the formulation is a big plus as well! I didn’t feel that it got my face quite as clean as I would have liked, especially when removing sun cream. Overall I enjoyed the product but I wouldn’t buy again as it doesn’t beat my regular cleanser.

I am an allied health worker who is showering multiple times a day. I've enjoying using this as a body wash. It's very gentle on the skin and is not drying at all. Prior to this, having to shower multiple times a day made me very dry and itchy. I like the size, great value for money and the pump bottle makes it very easy to use. It is also easy to dispense into a mini bottle without losing any product. It's not a product I use for my face as I find it a little stripping and makes my skin tight.

This Skin Cleanser was really nice and light - perfect for sensitive skin. It comes in a 500ml bottle with a pump lid, which I really appreciate for ease of use. As for the product I have actually used it before and liked it, but had not realised that it was for use on the body AND face (even though the packing does mention that it is also for the face). I actually love that it can be used on the face so that I only need one product to cover face and body. The consistence of the cleanser is similar to a lotion and cleaned my skin really well. It didn't remove eye makeup, but definitely cleaned my face really well and removed dirt, makeup and oils. My face felt hydrated after use and it didn't cause any type of sensitivity - not even stinging to the eyes which is amazing. It is soap and fragrance free and dermatologist recommended so was gentle enough that I even used it on my kids!

This is my first time using a skin cleanser designed for sensitive skin. I normally use higher end products which get me squeaky clean, only to have my face to hyper-produce oil as the day goes on. This skin cleanser feels great and has kept my face feeling plump and dewy without shine and excess oiliness as it has not stripped my skin of the moisture it needs. I wear only light makeup (SPF + sheer foundations) and it seems to take it off well. I'm looking forward to using this on my body as I know my dry legs will thank me for it. Given the low price tag for something that is soothing and non-irritating I think this is a great product. The only "negative" comment I have is that it does not lather - so this takes some getting used to, but this doesn't take away from the effectiveness.

This product is exactly what it claims to be, a gentle skin cleanser that can be used for both face and body. I have skin that is easily irritated from products, and have had no issues so far with this product. Unfortunately I haven't been able to trial it for as long as I would like to, as sometimes I don't notice irritation until I've used a product for a few weeks. The cleanser seems to clean the skin well, removing grime and sunscreen easily. Other reviews have stated that it doesn't remove makeup well, but I would recommend using an oil cleanser/balm to break down makeup first, then following up with this cleanser. For the price and the size, it's a great cleanser.

This cleaner is really soft and silky, it feels nice on the skin and great that it can be used on a damp/wet face in the shower or on a dry face so gives you flexibility in your morning and evening routines. The pump is great to be able to get a nice amount easily and I have sensitive skin and it felt nice and gentle on my skin but it didn't prevent any breakouts I found that the cleanser doesn't foam so it's difficult to feel like it is giving your skin a good clean so it's not my favourite cleaner to use.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this product, I didn't use it on my face but used it as an 'in shower' moisturiser. It is however gentle enough to use on the face. It's hard to tell with wet skin how the product is working but after a week's use my skin definitely responded well to this. It's not as drying as a soap and does leave the skin feeling hydrated afterwards. This product is perfect if you are looking for something gentle and that suits sensitive skin. I followed up my routine with the Cetaphil Moisturising Cream and using both together I think made a bigger difference. I probably wouldn't use this product on it's own.

So I used this on myself and my little ones. It didn't cause us to have dry skin after use, and did a good job of 'cleansing'. I wouldn't use it for face cleansing if you wear makeup, it doesn't do a great job at removing it. I did feel that the product was underwhelming in comparison to other products in the market for sensitive skin. Great cleanser for those who have sensitive skin and need something budget friendly that also won't cause their skin to freak out. For those who's skin can tolerate the usual body and face product, there are better products out there.
