Weleda Citrus 24h Roll-On Deodorant

I’m really happy that there are a growing number of brands that provide  a more natural alternative to the big soap and detergent companies. I have been trying  to  look for toiletries that don’t contain synthetic chemicals and mineral oils, so when I saw that Weleda also have a deodorant  which uses the properties of natural citrus oil, I was all for it. Weleda Citrus Deodorant has the  lovely, fresh lemon scent of lemon peel oil,as though you’ve just squeezed a lemon, as well as litsea cubeba essential oil to eliminate odours, and I have found it lasts all day. And all of this without using aluminium salts or any other nasties like petroleum-based oil! Weleda deodorant is 100% natural and cruelty-free, with no synthetic  irritants or preservatives. This is a spray deodorant, but uses a pump-action which is more environmentally-friendly (as well as better for travel). With another nod to the environment it also uses a recyclable glass bottle. The very first time I used it I felt stinging under one arm, but fortunately this hasn’t been repeated , even after shaving, so perhaps I had a small cut? It has certainly been very effective as well as a great scent. The only negative for me is the price, which is quite high for a deodorant, and more expensive than their roll-on. However, this is 100 mls of deodorant, which is pretty huge, so I think I will have this one for some time! I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this deodorant  as an alternative to the more synthetic drugstore brands.
