I was impressed at how easy this tool is to use compared to other curling tools on the market. It is effortless to use and very simple for anyone to get the hang of. The curling process is quick and easy. I was skeptical at first as I have long curly hair and I was wondering if my hair would get caught in the tool but I didnt have any issues. I had to blow dry my curly hair first before using the product as I would with any other device and I had no issues. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that wants a quick and efficient way to curl your hair effortlessly.

I love that the VS Sassoon Unbound Auto Curler can be used cordless or corded, making it convenient to take anywhere – work, holidays, etc. I have naturally very straight hair, so I love to curl my hair and always feel a million dollars when I do. Because I regularly curl my hair, I love styling tools that make the process easy and efficient. This curler has a sleek design and a nice hand feel. The anti-tangle technology makes me feel confident it will not catch and tangle my hair. The 4 curl types allow you to customise your style anytime, anywhere. I will be recommending it to friends.

The VS Sassoon Unbound Cord / Cordless Auto Curler creates easy, fast, fabulous curls or waves in no time. There are 4 heat settings, 3 curl directions, and 4 curl types (defined, loose, wavy, and soft), and can be used corded or for up to 45 minutes cord-free. I love that the mid-ranged VS Sassoon products comes with a case / heat mat, and there is flap inside the case to separate the curler from charger and cable. Super convenient for travel and storage. The curler is a nice light metallic lilac colour with rose-gold trims, balanced weight, and stands comfortably on its base in between uses. The LED indicators are clear and easy to read / understand. There is a quick reference on the box, quick start guide, and instruction booklet, to help you choose your settings. I used the lower heat temps and soft curl type with alternating curl direction for softer and beachy waves look. It was quite easy to choose the settings, and took a few goes experimenting to get my preferred look. I needed to pick up the right volume of hair, as too much meant the curler would not catch, and too little meant it would take a lot longer to style. As I was not very consistent with the volume each curl, I found that I preferred single direction curls and would manually switch to the other direction when needed, to ensure each of the curls were properly done. Would highly recommend practicing to best understand the tool and to achieve your preferred looks. I love that this curler is cordless, and each charge was more than sufficient for my curling sessions. The curls and waves lasted really well all day. Loving this curler - the super convenient cordless ability, and different curl directions and curl types, it is easy to achieve the relaxed wavy curls (or any types of curls). It is so much quicker and easier to achieve the look compared to using a straightener or wand!

Good curler! I have dead straight hair that’s always been tough to curl, so I didn’t have high hopes for the VS Sassoon Auto Curler, but it totally impressed me! It’s incredibly easy to use, and I actually got soft, long-lasting curls with minimal effort. I love how versatile it is, you can switch between curl types and directions effortlessly. The ceramic barrel adds shine and tames frizz, which is a big bonus. The battery life is a bit short, so I usually use it plugged in. Overall, it’s perfect for stubborn, straight hair!

Ok I was super excited to try this. I have the corded vs Sassoon secret curls unit so was excited to get a cordless and portable version. The unit is great as it’s compact and can be used cordless. Heat up time is quick and has 3 different fuel settings and you’re also able to pick have tight you want the curls and the heat settings. The charge time is 4 hours and I found that it maybe lasted 1.5 uses before I’d need to charge it again. It doesn’t really take that long to do your whole head and I have super long and thickish hair. Now the reason I only have this 3 starts is many! Firstly I found that it gave me flat/ greasy looking hair. At first I thought I was using it wrong or need super fresh hair for it to work properly. However even with freshly washed hair, i felt like it make my hair look limp and lifeless. Secondly the curls, even at the tightest setting does really take or hold well. Third, my hair kept getting caught in the barrel and a few times I actually got scared that I wouldn’t be able to pull my hair out and might need to cut it off. So it was a bit scary to use at times. I think overall the concept is great but maybe the design needs improvement. If you’re after a good blow out look, then this will work well. It does give you a nice blowout effect when you brush out the curls. I think for me personally I would stick with the corded vs Sassoon curler. Overall I would still recommend it to people that are short on time and skill. It’s a great portable unit particularly if tight curls is not when your going for.

I was initially very skeptical when using this as I have long, thick hair and thought that it might get caught. This tool was easy to use and has lots of curl and heat settings. When the hair is being curled it happens slowly so it doesn't feel like your hair is being pulled harshly. I would be mindful that the beeps that tell you to release your hair are very quiet. If you've got a lot of hair it can be a tedious process but worth it for how pretty the curls are! Test it out on a small piece of hair to see if you like the style of curl and to get the hang of how the tool works.

I’m very impressed with the VS Sassoon Unbound Auto Curler! It takes so little effort to create beautiful waves—just place a section of hair, press the button, and let it do the work. The process is smooth and relatively quick, even for me with straight, super thick hair, which usually takes forever to style. I love how easy it is to get gorgeous, long-lasting waves with minimal effort. The cordless feature makes it so convenient to use anywhere, and the results are stunning. This curler has really been a game-changer in my routine!
