TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Conditioner with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil

My hair is super frizzy so I’m constantly looking for good products to tame the frizz. I came across this TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Conditioner with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil recently and decided to give this a go. I love the pump, makes it very easy to only get the amount of product you need. I used this with the shampoo and I have to say I do see a slight reduction of the frizziness. I use the conditioner first then leave it for ten minutes and then use the shampoo. For me doing so helps reduce the product build up. So far it’s working and since it’s affordable I’d say if you have frizzy hair please give this a go.

You can pick this brand up from your local pharmacy or grocery store which makes accessibility central. You get value for money with this range as the pack size is large (940ml) and it’s $13.99 which means a small amount goes a long way. Paired with the shampoo, the range has helped with calming my frizzy hair and leaving my hair looking and feeling hydrated. My hair looks healthy which is no surprise considering the range is made from silk proteins to strengthen your hair, and argan oil to nourish and rebuilt damaged hair. Overall my hair has improved and I have noticed the frizz calm down, however I will still continue to experience frizz from time to time as that’s the nature of my hair. Highly recommend to anyone with frizzy hair. Australian made and paraben free, you can’t go wrong.

I can be quite fussy with conditioners and quite often they aren't hydrating enough for my hair but I like this one. It does the job. It's thick and smells sensational. It's really sweet but once rinsed it doesn't linger at all. I try and leave this conditioner in my hair for 3 or 4 minutes then I rinse. My hair is left feeling soft and smooth. Not frizz free but I have naturally frizzy hair anyway. It doesn't weigh my hair down at all and I just find it to moisturise my hair nicely. I'd be happy to buy this once I've finished this bottle which will last me quite a while because it's a 940ml bottle.

I've been using the Tresemme Smooth and Silky Conditioner on my short, frizzy, curly, dry hair. It comes in a large 940ml plastic white bottle with a pump top dispenser. I love bulk sized products, (unless its a product I hate), because its so much better value for money. The down side to this is that it's too big to fit in my shower caddy and has to sit on the shower floor. Other than that, I'm really happy with this conditioner. It's a white sweet smelling lotion which spreads easily, I can easily get all the knots out with my comb, and once dry leaves my hair feeling silky. It doesn't weigh my hair down at all. Pretty happy with this supermarket budget conditioner. It is made in Australia and not tested on animals.

.The size is quite generous and great value for money. I personally love a nice smelling shampoo and conditioner and this didn’t dissapoint. Some people may find it over scented but I enjoyed that. It feels very rich and nourishing. My hair felt very smooth and hydrated after using this. It also didn’t weigh my hair down like other products I have previously used. I also found that it worked well with it’s matching shampoo. Overall very happy with this conditioner as it is a high quality product available in a big size at a very affordable price point.

Tresemme again getting it right, washes out like a dream leaving my hair completely weightless and easier to manage. I would not hesitate to recommend this to friends, it’s affordable but still feels luxe. I wash my hair twice a week with this and no build up or residue. I love how smooth my hair is and find it much easier to style after using the Tresemme products. You have all got to try it out yourself. My hair is soft like butter and fragrance lasts all day. This product smells absolutely amazing but unfortunately in terms of managing the frizz, this product does not overly work. I have always struggled to find a product that helps with my frizz, so although this did not work for me, this product may be successful for others. My frizz may also be contributed to by how I dry my hair, etc. I believe by taking all the steps correctly to dry and style your hair, this product may be amazing, but unfortunately in my case, this did not work for me. I would suggest using a little bit more product than recommended.

Like the shampoo, this conditioner has a lovely smell, that lingers after you have conditioned your hair. I found it easy to apply throughout my long hair, and I combed it through my hair before rinsing with ease. My hair is long and curly, and when it dried my hair was not as smooth and silky as I thought it would be, as there was frizz towards ends of my hair. In saying that my hair often needs very intensive conditioning; and I always end up having to add in my regular leave in conditioner on my hair when it is dry. I would have liked a pump dispenser, but overall it is a reasonable conditioner at a very affordable price.

Like other supermarket brands I was skeptical in trying this conditioner but used it after using the shampoo from the same brand and like the shampoo I was surprised after using it. The bottle itself is made from recyclable material and its great for the dry and frizzy hair. The consistency is perfect and have a very fresh fruity scent. I also liked that it spread easily unlike some other conditioners I have used. I felt my hair felt really soft and silky afterwards without being weighed down and no flyaways or friziness. Overall its a great product to use with other products in the range.

I really enjoyed using the TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Conditioner. Together with the matching shampoo it definitely made my thick, frizzy, coarse hair feel noticably sleeker and smoother. The conditioner had a nice smell (kind of like a salon shampoo smell) and it was nice and thick so it coated my hair well. I've used a few expensive conditioners recently that have been thin and watery and this is the opposite – a little goes a long way! I would definitely use this conditioner again as a cheaper, more accessible option. I love that TRESemmé are using recycled plastic in their bottles, and I really love the larger, 900ml sizes which saves plastic and will last for ages. Highly recommend for an affordable conditioner that gives you a salon feel.

I used this conditioner after using the shampoo from the same range. Unfortunately with long unmanageable hair in need of a cut, I find it difficult to find hair care that improves my hair's current status. This conditioner has helped tremendously and I find it nice and soft now a few days after washing my hair. My flyaways did not improve with the silk proteins and argan oil which was a shame however did not turn me off from using this product. I had just hoped that my hair might be smoother than it was however it definitely wasn't dry and frizzy. I like that it is accessible from the supermarket so therefore there is some bang for your buck. I wish that it was more sustainable packaging for the environment but hopefully this improves in the future. I will keep using this product and will definitely recommend to others.

I have really thick curly hair and although this product smelt great it didn’t really cut it as far as moisture and providing condition. My hair is feral, first to admit that!! My daughter also used this product and it was great for her non coloured hair long hair. Would recommend for price but not if your hair is in poor condition. Bottle is a great size and good for sitting in the bottom of the shower. Smell is Devine and you don’t need a whole lot to go a long way so value for money. Works better in conjunction with the shampoo. Would be great with a pump on top to make it easier to get out instead of handling a big bottle.. worked pretty well with straightening afterwards.

It does the job and somewhat tames the hair and makes it smooth. It is a little bit heavy on my hair and makes my scalp a bit oily easily. It is kinda just the same as those conditioners in the market. It was great to try but probably will not buy with my own money. Packaging is also not so convenient because it has no pump , you have to tip over the big bottle. There are better ones with the same price point. Prefer those with pump on the bottle since it makes it so much easier and faster to get the right amount of product.

My first impression is this smells divine! If your main concern is scent, this is the conditioner for you. It feels nice to apply, not greasy or heavy, and washed out easily. I did notice it took a bit longer to dry my hair than previous conditioners I have used. My fine hair didn't feel heavy but didn't feel extra smooth or silky either, and this conditioner didn't protect my strands from frizz. The second it started raining my hair turned to a fluffy mess. This is an okay conditioner for general use, or when my favourite is out of stock, but not one I would go out of my way to purchase.

So I'm usually pretty fussy with what goes on my hair and reality is that this conditioner just doesn't quite live up to my standards but in saying that, it's actually not too bad for a conditioner that you can easily buy at the supermarket and it won't break the bank. I do have dry hair and a normal scalp. I found that it feels luxurious upon application to my hair and smells nice (I did get some compliments on how my hair smelt). I had used the matching shampoo prior to conditioning. My hair felt smooth and silky when still wet. After drying, I found that it didn't help my frizziness though. So this was disappointing as I would have through because of the silk proteins and argan oil, it would have smoothed it down.

I used TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Conditioner with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil following the Shampoo from the set. The conditioner has a light weight consistency rather than a thicker “butter”. This suits my fine hair. The conditioner was easy to apply spread around well to coat the hair. The option of a pump would work nicely for this larger container. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a pleasant “green apple” scent which is fresh and modern (no-one wants to smell like Nanna’s favourite floral toilet spray perfume!). The clean fragrance was not overpowering, and did not linger in my hair after drying. My hair is fine and thin, short to bob length, not coloured, and my scalp and ends tend to be dry. The conditioner rinsed well in warm or cold water. After drying and styling I was left with clean, nicely conditioned hair. This product serves me well to achieve clean, balanced hair with a nice bounce. My hair was silky but not overly limp and soft which is the enemy of volume for fine hair. Dried my hair as usual and no fluffy fly aways. Just clean, smooth, manageable hair. This represents excellent value for money and with the TRESemmé brand name you are definitely getting a high quality product to rival the “designer” brands that charge exorbitant prices. TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Shampoo + Conditioner with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil are equal to any luxury brand purchases I have indulged in in the past. Plus, the value for money packaging means you are consuming less plastic which must be beneficial to the environment. Having used several times since, my initial impression review stands.

I used this conditioner after using the shampoo from the same range. I was pleasantly surprised with this conditioner. I usually have to use a lot of conditioner on my hair as I have quite long hair, and it is ridiculously thick. I found I didn’t need to use nearly as much as I normally would. I found that this conditioner spread quite well on my hair and seemed to coat the hair really well. Often after rinsing out my conditioner, my hair feels coarse and almost grippy(?), I can’t think of a better word, but after rinsing this conditioner out it didn’t feel the same way. It genuinely felt quite hydrated. After drying my hair, I noticed it wasn’t quite as frizzy as it usually is either, and I didn’t find my scalp was oilier as a result. It also smells unreal - the smell lasted for days in my hair. I am quite impressed with this conditioner, and the shampoo collectively. I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to some other options.

This conditioner, like the shampoo, smells great and reminds me of getting my hair done at the salon. It's thick and glossy and doesn't run straight out of my hand when transferring it onto my hair. It left my hair well de-tangled and feeling smooth after rinsing. However, my hair wasn't as 'silky' as I was expecting after letting it dry, which is a little disappointing - it wasn't super frizzy or dry, but just not super smooth (for reference I have a natural wave/curl but by no means super curly or frizzy hair). Although the conditioner didn't smooth my hair a lot, it did leave it feeling light with plenty of volume, not weighed down at all. I would still definitely recommend this conditioner based off the scent and bang for buck.

I really enjoyed using TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Condition with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil. I did not need to use a lot of this product to cover my hair. I did not need to leave the product on my hair for very long before being able to comb through my very long and thick hair. The product had a very nice perfume. The conditioner paired nicely withTRESemmé Smooth & Silky Shampoo with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil. I would recommend TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Conditioner with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil to anyone with dry and frizzy hair.

I used the conditioner following the shampoo . Both have a great silky texture and it smells fantastic! My hair is dark, long, straight and normal and frizzy on the roots with dry split ends. I only needed a little bit for the ends . It will leave your hair smelling amazing for many hours. But unfortunately it made my hair look dull, even dryer for some reason and lifeless. I was hoping for a super shiny, non frizzy, malleable and soft hair and it didn't help me achieve these results. It gave a great volume to my hair, which I liked. Please note, your hair type probably have to be very dry to use this product. Mine is normal on the roots and dry on the end. It didn't help much with the look of split ends either. I have been using vegan, all natural shampoos and conditioners free of sulphates and parabens for a while now, and that is probably also the reason why my hair didn't adapt to this formula. I wish the bottles were fully done with a better and more sustainable material than plastic, also don’t love the design of the bottles at all. If you want your bathroom looking good You probably won’t go for these products. I honestly won't purchase this product in the future.
