Tom Ford White Suede

My mother was a big fan of musk so I love it because it reminds me of my childhood, but it seems like musk has gone out of fashion lately.  Musk hasn't disappeared completely, but it has taken a back seat in modern perfumery in favour of the more predominant floral/fruity scents which are currently popular.  White Suede brings musk back front and center and I couldn't be happier!  I wasn't quite expecting such a lovely musky scent with the name White Suede, but as soon as the musky scent registered in my brain, I was flooded with those wonderful childhood memories and had to have it.  Although I feel that it could be a divisive scent in public (must be a reason why no one is really doing musks anymore!), it's my cozy cool weather/bedtime/wear around the house scent - one I wear just for myself and like it that way because it's a deeply personal scent for me.
