Thanks to Nature Anti-Dandruff Scalp Scrub

Not what I was expecting. The scrubs I’ve used before had sand like grains but this on had big chunks of salt and unfortunately I’m not a huge fan I found it hard to get the big chunks to get through my hair and onto my scalp, plus as per the instructions they want you to keep putting water to dissolve the salt but I found that the salt chucks would fall off my head and onto the floor before they dissolved. I did however love that it really lathered up. I was worried that the salicylic acid would dry out my hair but it didn’t so that was great. Unfortunately due to the hard to use salt chunks I may not purchase after I used it a few more times if I do notice a difference in dandruff then maybe it would be worth it again.

I actually really liked this product . I loved the packaging so simple and easy to read also love that it natural and against animal cruelty . I used this 4 times and I absolutely loved the lather it gives with such a small amount also love how it feels like it’s really cleaning my scalp it feels great after I was it out too only thing I didn’t like was the rock salt in it was very big and they kept falling out of my hair so I couldn’t dissolve them. Not for me, I have very long hair and I found this difficult to use. It was like hard tiny rocks scrubbing my hair and found it hard to completely wash them out and also ended up all over my bathroom an effort to wash out, most exfoliants for the scalp are tiny beads and they also break down under warm water. I didn’t notice any difference after using a few times either or did I feel very clean if anything it made my hair dryer. The tub was quite small and only lasted about 3 times with my thick hair

Thanks so much for the chance to trial this Thanks to Nature Anti-Dandruff Scalp Scrub. With visible product build up on my scalp and some flaking I was on the hunt for a solution! I use this scalp scrub once a week in place of my shampoo and then use my normal conditioner. It’s handy that it’s a shampoo and scalp scrub in one. It comes packaged in a 150ml plastic tub making it very easy to use and apply. I simply worked this pleasant smelling scrub into my scalp using small circular motions. This is a great scrub that cleaned my hair and my scalp. The only thing I would change about this scrub is the size of the sea salt pieces it contains that provide the exfoliation. The salt pieces are too big and this makes the texture difficult to work with. A lot of the salt pieces fell to the bottom of the shower before making it to my scalp.

I was excited to try the Thanks to Nature Anti-Dandruff Scalp Scrub. As someone who experiences a dry scalp and product build up, a scalp scrub can feel wonderful to thoroughly cleanse. The scrub has quite chunky pieces of salt in it – it took a couple of goes to figure out how best to use the product so that it lathered and worked into the scalp with ease. Applying the scrub onto wet hair, with wet hands and continuing to add water as you go helps break down the scrub and get it into the scalp where you need it. It has a light, pleasant scent that I enjoyed. After using this product for a couple of weeks in place of my regular shampoo, I definitely noticed my scalp felt much cleaner – any product build up was removed. I also noticed that my scalp wasn’t as dry or flaky as it can be in some areas (behind my ears for example and at the nape of my neck). My scalp felt soothed and it wasn’t itchy in any areas as it can be at times. My hair didn’t feel stripped while using this product – it left my hair feeling healthy and comfortable. The scrub rinses out easily and doesn’t leave behind any residue. Overall, I think this is a great scalp treatment to have in your hair care rotation for when you need it.

I’ve never used an exfoliating shampoo before but this Nature Anti-Dandruff Scalp Scrub is a game changer. It has really changed the way my hair and scalp look and feel as the granules themselves are not too course, but still course enough to give a really good exfoliation and clean. It’s really helped to clear up and manage my dandruff to the point where it’s hardly noticeable anymore. I found this shampoo scrub very easy to use and washed out of my hair very well too. I love that it’s made from naturally sourced ingredients as well as being vegan friendly and paraben free.

This dandruff and scalp scrub has a lovely, fresh scent that is not overpowering. It lathers really nicely and doesn’t tangle up my hair. I haven’t struggled with dandruff recently but it does feel like it helps to soothe my scalp and refresh it. The downfall of this product is that it has large pieces of salt that do not break down easily, and get spread throughout the shower, and which I then step on. Additionally, I would prefer the scrub to come in a pump bottle for easier access and use rather than the tub it comes in. To be honest, I never try scalp scrub. I'm interested in this product and got a chance to try it for free. I read on the instructions, "small amount" , as I have long hair, I just dig a little bit more. To my surprise, the product just making lots of leather sud and even the salt in it melting away. So i learned from my mistakes. Trust the instructions. Just small amount is enough. I still have over half of the product after a month. It's actually very good value. I will try another product from Thanks to Nature. Love it.

I was selected to take part in a trial of Thanks to Nature anti dandruff salt scrub Thank you Beauty crew! I get itchiness of scalp quite often and my husband gets dandruff so we both trialed this product for a few weeks. It had a nice fresh scent that isn’t overpowering. The salt scrub consistency is quite course with chunks of rock salt in a gel. It can be difficult to apply, at first we tried rubbing it together and then applying to scalp but you lose half of it this way so best to apply straight to scalp. I like to add more so that it does really foam up. I would recommend being gentle when scrubbing as the salt rocks are quite sharp, I think the product would work alot better if it was more grainy/less chunky. After using the scrub both my husbands and my hair felt really clean. I wasn't getting the usual itchiness that I do after washing and have continued to use the product every second wash to help prevent build up.

It's been so nice having a scalp scrub that effectively decreases dandruff. Thanks to Nature Anti-Dandruff Scalp Scrub appears to look like a hair mask but actually replaces shampoo. I used this product twice a week and found my dandruff has decreased significantly. The salt exfoliates my scalp, it doesn't feel as itchy and I don't have to worry about visible dandruff anymore. I do suggest rinsing the product thoroughly with water after lathering to remove all the sea salt to achieve the best results. Overall it's been a massive relief for me using Thanks By Nature Anti-Dandruff Scalp Scrub, I feel more presentable and it's boosted my confidence at work and social settings significantly. This makes my hair absolutely squeaky clean, I'm addicted and almost want to use it every day, but obviously I don't. I wouldn't say it's the easiest to use as the salt pieces are just far to big and course so they usually fall straight off my hair or get stuck in my hair. I ended up taking it out of the container and blending it a little bit to make the salt a bit smaller. I absolutely love the smell of this product too! I find working in sections makes it easier to reach the scalp, especially if you're a long haired girly. My only wishes is that the packaging was bigger because I'm obsessed and the salt was a tiny bit finer. I love using this product and then rinsing my hair in cold water, just absolutely makes my hair incredibly clean! Definitely recommend this product!!

I received Thanks to Nature Anti-Dandruff Scalp Scrub to review as part of Beauty Crew’s Review Crew. I have thick hair however hair strands are fine and it’s currently a little damaged from bleaching. Thanks to Nature Anti-Dandruff Scalp Scrub is a shampoo + scrub together in one. The first thing I noticed was how amazing much this product smelt. It has large pieces of salt which is supposed to dissolve when lathering but I just found that they all fell out of my hair. Whatever product remained in my hair was easy enough to lather and rinse. It does cleanse the hair well, but perhaps a little too well as my hair felt quite tangled and knotted. Even using with conditioner and a deranged my hair was very hard to brush after washing. I wouldn’t recommend this product for those with damaged/dry hair like myself, so I wouldn’t continue use until my hair is healthy again. In saying that, it does what it’s supposed to, just not suited for me.

I often get a build up of psoarisis and the flakeyness from that, around my hair line, nape of my neck and in spot areas around my scalp. I really loved how this product really got rid of the build up from my psoriasis, without stripping too much moisture from my scalp and making it worse. I really felt it helped manage the symptoms of my psoraisis, leaving my scalpt norished and clear of build up. I've never tried the Thanks to Nature range before, I'll happily be trying out more of their stuff, especially at such a great price point.

The Scalp scrub had a really pleasant and refreshing smell, not overpowering which was nice! I find that my hair goes oily within 2 days of washing, however since using this product, it was oily the next day, which I found annoying. The texture itself was nice, however I did find it had some larger pieces of salt in the scrub which felt like it was 'scratching' or 'irritating' my scalp at times, which was another point down. I found it harder to wash out of my hair, mainly the larger salt pieces, which could also have made my hair oilier, quicker. Overall, an okay product, but I don't see myself buying it again in a hurry.

Love love love this! I was dubious to use as it was quite thick. BUT! Using in my scalp was amazing. The scrub is effective but not harsh. I use every few washes for that deep clean feel but it is gentle enough to use every wash. I feel quite literally squeaky clean after using. My hair felt soft and super clean afterwards and there was no residue or built up product left behind. There is a nice - non overpowering smell and the deep clean feel is amazing. I would totally buy this and recommend to anyone.

I received this product as part of the review crew. Unfortunately it did not work for me or my hair. The packaging is a tub. The tub wouldn't be my preferred packaging-. I think a tube would work better. I found the tub quite messy and it's easier to waste product. This product also dried out my scalp and made my scalp itchy. The positive is that it lathered well and did smell nice- it is scented like fresh cucumber which I did like. I could only use it the once due to how dry my hair got from it. Perhaps it works for those with more oily hair types. Thank you allowing me to try it!! I can't comment in terms of its anti dandruff claims as I only used it one time.
