Swisse Bio-Retinol 0.5% Vitamin B3 10% Renewing Booster Serum

I bought this serum because it had 10% niacinamide in the formula, and the 0.5% Bakuchiol and 0.2% Hyaluronic acid was a nice bonus. I also liked the fact that it was fragrance-free and made in Australia. Niacinamide is a great ingredient as it has multiple functions including minimising the appearance of pores and fine lines, brightening and strengthening the skin barrier. The product is poorly named a 'Bio-Retinol' serum when it has no retinol at all. Like some other 'natural' companies, Swisse are using misleading marketing and promoting bakuchiol as a better alternative to retinol. Bakuchiol is a great antioxidant, but it has no relationship to retinol at all - they actually work well together. Brands should in fact be promoting both bakuchiol and retinol not one over the other. Ignoring the issues with product name, it is a good serum. It comes in dark glass bottle with a handy pump. The serum has a milky appearance and is like a thin liquid gel that feels hydrating and absorbs quickly. Sometimes I get a bit of tingling applying this after a shower, but it goes away quickly. I don't have sensitive skin in general but my skin has been a bit more irritated with the use of strong retinoids. The niacinamide in the formula does seem to balance my skin which tends to be dehydrated yet has congested pores. Overall, it is a pleasant and affordable serum with good ingredients.

I love this serum! I used it in conjunction with the Bio-Retinol Renewing Night Cream and Polypeptide Renewing Sleep Mask and it was a very close favourite to the sleep mask. I used it nightly after cleansing and toning, and sometimes during the day if my skin was looking extra sad (thank you, winter!). It has a mild, pleasant scent and is non-irritating. I love the texture. It’s not oily or sticky and absorbs nicely. I use two pumps and find it sufficient to do my face, neck and décolletage. It instantly hydrates and plumps my skin, and since using my skin has been firmer yet softer, a healthy, youthful “spring” to it. I believe using it with the night cream and sleep mask has boosted the effects noticeably, but I would also gladly use this by itself if not using the night cream and/or sleep mask as the instant results are very positive. I found my fine lines and wrinkles have reduced in severity (I look less annoyed thanks to the softening of my forehead lines) and my skin feels smoother and more even overall. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a non-irritating serum to use every day to reverse and prevent the effects of ageing.

Must say this is an amazing product! One of the best serums I have used until now. The skin feels so hydrated when you apply this serum and it stays hydrated throughout the night. You wake up with a dewy look on the face. I used it along with the night cream and polypeptide mask from the same range. The whole kit really made my skin more clean and hydrated. I would definitely recommend my close ones to include this product in their skin care regime. If one wants to keep their skin feel hydrated and fight against skin ageing, then this is one good product to give a try.

The Swisse Bio-Retinol 0.5% Vitamin B3 10% Renewing Booster Serum is an amazing all rounder serum with niacinamide and retinol. I love that it is gentle enough for daily use at night and settles into the skin nicely. After use for nearly a month, combined with other Swiss products, I found that my skin was plumper and more hydrated. I started using the product when I was sick and had dry patches and flaky skin around my nose. With use of this serum combined with moisturiser, my eyes patches were gone after 2 days (thanks to the niacinamide!). Overall, a great and affordable everyday serum that sinks into the skin quickly and applies well under moisturiser. Great for hydration , especially during winter!!

I really liked the Swisse Bio-Retinol 0.5% Vitamin B3 10% Renewing Booster Serum. It’s an awesome product. I used it in my night routine and by the morning my skin still felt soft and hydrated and it did not dry it out overnight. I like the consistency of the serum. It works very good with the night cream. This product worked really well with my skin and overall I think it’s great and would purchase it again. I only found out about this brand through beauty crew so thank you for introducing me to these products.

I absolutely loved this product made me skin feel absolutely amazing So much product comes out in one pump I have started my skin care journey and I will definitely keeping this one in it It works amazingly along side the night cream which is also an amazing product. This retinol keep my skin so hydrated and feeling fresh for the morning I highly recommend trying out this product. I was so surprised that a cheaper brand could be this amazing but just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune on great skin care

I love this serum and love that its readily available and Australia made. It was gentle on my skin and caused no irritation or dryness. I also liked that there was no sticky feeling. The ingredients are ideal as I find B3 a great ingredient my skin now that I'm in my 30s and without question retinol is essential for fine lines and makes my skin brighter. I recommend this serum for anyone wanting to prevent the side effects of aging and give their skin a healthy boost and glow. The price point is fantastic when compared to other similar products on the market.

The Swisse Bio-Retinol 0.5% Vitamin B3 10% Renewing Booster Serum is a thin milky serum with a soft herbal scent that is barely noticeable and quite pleasant. The main benefit of this product for me was the niacinamide (vitamin B3) which works well on my temperamental skin to prevent breakouts and reduce the leftover marks from healed acne with almost overnight effects. A massive pro of this product is how quickly it dries down on the skin, and unlike other niacinamide products I have used in the past, it leaves NO sticky residue. Once dry (1-5 mins), the skin feels softer, and concealer can be applied straight on top of it without issue. The packaging is a luxurious feeling brown glass bottle with a pump, which I believe would protect the product from degrading with light or air. I much prefer this option over a dropper, and the pump is easy to control to dispense the perfect amount of product. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to a friend, provided that their skin reacts well to niacinamide. I imagine this would also be an excellent starter product to introduce niacinamide to your routine for the first time, given the lack of excess nasty ingredients. I am very happy with this product and would re-purchase in the future!

I was very impressed with the Swisse Bio-Retinol 0.5% Vitamin B3 10% Renewing Booster Serum and I highly recommend it! After using this product every night for a few weeks noticed my skin feeling and looking more refreshed and had a glow. My skin definitely felt more smooth, clear and hydrated. I have noticed my skin texture has improved. This serum is light with a great consistency, it is easy to apply which I love and it has a nice smell. This serum absorbs into my skin nicely. My dark circles under my eyes have improved as well as acne scars. I can’t wait to see more results. This serum is definitely a winner for me. I will continue to use this product.

This serum was a lovely light addition to my night time routine. A quality and consistent product that makes for a great entry level serum. Super hydrating and doesn't feel heavy or greasy on the skin. Absorbs nicely when paired with the other Swisse night products. Is lovely and light and good for sensitive skin. I found my skin felt plump and hydrated the morning after using the serum. I found the scent quite light and not overwhelming. Over all would definitely recommend this one as a basic serum to have on your beauty shelf.

This serum feels really nice and light! I’ve been using it in combination with the Swiss skincare range of products and have gotten really good results - my skin is clear, my blackheads have cleared up in the last few weeks and I don’t have any pimples. My skin feels refreshed and soft. The product smells nice but the smell is also not too strong or overpowering. The serum absorbs without any oily feeling and my skin just feels calm and fresh afterwards. The product also has enough viscosity that it’s not thick and gluggy but also not too runny. Very easy to handle and apply. I like that it has vitamin B3 niacinamide and bio-retinol, acting similarly to Vitamin A. I have somewhat difficult skin and ageing skin, and this product has worked really well for it. My skin is also sensitive and some products disagree with it but this serum was good. I recommend using it with the range but I imagine it would be good on its own too. I definitely recommend!!

This is such a good serum! I rarely notice obvious effects in my skin tone after using skin care products, particularly those in the lower price range, but with this serum I noticed softer, smoother, more even and brighter skin almost right away when used along with the Night Cream. I think this product is great value for money, and a great way to get the positive effects of retinol without the harsh side effects. I would recommend this product to anyone who is too afraid to try retinol products!

This serum was ok. I have been using over the counter retinol products for a while and found that this wasn't as strong or effective as other retinol serums avaliable at the chemist. I also found the consistency quite sticky and it didn't absorb too well. It left my skin tacky and sticky and I still felt it on my skin after applying creams. The product is slightly milky in texture and has a very slight herb-like scent which isn't too bad. The smell fades almost immediately after applying. I didn't see any improvement in wrinkle, dark spots or hydration. I do have dry skin though, so this maybe more suited to normal skin types.

This product feels so good on my skin it's not sticky it sits well under makeup It has made my skin feel very soft and radiant The product is very hydrating I'm quite suprised in short amount of time using this product I've seen a huge change in my skin I've seen fine lines disappear Blemishes decrease and my skin simply feel 80 per cent better than it ever has with any other product My skin has never felt so soft so smooth so healthy it is very revitalising and the comments I have received I'm clearly not the only one seeing the difference

I started using this swiss bio retinol booster serum last month. The Swisse Bio-Retinol 0.5% Vitamin B3 10% Renewing Booster Serum leaves your skin feeling and looking refreshed and younger. This Swisse Renewing Booster Serum is made with scientifically proven active ingredients that have been shown to reduce the appearance and prevalence of dark spots, fine lines, pigmentation and wrinkles. The serum is nice and hydrating, silky and easy to apply. I applied it every night before bed. I have definitely noticed a reduction in the appearance of a more even toned and glowing complexion while using this serum. I would highly recommend this serum to everyone. Please give it a try

Swisse Bio-Retinol was received, packaging the standard Swisse styling, nothing fancy. The pump itself easy and functional with enough product being distributed with a pump for the face and 2nd for the neck and chest. Huge tip do not forget your neck and chest! I generally use a retinol in my beauty night process, so was great to compare this product with previous ones. The standout for Swisse is the texture isn't think or sticky perfect for layering out products. The results were very similar to other retinols however my skin didn’t seem to dry out with the swisse product which is a huge bonus. It may have contributed to the night cream in which was the following step which had a cream consistency which made the application of the two together easier, and didn’t feel like I was wiping off the retinol by applying the cream. The two sat nicely on top of one another. The twice weekly mask was also trialled with the two previously mentioned Swisse products, I felt this thickness of application of products on MY skin was a bit much and felt sticky heading to bed in it. The next morning I did also feel the residue wash off my face and did absorb as well as just the two retinol & night cream. All in all I would highly suggest the Retinol and Night cream for an everyday night routine!

after using this for just one week I noticed how bright my face looked. I also have pigmentation and it made its appearance lighter. the texture of this is also very smooth and very easy to absorb in my skin. it was very hydrating, this was great as my skin can be very oily at times so my skin was not left looking very wet and oily. the product also made the dry parts of my face really smooth and I was left with a brighter smother and overall nicer. I've also noticed changes to a lot of my wrinkles as it has made them not as visible whilst still being there

I’ve tried a few different serums and surprisingly this is one of the best. I normally have dry skin and my skin soaked this up. Easy to apply and a little goes a long way. After trialling this product for about a month with the night cream and mask my skin was brighter and smooth. I usually get breakouts every month but have not had a single breakout as yet which is incredible. I love the packaging and the easy to use pump. Often with serums it is a dropper device which can be messy and awkward to use but the pump is great and makes things much easier. The labelling is also great, simple and easy to read. When I think of Swiss I normally think of vitamins but am really impressed with their range of face care especially when there is so much to choose from in the market. Will definetley spread the word and buy when I get low

For this serum it is full of goodness such as bakuchiol ( vitamin A alternative) 0.5% . It’s scientifically proven to have similar benefits to retinol without the harsh affects. It also has scientific level 10% visibly improves skin texture & tone , reduces the appearance of darkspots, finelines & wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid 0.2% instantly hydrates& plumps skin. I love how packaging has a pump which helps control dispense product quantity and it makes it easy to use ! I have been using product for about 3 weeks now and it has made my skin looks plump and healthy glow! It targets pre mature aging , dark spots , and wrinkles.

I was very excited to trial this product, the natural ingredients offerred an alternative more harsh serums. I found that it was easy to apply, but did feel slightly sticky after applying which meant you need to wait before applying any other products. While I defintely found that it gave my skin added mositure and a smooth finish I do not believe it had much impact on my fine lines and uneven skin tone. I did enjoy that I was able to use it each day and it was not harsh or drying on my skin as some other retinol serums can be.
