SkinB5™ Purifying Mask

I suffered from acne badly for most of my life until I got my skin care sorted out properly. As I don't have easy acne at the time of testing this product it is hard for me to say if it is effective. It did cause one pimple to break out after use so I think it may work well as a treatment for acne but I don't recommend it if you have normal skin. My skin is normal with a tendency toward dry on occasion and I have tone and texture issues. I'm 39 years old and only really cared for me skin properly in the last couple of years. I quote likes the texture and feel of this product, as someone with sensory issues associated with ADHD I am very fussy about that. The product didn't have a strong smell and it applied nicely. Overall I would say it's worth a shot if acne is a problem for you, but probably steer clear if it isn't.

I don’t usually use clay-based masks as I find them a little less user-friendly than other types of masks, but I was open to trying the Skin B5 Purifying Mask on my Winter-ravaged skin to see if it helped soothe and replenish my skin as promised. I swapped out my usual mask for this one and wanted to see how I went. The tube was a perfect size and it was very easy to dispense the desired amount into my hand. I felt a bit of a tingle, which is always good! Washing it off was less exciting, as it was a bit messy and I struggled to keep things clean, particularly with splashback onto my top and into my hair (oh no!). I feel like the sink isn’t the best place to use this, but might leave it on for a little longer in future, maybe during a soothing bath for a bit of extra pampering.

Love this mask! Reminds me of being at a day spa. I've used clay skin masks in the past and always found them very drying on my skin. This product felt quite moisturising which surprised me. I've oily sensitive skin which is prone to breakouts and i really found this mask a great addition to my skin care regime. I used it once or twice a week and left it on varying anytime from 5 mins to 20mins. It said on the bottle you could use it with your liquid foundation but I didn't try it out in this way. Not sure how it would mix with my foundation and sit throughout the day. Smells great! Great product, worth the buy!

This is a nice mask. I do not have acne-prone skin but I tend to get pimples ever so often. This mask is easy to spread and rinse off with warm water. Also, it has a nice mild scent. I used this mask by spreading it all over my face and leaving it for 5 minutes and then rinsing it off with warm water in the shower. My skin felt smoother and I my pores looked less noticeable. Also, my skin felt tighter and clean when using this mask. This mask provides a good refreshing feeling to my skin. Overall, I like this mask.

I could not believe that a purifying mask that helps to clear the face can also be hydrating. I am so used to all the cleansing masks drying up and making a mess when trying to remove them. Since I have dry skin that is prone to breakouts and reacts to every weather and environmental change, then I need to take care of it regularly. I usually treat myself with a face mask once a week when I have a bath. I apply it on a clean face, relax in the bath and let the mask do wonders. It was so easy to wash off after and it left my skin smooth and clean. It also removed the oiliness from my skin and left it much more balanced. On two occasions, I also used it as an overnight spot treatment but unfortunately, it did not seem to make much difference as the pimples were still there and had not dried up.

The SkinB5 Purifying Mask comes in a 100ml tube with a flip top lid. The colour of the mask is similar to foundation/skin colour. It smells zesty. Your supposed to leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing off but my mask isn't dry in 5 minutes. So I leave mine on for around 15 minutes and by that time it's completely dry. You can tell that the mask is dry when your face feels tight and it becomes a little hard to talk or move your mouth. I personally love this feeling as I know the mask in working. And when I look in the mirror the pores on my nose have oil coming out of them from the mask sucking all the oil and impurities out.  Prior to using this mask if I got a pimple they would always be really big and juicy or they'd be big painful blind pimples underneath the skin. Now if I get a pimple it's small and clears up in less than a day after I've applied the mask. Once I've rinsed the mask off with warm water my skin feels so soft and looks plump and after continually using this mask twice a week for a month the pores on my nose are less clogged and my overall complexion looks so much better. Not only that but this mask also hydrates my skin so well too which I wouldn't expect from a mask like this. It's absolutely fantastic and is definitely something I will be telling everyone about. I will be a continual repurchaser of this product and look forward to also trying other products from SkinB5.

I was very excited to try this. Although I don’t have an acne issue I do get a few during my period so it was the best time to try it. I used it as a spot treatment and left it overnight and when I woke up the redness was totally gone and so did the swelling. I also used it as a face mask and my skin felt super soft and amazing with just one use. I will be using this every week. My husband has an acne prone skin so I got him to use it as well and he loves the results. His face is smoother and doesn’t have much oil clogged in his pores anymore and the acne issue is totally under control thanks to this.

I got this clay detox mask as part of the Beauity Crew. I do use masks regularly but this one brought out a pimple between my eyes :( I kept using it and the pimple did not heal any quicker than if I did not use it. The grey mask was easy to wash off my face. I love that it is Australian made. My skin is feeling smoother now that the dreaded pimple has left my skin. Other ingredients are French green clay, Great Barrier Reef minerla salt and Vitmain B5. This mask is suitable for all skin types. Now that I have use it for two weeks, I might let my teenage daughter use it and see what she thinks.

I used this purification mask few times already. I used it as a primer as well as a mask. As a primer it went on my skin pretty smoothly and kept my makeup in place the whole day. Once I removed my make up my face looked really clear and not dry. Used it as an over night mask since I had a few breakouts due to pms and it managed to keep my face glowy and reduce the redness and the appearance of the pimples over night. If didn’t dry out my skin like other acune products do. Anyone with acne prone skin should give this a go.

Was lucky enough to trial this product as a Beauty crew member. I normally do not look at masks as part of my routine however gave this product a go last night after my shower and sweaty boxing class. This morning my face feels nice and soft and actually detoxed as the bottle says. I have been having random acne breakouts last week which is rare for my 46 year old skin however my pimples feel like they are responding and smoothing, unlike drying when I use pimple treatments. Would use this a few times a week to detox my face. Thank you Beauty crew for choosing me to trial this. Had never seen this brand before in the shops so will look into more of their range. It only took 5 min and was not messy or cakey to dty.

When I used to have oilier skin this is a product that I used to help me get it into control. It was so effective, I bought a heap of their other products too. This masque can be used daily if skin is super oily with blemishes - it helps to mop up the oil and balance the skin and soothe and calm the blemishes. I even joined their club! I do think this is this brands' star product and I can highly recommend it to those with oily/oily-combination or even just blemish prone skin. This helped me heaps and my skin looked much better for it. It seems to have ingredients that work for the skin and are not at all harsh. It can be rinsed off after wearing it. Pores are refined and look beautiful after using this mask as well . I recommend it highly. When my daughter started suffering zits and oiliness I got her onto this range as well. I love how it makes such a difference and even takes the redness out of the spots.
