Skin Republic Vitamin C Mask

I love a sheet mask and I love these sheet masks. They are cheap and effective and deliver great glow and plump to the complexion. I like to use them before bed and wake up looking like I’ve had a long weekend full of decent sleep or before applying my make up if I’m going somewhere special.

I've never actually heard of this brand until I received this mask in a recent Marie Claire Ageless Parcel. I was very excited to try it as it claims to reduce freckles , pigmentation and brighten skin. Most products don't specifically mention freckles and I'm always left to wonder if what I'm buying is right for that purpose as I'm always on the look out for something that can help fade and reduce them. The mask itself comes in a foil packet and is a thin white sheet mask which is quite soaked with liquid and there is also quite a bit of excess left in the packet once it has been taken out. I found this mask fit my face well which was surprising as I usually struggle with sheet masks either being too small in parts or ridiculously oversized. It also has slits for adjustment so should fit most. I found it quite lightweight and comfortable to wear for the recommended 25 minutes and it was also gentle and non irritating unlike many I've used. Once removed,  I rubbed the excess moisture into my skin (you don't wash it off) ,and waited a few minutes for the stickiness to absorb .My skin was feeling much softer and looking brighter and more toned. While I was happy with these results ,I was even happier the morning after. When I got up that day, instead of seeing my usual dull and tired looking morning skin, I saw hydrated, glowing and  vibrant skin! I was really impressed! It felt so much softer and toned as well. While I cant say its solved the freckle situation, I can definitely say my skin was more even toned in general . The pack does say it has best results with an initial use of one mask a week over 4 weeks and I have already purchased more to see those results as I am so impressed with the results of the one time use.  Even if it doesn't solve my pigmentation situation,I am happy with the brighter, more even and healthy looking skin it definitely does provide! Pros Brightens and evens skin tone Fits face comfortably and is non irritating Contains an array of skin and pigment fading ingredients like vitamin c, Mulberry,Bearberry and licorice (I've previously done way too many hours of research on this,and these are some of the best !) Cons I really cant think of any. This is a great mask for all skin types Id recommend this for all skin types but in particular those who want more vibrant, healthier looking skin and those (like myself) who hope to reduce and prevent freckles and pigmentation as this has a combo of the best ingredients proven to help with that

Love these masks, used one last night while watching Presto.  I love how they hydrate my skin, I used this last night prior to putting on my night cream, my skin felt really good this morning, soft, supple, refreshed.  I recommend these masks to everyone, they are a no mess no fuss way to look after your skin without any effort, just pop one on while watching your favourite show, after 15 to 20 minutes, remove it, pat the skin to ensure any leftover serum has soaked in, follow up with either your daily SPF moisturiser, or night cream depending on when you use it, no strong off putting scent is an added bonus.

This is the first sheet mask I have tried and I love it! it felt really nice, cool and refreshing on my skin. There was a lot of left over serum in the pack which I spread down my neck. My skin is a little dry, especially my under eye area and I have a lot of fine lines under there and every concealer I have tried (and I've tried many) settle into those lines no matter what I do and how much I moisturise. The following morning after using this mask my skin was much plumper, and those lines under my eyes which give me constant trouble were noticeably better and my concealer sat much nicer!!! I've only used it twice so far so can't really comment on long term results, but my skin felt hydrated and looked brighter after using this mask. Will certainly repurchase and would like to try some of the other sheet masks in this range.

I have really bad dark circles under my eyes, and I find this mask has really helped to lessen them. Recommend it

This was one of my first face masks and it has now become my go to face mask. The mask fits nicely on the face and provides a soothing and moisturising feel. After 15-20 minutes, I was able to see results of brightness, less red spots and a more even skin tone. My face and skin felt fresh, hydrated and glowing. The product doesn't have a distinct scent and wasn't irritating on my skin and I will definitely continue using this product.
