SIMKA Cooling and Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Facial Mask

This mask stands out from anything I’ve tried before. The hydrogel material offers a level of comfort that fabric masks simply can't match; it adheres seamlessly to the skin and stays in place without the constant worry of it slipping off. The cooling sensation it provides is incredibly refreshing, making it an excellent choice for post-treatment care. I can easily imagine how soothing it would be following needling, chemical peels, or even a sunburn, thanks to its gentle, fragrance-free formulation. Although it delivers a light level of hydration, it isn’t the most hydrating mask I’ve encountered. This is likely due to the minimal excess essence both on the mask and in the packet. However, this slight drawback doesn’t overshadow the mask’s overall effectiveness. It’s particularly beneficial for soothing and refreshing the skin after various treatments. Overall, I find these masks to be a fantastic addition to my skincare routine, especially for post-treatment scenarios where they truly excel.

A big plus is that it didn’t cause any pilling when I applied makeup afterward, which makes it great for pre-makeup prep. Overall, it's a good mask for de-puffing and light hydration, but if you're seeking deep moisture, you might need something more hydrating.

Oh this mask is absolutely delicious! My skin has been a little dry and irritated recently and this was the help my face needed. The packaging is nice and simple, you get a few masks in each pack. The mask is beautifully cooling, feels like a calming gel sheet on your skin. My skin was left feeling beautifully soft, bouncy, and absolutely refreshed. I've tried before makeup for a big event, and my skin/makeup application looked absolutely flawless. Highly recommend for skin that needs a little tlc and a whole heap of hydration!

This SIMKA Cooling and Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Facial Mask was a great way to hydrate and my skin. It was good to know that the masks are vegan, cruelty free and can be used for all skin types and they also don't have added fragrances. I popped the mask in the fridge for a few minutes before applying it, and after just 30 minutes of wearing the mask, my skin felt remoisturised, and had a radiant glow. The serum absorbed nicely, without leaving any sticky residue. I would recommend it to my friends and family because this mask will blow their minds!

I’ve been having some difficult skin after having my baby. Constant pimple flare ups, dryness and overall lack luster appearance. So I was excited to try this mask both as a self care moment and an sos skin saviour. I am also a huge fan of sheet masks. I used it before an event and found it helped set up my skin perfectly. It was easy to use and fit my face. Once I took it off I felt the serum needed a little longer to dish in but it did so pretty quickly. I felt some plumpness and hydration came back into my skin and helped create a great base for my make up for the day. I did love using it and would put it as a treat face mask before a big event.

I trialled SIMKA Cooling and Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Facial Mask as part of the Beauty Heaven Trial Team. I have been using one mask a week for the past month paired with a retinal serum as the masks claim to help serums soak in. I have been very impressed with these masks. They feel really lush and thick and are easy to put on. Once on they don't slip around and they contour nicely on my face. They have left my face feeling really soft smooth and hydrated with a noticeable difference around my eyes and my fine lines there. These masks really do have a cooling affect and in summertime they would be extra refreshing kept in the fridge.

This is a luxury sheet mask. The mask feels very high quality and only has two ingredients, water and cellulose. I used this after some dehydrating plane travel to help my skin restore some moisture. It fit my face fairly well, but I did have to manoeuvre it around and stretch some bits. After the 30 minutes, it felt a shame to throw it away! The mask doesn't lose size or feel dryer, but I don't think this is for reuse. However, $99 for 4 masks, especially one that focusses only on hydration and not other benefits, is too high a price for most.

Absolutely loved this face mask! I’ve used a few face masks before from various brands, but SIMKA’s Cooling and Hydrating mask has to be one of the best I’ve tried. My face felt immediately hydrated and noticeably smoother and less flaky from dryness, which I suffer from unfortunately, due to the acne cream I’m using. On the topic of acne, I found that this face mask didn’t irritate my skin and there were no side effects like redness or itchiness, which I was slightly hesitant about as I always am when I put something new on my face. The mask was easy to apply and didn’t leave a sticky residue. Light, hydrating and left my skin with a holiday glow even though I haven’t been on holidays!

My weekly self care ritual just got better! I love to give myself a facial at least once a week and this has made it feel that much nicer and elevated. Scent free, made from water and Cellulose once ive removed the protective layer from each side I place the mask over my face smooth out all areas. Soaked very well I leave it on for 20-30 mins and my skin is left feeling intensely hydrated. I also used one after having a microdermabrasion, I popped the mask in the fridge for a few minutes before using and found it immediately cooled my face post treatment whilst soothing and hydrating it. Paired with the SIMKA Alpha Omega-3 Soft Gels this is the best my skin has felt in cooler months for a long time. I don’t have near as dry skin as usual, my skin has retained hydration and moisture for longer and it appears to have a more natural glow and healthier appearance. Definitely would repurchase again and recommend this to my family and friends.

So cooling! Even without refrigeration and even after being on the skin for half an hour, it doesn't warm up, it gets colder than when first applied. I didn’t find an improvement in my skin, unfortunately, just basic level hydration immediately after, so I would like more for the price point. Please don’t leave it on too long, as the mask will completely dry and you’ll need to peel it off your face. Very watery so can’t smooth excess product in packaging onto your face, neck, or hands which is a shame. Hugs the skin which is a big plus though, so it won’t fall off or slide around if you can’t find the time to lie down.

A simple, refreshing, no nonsense mark. Simka Cooling and Hydrating Bio-cellulose mask is the perfect recovery mask after any irritation whether it is a clinical treatment or just a little bit too much sun. It's also the perfect pick me up for dry, tired skin. The masks were easy to apply, moulded to my face and felt instantly cooling. There is no fragrance and it felt so lovely I didn't want to take it off! My skin after felt deeply moisturised and had a wonderful glow. I have some skin irritations and seasonal allergies and this mask helped cool my angry patches. It was also a lovely treat for my tired winter skin.

I was excited to try the SIMKA Cooling and Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Facial Mask. Whilst I found this product a lovely self care treat whilst using it, I did not see great benefits from use. I also found the masks to be a little ill fitting around the nose area. Also, as opposed to being hydrating, it was a little drying on my skin for some reason and noticed I had a few small yellow spots appearing within a day of each use, which I do not usually suffer from. Based on my own experience, I would not be buying this product again, nor would I recommend it to my family and friends, which is unfortunate as I was so excited for much more positive results.

Easy to open soft foil pack, the bio cellulose face mask comes folded easy to open it is protect buy blue gauze with makes it easy see which part to throw away. Once open I then place onto my face and smooth it out which is easy to do. Cooling on my skin I find it really comfortable to wear reccomened to wear for 20-30 mins I set and forgot mine and had it on for just under a hour. Once removed most of the serum had absorbed into my skin, my skin was left feeling so smooth, soft and really hydrated. I can easily see myself incorporating this into my weekly skincare routine, I can’t wait to pop this into the fridge for a few minutes before use in summer as I get a really hot and red face when it’s really hot and can imagine how soothing, cooling, hydrating and relaxing it will be. I like how I can also incorporate my actives prior to application for added absorption and benefits of the actives and mask, for me that is retinol which I find an awesome added benefit. As the mask is super hydrating, I found incorporating it into my weekly routine helped plump my skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines. I will be buying again and highly recommend.

From someone who suffers with rosacea on my cheeks and chin this product has helped so much. I constantly get flare ups of my skin, usually these symptoms are redness, flushing of the skin and my skin is hot to the touch. The face mask stopped my flare up in its tracks! I will be curious to use these in summer and see if they have the same cooling effect. These face masks stopped each flush as they were soothing and cooling. I will definitely be purchasing these face masks again. I love them!!!! They are amazing.

Refrigerate for a few minutes before applying for the ultimate cool down. They’re my favourite sheet mask to date and I would definitely get them again and recommend them to friends.

Who doesn’t love a face mask? I know I love one, and I especially loved the SIMKA Cooling and Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Facial Mask. I have very dry and eczema prone skin, this winter for the first time the eczema actually reached my face which was just awesome but chucking on some of these facemasks after a day of been in the dry cold air was a life saver! The day after use my skin felt hydrated and refreshed, clean and soft. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone suffering from the extreme winter dryness, or who loves their face to be fresh and hydrated. Also works a treat after having a good cry – the red puffiness is gone in no time!

This is the McLaren among the facial masks. I did not expect a mask to surprise me so much! I have sensitive and dry skin that is struggling during winter months and when the air-conditioner is on 24/7. Hence, everything I apply to my skin has to be super hydrating. I am used to sheet facial masks where the mask itself is so flimsy and dripping of product that even getting the mask on the skin is a big hassle. SIMKA's mask though, is nothing like that. The bio-cellulose mask is so thick, absolutely nothing drips, it is so easy to apply and most importantly, it stays on with no issues (doesn't slide off the face). To reduce the puffiness and tiredness signs, I popped the mask in the fridge for a few minutes before applying it, then left it on for 30 minutes and lo and behold, it does wonders. My skin was so fresh and felt like I had just stepped out of a beauty salon. My skin was bouncy and hydrated and looked beautiful. I would recommend it to everyone who likes to treat their skin because this mask will blow their minds!

Overall, these masks are great to have on hand, and would really shine in a post-treatment scenario.
