After a lifetime of various sports.. hubby's feet are a touch sensitive these days (read wimpy) - so he always uses these insoles.  Even in his fancy new Sports shoes.. in these go.  Apparently the extra cushioning is great for his knees and he feels "bouncier" (his word not mine). He tends to go through a pair every 3-4 months.. Not sure what the life expectancy is on these - but thats what he experiences. End result = great extra cushioning and comfort for the active man!
