Schmidt’s Certified Natural Deodorant Spray Lavender & Sage

I recently tried Schmidt's Lavender & Sage deodorant and I was blown away by how fresh and floral it smelled! It was like I was walking through a garden of lavender. It made me feel so calm and relaxed. I also love that it is a natural deodorant, so I can feel good about what I'm putting on my body. I also love how long lasting it is compared to other deodorants I’ve tried. It kept me dry and smelling fresh all day long and I can wear it everyday without having to worry about any harsh chemicals. I highly recommend Schmidt's Lavender & Sage deodorant!

I don’t normally go for aluminium free deodorants as I was growing up I felt they weren’t really effective in preventing the sweaty smell. Lavender generally isn’t my preferred scent, but I feel that the sage balanced out the scent and I didn’t mind it too much. The weather has been quite warm lately and using this deodorant has been somewhat of a pleasant experience, some deodorants can make my underarms itch but this has not done that so far. Keeps the sweaty scent at bay, I would probably prefer something a little less scented however. I would recommend to someone looking for more of a natural option or wishing to try a spray instead of roll on.

The scent is soooooooooo strong and over powering I hated it.. I felt like I smelled like a grandma or I had rolled in a lavender bush. It also left me feeling really sticky and wet I have used many natural deodorants before and I have never experienced this issue before. I usually opted for a roll on natural deodorant and fine that they don't leave my under arm feeling sticky and wet they tend to dry pretty quickly and leave me feeling fresh all day. I would not repurchase this particular scent of natural deodorant. I found that by the end of the day I smelt a little bit sweaty mixed with lavender which wasn't that pleasant. I did however like that it wasn't tested on animals and is cruelty free which is a big draw card for my purchases. I may try some of the other scents as they seem to suit my smell preference a little better. But overall this scent was not for me.

This is the first natural deodorant I've tried that actually works and doesn't irritate my armpits. I simply spray two quick sprays each morning, and I stay dry (!) and stink-free all day. I am totally shocked, because all other natural deodorants I've tried haven't stopped my sweating or smelling gross. As a bonus, the lavendar and sage scent isn't overwhelming, and mellows over the day. I like the spray nozzle/can, because it means that compared to other natural deodorants you don't have to get your fingers and hands dirty scooping deodorant out of a pot.

I have extremely sensitive skin and also struggle with extreme sweating, so it’s safe to say I’ve tried almost every deodorant under the sun. I was pleasantly surprised with this one - for a natural deodorant, it was just as effective as most non-natural on the market. The aerosol can was easy to use, the packaging was pleasant and I had no reaction to the this product at any time. It did the trick with sweating, keeping me fresh, and left no marks or residue on any of my clothing. I would absolutely repurchase. The only downside for me was the scent - I tried Lavender and Sage, which was strong and pleasant enough, but not my kind of fragrance. I am keen to try the others in due course.

This was an interesting trial, and I was surprised with the outcome of this deodorant. When first applied I braced myself for that burn when you use an aerosol deodorant and was surprised that I was met with a cool mist. I received the Lavender and sage scent which I didn’t really like as I tend to stay clear of lavender. Although I did notice that after a few hours the initial strong scent dissipates. The deodorant did work well on the cooler days but needed reapplication by mid-day during a hot day in Perth. I loved being able to use a deodorant that had natural ingredients and I noticed that there wasn’t any weird build up that you sometimes get with aerosols. The packaging is cute, and the size means you can easily slip it into your purse. In conclusion, I would recommend this for cooler days but not hotter sweaty days.

I'm normally a roll on girl as I feel like the product is on me. I've used this spray for 3 weeks now and have not noticed much. It's light and airy. The smell is ok, I'm not a fan of lavender so it was good the smell wasn't so strong. I did use this product over hot days but did not notice anything different by the end of the day. The only difference I've noticed is I don't have to wait for the deodorant to dry before putting on my t shirt. I can just spray and put my clothes on. I have noticed it has all natural ingredients and free from aluminium. Great that it's economical friendly to the environment and free from synthetic ingredients to our bodies.

I have tried many 'natural' deodorants in the past and have given up and reverted back to traditional deodorants as they ended up being messy, ruining my clothes or not working. I have never tried a 'natural' spray deodorant before. Pros: This product wasn't messy or sticky. This product didn't ruin my clothes. It actually works which is the biggest plus of all! I even wear it to the gym and do high impact workouts. Cons: I wasn't a fan of the lavender scent. It doesn't smell bad but it reminds me of a more mature age group. Fortunately the scent fades quickly or I stop noticing it so it doesn't interfere with my perfume. I noticed that this deodorant made my underarms sting a lot if I shaved prior to applying. I have had to switch to shaving the evening before to make the stinging less intense. I have never had this issue with any other deodorant. Would I use it again? It is the most effective and least messy 'natural' deodorant I have ever used. So yes, I intend to purchase it in future but try a different scent that is more to my liking. I will also have to shave in the evenings to minimise the stinging but that's not a deal breaker.

This deodorant smells really good. I love that its made with essential oils and free of aluminum. It doesn't leave any residue on your clothes. The only downside of using this product is if you sweat a lot, you might have to reapply it again. It smells fine but it's just a fragrance spray. I don't think there's anything in it combat outdoor, break down bacteria, etc. It just masks it, and it doesn't last very long. I do like the spray. It has 0 residue.. and it smells great! The only downside is if I apply it then go workout/sweet a lot I have to re apply.. but it’s so easy to apply I don’t really care about that! Great product I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to your stick I love this spray so much

I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I know two things for sure. I am extremely disappointed and very angry! Let me start off saying I unfortunately did not read any reviews about this deodorant until now, and I feel unwise for not doing so. I started using this deodorant a week ago, and within a day or two stared getting symptoms of an itchy burning sensation!!! I didn’t think anything of it, until the next day after work. My pits were on fire and itching so badly, so I went to place a cool towel into my armpits. The very image of my pits scared the heck out of me! It looked as if I gotten chemical burns or some type of allergic reaction going on! I don’t even know! My armpits were NOT that dark and damaged looking before using it! I am terribly saddened and will NEVER use this product again. Seeing by the looks of others reviews, I guess I’m not the only one experiencing their pits doing drastic changes, and not in a good way. :(

This product smells absolutely LUSH in my opinion. I love lavender ! But it also doesn’t stay as long as regular deodorants sadly. I have to re-apply more regularly than I typically would with other products, I prefer the smell to linger but that’s just me! It’s great on sensitive skin. I love the idea of natural deodorants and I have tried other brands which I won’t name and they smell awful , this scent is gentle and actually quite pretty. I think if I were to switch from regular deodorants to natural this would definitely be the number one brand on my list!!

I’ve used natural deodorants before and this one is pretty similar to the others I’ve tried. Some things I do like about this product is the packaging is very nice and I also really like the way that it sprays. A lot of regular deodorant cans are very strong and can cause white stains however schmidt’s is very gentle. I also like the idea of natural deodorants overall. What I didn’t like was the scent, I usually enjoy a sweeter or more citrus smell so I am definitely not opposed to trying some of the other scents as they seem like something that would suit me more. Overall I would recommend this deodorant brand to people and as for the scent, I personally wouldn’t purchase it again but I I know many people that do love lavender scents and would recommend it to them.

This was the first time i used a natural deodorant like this, I've used roll ons in the past but this was really cool and different. it was a bit weird because naturally i wanted to shake it but you don't, and i like that it was all natural and good for the environment i didn't like the sage smell but I would gladly try others in the range, but my partner liked it, i felt like the sage was really really strong and bit too much. it didn't feel horrible on my skin when i sprayed it and it lasted all day even with the horrible hot days Sydney has been getting.

I received this product as part of a trial and used it for 2 weeks. Personally I am not the biggest fan of lavender, although my sister really liked the smell. I found the scent to be a bit too strong when I first sprayed it on, and it faded really quickly. I would only wear this deodorant on days where I'm doing light activities cos it definitely does not last 48 hrs. However, I like that its made of natural ingredients and is not tested on animals. I have really sensitive skin so it's always nice to not worry about whether my skin will have a reaction.

Besides being eco friendly this deodorant feels absolutely amazing on the skin. The smell is beautiful and isn’t overpowering or off putting. One squirt doesn’t put to much in one spot and doesn’t leave any white marks which is a bonus for those darker coloured clothes This deodorant withheld the Queensland heat and an energetic 3 year old who doesn’t stop so no need to worry about sweating a the beautiful deodorant smell will stay for the whole day I highly recommend this deodorant and this will definitely become one of my favourites

I've never used a natural deodorant before, so I went in with a fairly open mind. Upon first impression, this deodorant has quite a strong scent but it's not too overpowering, which is good for those who are sensitive to smells or wear a nice perfume already. I would recommend to people who are interested in using natural deodorants, but I probably wouldn't purchase again as I prefer the outcome and experience of my normal roll on deodorant. The reason being is I exercise heavily and find that this deodorant did not last very long. Perhaps on a lower energy day this might work? Who knows!

The packaging is very cute and compact however the Schmidt’s natural deodorant had a very strong lavender and Sage scent (and I don’t have a great sense of smell) and made it quite hard to breathe for a little bit. Other than the scent being too strong for me, the deodorant sprayed nice and evenly. It also felt drying on the armpits when you first spray it but after a half an hour, I started to sweat again (however the weather has been horrifically humid and sticky in QLD). Overall, I personally would not buy the product due to the scent and duration of the deodorant.

This is the first time I’ve used any Schmidt’s product, so I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m very happy! It’s unique and elegant, which goes well with my favourite perfume. I’ve always used a different brand of deodorant but now I’m happy with Schmidt’s and considering making the switch! I love the smell, how it makes me feel throughout the day, and how it’s also grease-free and non-sticky. I only need to apply once in the morning and that’s enough to keep me clean and fresh smelling throughout the day – no need to reapply. Thanks for the trial product, loved it!

I thought this was a lovely deodorant. It is lavender but doesn't smell like a grandma. I didn't notice any body odours after using it (i have had issues with natural deodorants not doing much in the past). Does well as a refresher spray too. Would be interested in trying other scents as I don't usually go for a floral scent. Did not try long enough to comment on deodorant stains, however, didn't leave deodorant marks on my clothes. Packaging is nice an neat, not too large and the aresol spray was nice to use.

This is a great 'beginner' product for eco deodorant. It is not offensive and smells really strong like other chemical aerosol deodorants. I did have to reapply on a very hot and sweaty day! And I brought it in to the office and it was fine. Do not have to worry about setting off any fire alarms or offending other people with the smell. Smells fresh and keeps me feeling clean. The best thing for me is that I know it is not harming my skin or the planet. Would be nice to have this in a roller ball or a mousse/cream version similar to Native Deodorant like a paste as I prefer that texture for eco deodorants.
