Schmidt's Certified Natural Deodorant Spray Sandalwood & Citrus

Trialled this product as part of Review Crew. I was really hoping to love this product but unfortunately was left disappointed. Definitely didn’t like the scent. I found it very overpowering initially, but quick to disappear. Product was easy to apply with a little sticky/powdery feeling after applying, although less that my usual aerosol deodorant. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel this gave me very good BO protection during sweaty workouts compared to my usual deodorant. It was good for daily use, but I wouldn’t purchase again.

I was given Schmidt's Sandalwood & Citrus deodorant to trial and I'm so glad I did! It's a natural deodorant, so I don't have to worry about any harsh chemicals or ingredients on my skin. It's also gender neutral, so it works for both men and women. The woody aroma and zesty citrus is a perfect combination that smells amazing. The packaging is nice and the nozzle is good as the spray comes out perfect - light and Misty. It’s fast drying and keeps me feeling fresh and odor free all day long. I highly recommend Schmidt's Sandalwood & Citrus deodorant - it's a great product!

Was excited to try this deodorant as I usually don’t stray from the big brands. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the fragrance as well as the longevity of the product. I have given 4 stars instead of 5 as it didn’t last as long as I would have liked but still impressed. I noticed I got approx 6 hours of wear before feeling like I needed to reapply during the day, keeping in mind this is in the middle of summer and I live in central west NSW. This deodorant has held up against 35 degree weather so gains a thumbs up for that. I recommend this product for anyone looking for a fresh and clean feel and scent. The packaging is simple yet effective and hints towards the fragrance of this particular deodorant.

I was excited to try the Schmidt's Natural Deodorant Spray with Sandalwood & Citrus scent. As I'm increasingly interested in products with eco-friendly technology (ozone friendly propellant) and practices (not tested on animals/certified vegan product). Positives: - Overall, the technology and formula of the deodorant is positive. This product did not leave white residue on my clothing/underarms and lasted for the duration of my 12-14 hour shift. - Considering Schmidt's is utilising new ozone-friendly technology, the nitrogen propellant surprisingly provided an even and light mist and dried quickly after application. The mist was a nicer application method compared to other generic deodorant which need a decent shake and direct application for use. - Convenient size and ability to "lock" the nozzle is handy for travel. - Unisex scent Negatives: - My partner absolutely hated this scent; even after I applied the deodorant in the bedroom he reported it lingered for hours afterwards. The sandalwood scent overpowers the citrus scent. Although it's great to have a unisex scent, it may not be favourable or too overpowering for some. As this is the only Schmidt's Natural Deodorant Spray I have used, I'm unsure if other scents are this strong. The technology/application of the product was great. If someone enjoys the strong scent of sandalwood in their home and on their body all day - this is the product for you. If not, perhaps look into the other scents available.

A decent natural deodorant. This product left me feeling fresh! The formula was non-drying and non-irritating, leaving my underarms feeling moisturised during the day! The nozzle releases a fine mist which also prevented irritation. The scent is more subtle than most non-natural deodorants however the staying power can be improved. You will need to reapply throughout the day. Overall, would rate this to be a decent product however if you require a stronger deodorant I would suggest looking on the market. On the other hand, if you are after a lighter product and have sensitive skin the this natural deodorant is for you!

When I saw this was an all natural deodorant, I was pretty excited to try it out! The first thing I tried out was the scent. I was happy to see it had sandalwood in it as I typically go for perfumes with woody scents. However, I did feel like the citrus/orange scent kind of overpowered any hint of sandalwood scent in this. I didn’t find the scent too overpowering though, and it didn’t linger for too long. I tried this out during some pretty hot, humid days in Queensland. When you first spray it, the product feels quite light and a little wet to touch, but doesn’t take long to dry down. I felt like it did a pretty good job at keeping the sweat away, so I will continue using it although I think I’d prefer one of the other scents.

Besides being eco friendly this deodorant feels absolutely amazing on the skin. The smell is beautiful and isn’t overpowering or off putting. One squirt doesn’t put to much in one spot and doesn’t leave any white marks which is a bonus for those darker coloured clothes This deodorant withheld the Queensland heat and an energetic 3 year old who doesn’t stop so no need to worry about sweating a the beautiful deodorant smell will stay for the whole day I highly recommend this deodorant and this will definitely become one of my favourites

I was excited to try a natural deodorant however this one left my underarms stingy and didn't fend off my sweat well in the Sydney humidity. Whilst the packaging was nice and I appreciated the lock top design, the 'no shake' aerosol was confusing. A strong, powerful spray is my usual preference for any aeosol product and unfortunately this one was the complete opposite. I love the idea of sandlewood and citrus for a candle but not for a deodorant. The scent combinationwas overpowering and did not mix well once you started to sweat. Overall I found this product to be okay.

What a great addition to their product family! I love the natural list of ingredients and the packaging design — the fragrance was a nice alternative to the others on the market, especially not being the common “linen fresh”. The spray was easy to use and I felt that it helped minimise sweat and smell but I would like to try it before a hard workout session to test its effectiveness and durability. In terms of white spray I noticed it did leave a slight white mark when I first used it but realised I had sprayed too long

I honestly didn’t know what to expect because I wasn’t familiar with sandalwood but what a new and refreshing scent! The combination with citrus gives this deodorant a fresh, natural and somewhat earthy feel to it that just makes it smell so subtle and clean. It’s a great little sized can too, and perfect for my bag. It’s now permanently in my gym bag as it’s a cute little travel size and I can very easily take it with me to my workouts and reapply after my shower. Super handy and effective, highly recommend!

I really wanted to like this deodorant. Having sensitive skin particularly in the underarm region I have tried many natural deodorants in the hope of finding one that keeps up with my busy and active lifestyle while supporting my sensitive skin needs. Unfortunately this was not it. I am a huge citrus fan and love woody scents but found this one almost over powering sadly - almost like a strong male perfume. The scent aside I wanted to test this would work for me. The weather in Sydney has been extremely humid of late and unfortunately for just my normal day of running around for work (not even including my sweaty gym sesh!) this just didn’t cut the mustard

It smells like perfume and feel fresh all day and its long lasting. I apply less quantity of it as it’s a strong natural scent. And to be very honest, I would say it’s a deodorant that actually works. It keeps me smell good through out the day and important part, does not leave a white mark on my clothes. Also, it didn’t feel too gritty in other words sticky or greasy. I love the sandalwood & Citrus scent its really calming and since I have used deodorants in the past, trust me this is the right choice. It will keep you fresh throughout the day without any stickiness or marks.

I was excited to try a natural deodorant but I just didn’t love this product. The smell is quite strong, lasts a long while but it does remind me of insect repellent. I didn’t mind the smell too much but it is strong and noticeable. I also didn’t find that the product was as effective as my normal deodorant, I felt sweaty after a short period of time. The cost is also quite high and with how it sprays I feel that it would not last very long and I don’t think I would be able to justify the cost.

Not a fan of this Schmidt's natural deodorant spray sandalwood & Citrus. It was super strong, and the smell was not pleasant. I attempted to use this on multiple occasions however it was not great. I sprayed it before I went to bed I couldn't sleep because it was very potent. I liked that there is no artificial and no aluminium salts however it was not the best one I have tried. I would continue to try other natural deodorant until I find something that’s good. When it sprays it sprays a lot out which made it harsh on the skin. It did not protect well through sweat either which is unfortunate.

I like the fact that it is a natural deodorant and does what it claims to do, however the smell is quite strong and irritating to the nose and I am not a huge fan of it either. I like the size of the bottle and the packaging. It has a good spray. Packaging is nice and simple, product is very easy to use. Spray nozzle works well. Size is good for the price. Does the job. Helps me stay fresh. Good to try but probably would not purchase again. Can find others that work better and smell better for a more decent price.

Sandalwood & Citrus is an interesting scent for underarms. I don’t mind this scent however in this deodorant, it was more sandalwood then anything. It’s a strong masculine smell that didn’t seem to budge all day. I’m not sure if mine was faulty, but the spray didn’t spray probably, it was going in all sorts of directions. It’s a little sticky and wet to begin with then dries down nicely without leaving white marks. I really like the lockable lid, perfect to throw into my bag without worrying about it leaking. Price is very affordable for a natural deodorant. Besides the scent and some what faulty nozzle, I honestly didn’t mind it. It worked really well and felt confident throughout the day. This scent isn’t for me but I will try the other scents.

I was so excited for this one as I have been on the look out for a vegan, natural (no aluminium) deodorant for a long time now with not a lot of success. The bottle is really nice and presentable and on the smaller side which means it is good for everyday use as well as travelling! Upon first use I was impressed with the application, no need to shake and a proper mist which is cooling and has good coverage and was not a paste! My under arms did't feel sticky or as though there was a lot of unnecessary product under my arms. It also didn't leave any marks on my clothes which is a huge plus as many Deodorants leave a film on my clothes I sampled the sandalwood and citrus one which - the scent I was not a huge fan of but would happily use the lavender or rose one (not a lover of sandalwood), there was very little citrus in the scent. If this could be balanced out a bit better, it would improve the smell of this product in particular.In terms of keeping me smell free it was amazing - its not an antiperspirant which is great! humans are supposed to sweat. I didn't feel like I smelt at all and didn't need to re-apply at all, I will certainly be buying it again as it worked really really well - I'll just be buying a different scent. It is nice to see the industry progressing to take out nasties from the products and making sure they are all animal friendly.

For a deodorant I think it works quite well for me. The place where I lived is quite humid lately so I was happy to give another deodorant a try since I haven’t been happy with other brands As for the smell, I kept trying to like it and thought I would get use to it, But unfortunately I couldn’t get use to to it. Normally the scents I buy are floral scents and this isn’t the vibe for me. I would definitely buy the other scents to trial them out since it was the only issue I had with this deodorant :) very happy with Schmidt’s natural deodorant once you find the scent that suits your personal preferences.

I'm a fan of natural scented products. At first I was a bit afraid that the Sandalwood would be very overpowering but it ended up being quite pleasant to wear, my partner even started wearing it too because he liked the scent. I wore this for a few weeks as my deodorant and I like how long it lasted for me. I'm someone who sweats a lot and I do like to have strong and long lasting deodorants and this didn't disappoint. My only concern was that it did sting my underarms a couple of times but I'm not sure why.

Honestly, I can’t fault this for what it is. Yes, it’s just a natural deodorant and not an antiperspirant but this is one of the best I’ve used, and I’ve been using natural deodorants for years now! I felt that it somehow kept me feeling more dry than other natural deodorants I’ve previously used. Due to the spray nozzle this makes for easy application as opposed to some I’ve previously used that are in paste form. This deodorant also did not leave any white marks on my tops and I wear black shirts 5 days a week! The scent was fresh and perfectly balanced between strong and subtle. I am keen to try the other scents in this range.
