Schmidt's Certified Natural Deodorant Spray Rose & Vanilla

I have been using the cream version of Schmidt's Certified Natural Deodorant Rose & Vanilla for a long time (it is my favourite natural deodorant) so I was interested when a spray version was released. Overall I do not think it is as good as the stick version as it does not smell as good and does not last as long however I did find that it works wonderfully for de-smelling jackets and other dry clean garments (anyone who wears dresses and jackets should know what I'm talking about). It doesn't leave a residue or cause discolouration and kills the smelly build up forever. I keep a can in my cupboard for this purpose alone. As a deodorant it does also create some heat (like a spray burn) so was not amazing for my sensitive arm pits.

The high level of essential oils in this deodorant burnt my skin. My underarms broke out in a rash almost immediately after use and my skin began to peel. The lavender version of this deodorant doesn’t seem to be as bad, but the skin still burns after use. Even after all of the burning it still didn’t do a very good job at masking any body odour. Quite disappointing as it is hard to find spray deodorant which is aluminium free and doesn’t leave your clothes stained. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone who has sensitive skin.

If you're a rose scent person I feel like you will appreciate this deodorant. I found once you sprayed the deo the scent to be very strong, however as it settled I came to really like it. I enjoyed trialling this product and putting it to the test. On days when I am not at the gym it worked a treat. On days when I was at the gym I did find myself towards the end of the day to be smelly, however that happens to me using a regualr deodorant. I did like that this deo is natural and makes me feel better about myself to apply this over a regular deo.

I was extremely impressed with the Schmidt's Rose & Vanilla Natural Deodorant spray! The scent wasn't too overpowering and it was such a nice scent. I was very surprised at how long this deodorant lasted as well, usually I do have to reapply my deodorant during the day as I have quite an active lifestyle and an outdoors job, however I sprayed in the morning around 6am and it still lasts until my evening shower around 6.30pm/7pm. I highly recommend this deodorant to anyone looking for a natural alternative or even anyone who doesn't care about the natural aspect to it, it is a great product regardless! Being completely natural is just an added bonus in my book. I will certainly be purchasing this brand in the future, that is for sure!

Schmidt's Natural Deodorant Spray Rose & Vanilla tops all of the natural deodorants I’ve ever tried! The fine mist spray is so unique. It doesn’t come out harsh at all, like your traditional deodorants. Instead, the Schmidt Deodorant Spray is dispersed as a gentle mist that feels lovely on the skin. The Rose & Vanilla scent reminds me of Turkish Delight sweets and I love floral/sweet scents, especially for summer. The packaging is cute and sturdy, and I really like the twist lock as it’s been great for travel. The fact that this deodorant is recyclable, ozone-friendly, not tested on animals, and all-around better for the planet, makes this a new favourite deodorant! Really appreciate brands looking out for the environment.

Schmidt's Natural Deodorant Spray Rose & Vanilla is a sweet pretty scented deodorant that I found fragrances but not overpowering and would compliment the usual types of perfumes I would wear. The packaging is similar to most aerosol deodorants that you would be used to but, dispurses the product in a much lighter gentler mist which was soothing and ensured youre unlikely to cause any chemical reactions to the skin. It lasted a long time and even states it provides 48 hours protection which is unique in its longevity. You are able to layer the product for added protection throughout the day without any uncomfortable residues. Although the price point is a little bit dearer in comparison to other retail deodorants, the quality of the product is worth its value. It was overall a good product and I will be likely to buy this again and try out different scents available in the range. Also would recommend for friends and family to give it a go.

Gorgeous scent. So sweet and calming. You can smell the scent instantly when you spray. It’s almost as good as perfume. It’s quite gentle on the rose, vanilla is the more dominant scent. It is a nice feminine scent. Sprays really nicely like a fine mist. Which is also a nice cooling effect for these hot summer days. The spray isn’t as intense as other spray deodorants. So you don’t feel like you need to hold your breath while the spray settles. I haven’t used natural deodorant before but was amazed I couldn’t tell the difference! Worked really well; held up during my workout sessions. Would purchase again. It’s quite a big bottle too, it would last a long time! I would suggest this to my friends.

This deodorant performs better than many other natural deodorants on the market. A great option if you're wanting a natural deodorant, it does help reduce odour and sweat. However, it has a strong smell that is not neutral and will be unlikely to suit a lot of people. Unfortunately, however it does not compare to non-natural deodorant's which last longer and perform better and does not work well for hot and humid summer days. I received this product as part of the beauty review trial, but would not rush to buy it myself.

This was my first time trying an aerosol deodorant that was certified natural before. I’ve had natural deodorants previously but they tend to be stick form and left white marks on my skin. I liked using the Schmidt’s deodorant as the spray form meant it was invisible on the skin. The compact size and lock functionality also allow it to be great for travelling to and from the gym or work. I removed one star as although I don’t mind the rose scent and it was nice it’s quite strong personally for me.

This was my first time trying a natural deodorant and I don’t think it will be my last. Whilst I didn’t think that it offered the protection of my normal supermarket brand I enjoyed trialling it- the scent is floral and refreshing but some people may find it too much and want to find a more neutral scent. I think this would also be better suited at avoiding stink, rather than keeping you from sweating as conventional deodorants do- so if I’m just hanging around the house then it definitely does the job! I received this product as a part of the review crew however I would definitely be interested at exploring some of the other scents in the range as well.

I am super impressed and really liked the packaging, the twist and click system is smooth and made to last, however I did not find the fragrance very enjoyable at all, which is a disappointment, considering I had high hope for this product. It smelt slightly nice for a micro moment before turning and making me want to shower and change. I trialed this spray over about 2 weeks with hopes It might grow on me however I just can not like it as much as I would like. I like the concept, I just think the scent needs a bit of work.

One of the best trial products I’ve received! What a brilliant combination rose and vanilla. I never would’ve thought that that was a scent that would smell good as a deodorant as I thought it was more for rooms and areas, and not on the body, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it leave me smelling fresh, but I felt fresh and clean throughout the whole day. Even after going to the gym, I haven’t felt sticky or damp under my arms which is fantastic. I will definitely be buying a can once this one runs out!

I wanted to love this. The packaging is super pretty and i love the fragrance. The scent of the spray itself is really fresh and floral and is absolutely divine, both my husband and mum commented on how nice it was. The fragrance itself lasted for ages, but in terms of preventing body odour, it just didn't have the longevity for me to want to use it again. I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant and extra sweaty, but I felt like I had to reapply every few hours because I could smell myself. Gutted because I really wanted to love this product, just doesn't suit me!

I really didn’t like the smell of this. I tried to persevere and keep using it anyway but couldn’t. It was very strong, super sweet and a little bit sickly. In terms of whether it worked, yes it did! I’ve been hesitant to try natural deodorant as I was not sure it would work well but it definitely did the job! Was super dry and not oily or left any residue. No white marks or crumbling either. I will regift to my sister on account of not loving the scent. All in all I wouldn’t purchase or recommend.

I didn't mind this deodorant. I've recently needed to change brands as my normal roll ons weren't doing the job anymore. I'm glad I received this to review because it not only smelt great (which is funny because I'm not a big vanilla fan personally) but kept me feeling fresh all day and the smell wasn't overpowering at all! For its price, I would definately buy again and recommend! Would love to test out the other scents in future to find my favourite one. I would also love to see if they have any cream based anti-perspirant or roll on type methods.

This is my first time trying a natural deodorant and I can say it has been an absolute delight to try this product. The packaging of the deodorant is super cute and can fit in my handbag which is an added bonus. The smell of the rose and vanilla was a bit too strong for my liking as I am not a floral scent type of girl though. However I did receive a lot of compliments that I smelt nice, as I applied the deodorant spray only and no perfume! One spray of this product gave me amazing coverage for my armpits unlike traditional deodorant sprays where I would have to apply two to three sprays to get full coverage. I would happily purchase this Schmidt's natural deodorant, but for me personally I will try another scent.

This product is great if you enjoy the strong rose scent. The natural formula holds up throughout the day and is fast absorbing, non sticky and leaves no white residue. The bottle is also a great size to throw in your bag or travel with as it can be switched off. The scent of this deodorant lasts all day which is great if that’s what you like but if you wear perfume this may clash with other fragrances. I personally wasn’t a fan of the rose and vanilla scent and don’t see any of the other scents in the range working for me either. If you love natural scents than I would recommend.

At first glance you would expect this to be as all the deodorants. I think for the natural market the first glance should be a little more prominent. When spraying due to the the natural components the force is a light spray and needs to be held closer to the body in comparison to an aerosol can. The smell for me was too candy and not refreshing, the smell once mixed with sweat was more masking than preventing BO. I think if you are a medium to light sweater the deodorant would be sufficient however for medium to heavy this wont be the coverage to last the 24hrs.

Besides being eco friendly this deodorant feels absolutely amazing on the skin. The smell is beautiful and isn’t too overpowering or off putting. One squirt doesn’t put too much in one spot and doesn’t leave any white marks which is a bonus for those darker coloured clothes. This deodorant withheld the outback heat and 2 kids who dont stop so no need to worry about sweating, and the beautiful deodorant smell will stay for the whole day I highly recommend this deodorant and this will definitely become one of my favourites.

I was really looking forward to trialing the Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant Spray in Rose and Vanilla, however I was extremely disappointed in this product. Lets start with some positives, the spray is a really nice spritz. The Eco-spray with ozone friendly propellant is not a really hard spray so no white marks which is awesome. Also I like the fact you don’t have to shake it, although that did feel weird the first time. The scent is incredibly strong and I honestly found it really irritating and overpowering. I felt like I had put on half a bottle of perfume after just one spray. I also felt continually wet. When I use a deodorant, I want to feel fresh, dry, and clean but this made me feel wet and gross. I tried this multiple times and every time I washed it off after about half an hour and applied my normal deodorant just to feel normal. Definitely not for me.
