Revlon Professional Restart recovery restorative micellar shampoo

I recently trialled this shampoo and I have been quite pleased with it. The micellar formula feels gentle on my hair, which is great because I can be sensitive to certain products and have fine hair and a dry scalp. Plus, I can feel a noticeable difference in hydration after each use and my hair looks healthier and glossier. The 250ml format in a single unit is also handy, as it tends to last for some time. I think this product is suited to finer hair given it is very gentle but the effectiveness would vary from person - it is definitely worth a try at the price point.

I received this product as part of the Beauty Crew. I have quite thin and fine hair and coming out of winter, my hair has been feeling a bit dull and dry, so this shampoo was a godsend. The texture of the product itself is super creamy and it lathers really well, which means you get a really nice clean feeling without your hair feeling stripped of moisture. I loved how nourished and soft my hair felt after this. The smell is also lovely and sort of salon-esque, which is a nice touch. Another thing I like is the bottle shape and thickness, which makes it really easy to squeeze out the product.

As someone with natural roots and an oily scalp with bleached, drier ends, it is difficult to find a shampoo that isn’t too drying or too heavy. The Revlon Professional Restart recovery restorative micellar shampoo gives a good balance of cleansing and nourishing. It has a nice fresh scent that isn’t too overpowering, and left my hair smelling lovely and feeling clean *and* soft. However not too soft that it was difficult to style. It works well with the matching conditioner. Overall it’s a really nice shampoo that leaves your hair and scalp nicely balanced.

Revlon Professional Restart - recovery restorative micellar shampoo, is hands down the best repair system I have found so far! My hair is chemotherapy regrowth, almost shoulder length, curly and bleach blonde! The first time I used the 4 step system my hair curled like a toddlers, soft, no frizz, squeaky clean & a few good gold tones less! I always shampoo twice, 1st to lift, 2nd to rinse and this is one of the only shampoos that doesn’t leave my hair feeling like straw! I will continue to use this product!

This shampoo is good however I do prefer other salon quality products over this one. Not that there was anything bad about it but nothing to really rave about either. I like to feel like my hair is squeaky clean with absolutely no residue left over and this didn’t give that luxe feeling. Cost wise I’d be happy to pay a bit more to ensure I’m getting a great quality product due to my hair being coloured regularly it’s really important that I don’t skimp on the care. That being said I like the bottle and it’s a good middle range shampoo. I would say if you want something a little higher end than a drug store product this will work.

Overall a great shampoo. Since using I've noticed my hair appears stronger and healthy, and also remains lovely and glossy for longer than it normally does. The product is a really nice consistency and paired with the restart recovery restorative micellar conditioner the pair felt like lovely treatments for my hair. I normally suffer from a sensitive scalp so sometimes trying new products doesn't work well for me, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this wasn't the case! My only comment would be that is does take slightly longer to lather than other products but this wasn't a major concern for me. Would recommend!

I recently got to trial this shampoo and got it as part of the set. I found it to have a nice, quality smell to it, it washed my hair pretty well, it didn’t lather as much as my regular one does and I found it didn’t keep my hair fresh for as long. My hair did feel super soft and luscious and it definitely did not dry it out, especially after I had just had it professionally bleached. This is a great product, especially when looking for something more travel friendly, it washes and styles really well afterwards, I just prefer my regular stuff when compared to this.

As an Asian with very dark brown natural hair that has been bleached many many times to get to platinum blonde this shampoo was so nice and nourishing for my hair. The only bad thing to me was that the fragrance was a little strong for me (I have really sensitive skin - most people would say it’s a good thing) but other than that I loved this shampoo and conditioner set, it made my hair feel so nice and soft. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a new shampoo and conditioner set. Oh but don’t forget about the sealing drops! They made my hair feel so nice and new

First time trying this product and I can definetely see a noticeable difference with the condition of my hair. I have dyed my hair a lot in the past which has resulted in it being on the damaged side. After using this shampoo my hair is feeling and looking a lot healthier! My hair is shiny now and feeling the best it ever has. The shampoo smelt nice and I like the bottle design. Super simple to use. I would love to see a bigger bottle of this product. I also enjoyed the smell of the product, my hair smelt very nice after washing!

I have been trialling this shampoo for the last two weeks, along with the Revlon Professional Restart recovery restorative melting conditioner, anti-brassiness purple drops, and anti-split ends sealing drops. This is a regime which I have done every 3 days, with some minor dry shampoo use in between to extend the clean between washes. The shampoo smells delightful, lathers well and, after two repeats, leaves my hair which is in need of some r&r feeling so clean and smooth. I would highly recommend this product for anyone needing a rejuvenated hair regime and I will continue to use this moving forward!

Beautiful revlon shampoo.. leaves my hair so amazing.. starting with the leather and it leaves scalp squeaky clean.. the packaging is so amazing easy to use as well.. smells amazing on my hair too.. perfect for clean hair which are easy to manage and less tangles.. perfect hair texture afterwards.. i love how they feel more manageable .. just so good.. i have used it with other goodies from the same range and it is match made in heaven .. product texture is silky soft easy to make leather and use on scalp and hair.. i go twice as i have long hair .. and i have dry dull hair as i use lots if tools but this is nice to go

Oh wow do I love this shampoo! The texture of this product was so smooth and left my hair feeling silky. I have dry thin hair and shampoo can leave my hair feeling corse without any type of conditioner but this product goes above and beyond to provide a refreshing, cleansing and smooth hair feel. I love all the hair health benefits this product provides. The bottle design is genius so easy to use and mess free and no having the fiddle around with 2 hands and getting water through the lid. The texture and consistency of the product was amazing and glides through hair with ease. I would definitely recommend this product for increasing strength and smoothness to your hair a new favourite of mine.

I have recently been trialing this product, and overall I am very impressed. The packaging is sleek, which would entice me on the shelves. The formula is thick but glossy and foams up well in the shower. My hair feels clean and hydrated post-wash. The whole Restart range from Revlon smells like a spa, which I can still smell post-wash. I compared this shampoo side by side with my salon-grade products and it definitely compares! I will continue to use this shampoo as part of my weekly routine. .

First look, i like the push button container but it did leak during shipping. Packaging was both good and bad. I did not notice much of a difference with my scalp to be honest. It felt clean like how othe shampoo does. I like how it smells and the lather is great too. I prefer shampoos that has a good lather and this is one. However, i am not sure if this or the consitioner contributed to the change in my hair texture and it is not for the better. I feel like it became easily tangled and felt coarse.

I am so glad to have trialled the Revlon Professional Restart recovery restorative micellar shampoo. I have been skeptical of micellar products (thinking that it's been more of a 'buzz' trend) but have my mind changed a little since trying this shampoo. It is so lovely and smooth and feels very luxurious. It is light and foamy when using, which I enjoy, and leaves my hair feeling super soft. The nutty fragrance is not too intense also. I work out a lot and wonder whether the shampoo might leave a build up after daily use, but am keen to find out, as it's just lovely.
