Revlon PhotoReady Prime Plus™ Primer Brightening & Skin-Tone Evening

I was super excited to use this product but unfortunately was disappointed. I don’t think it did much to brighten my skin or even out my skin tone.

I actually liked this product, mostly because I have had bad experiences with other primers causing me to break out. This one didn't have that side effect and didn't make my skin oily like a lot of others. Choose carefully based on your skin type! It felt more like a very thick moisturiser. As an actual base / primer it was middle of the road. It smooths the skin well but doesn't contribute to the longevity of your foundation.

This primer was a really good base for my foundation, making it last a lot longer than it normally does without it. The smell is quite citrus like which is pleasant and not too over bearing. It evened my skin tone massively. The only down sides were the lid is really hard to get off every time when using and the product itself is quite heavy and hard to blend/rub in.

I didn't mind this product, but I prefer even other Revlon primers I've used. It applied ok and worked relatively well, but it's not a primer I would buy.

Revlon Prime Plus Brightening and Skin Tone Evening Primer does as its name implies and gives an even, smooth and healthy glow. It gave me a fresh, youthful and healthy look. I really enjoyed the finish by itself on a bare face. It also looked nice under my foundation. I did notice that the foundation didn't last as long, but it didn't claim to do that and I wear it when I want a 'glow from within' look. I recommend this product if you're after the same. I'm looking forward to trying the others in the Prime Plus range, especially Mattifying and Pore Reducing.

This is a pretty average primer. It didn't significantly brighten my visage as it claims to, but the texture nonetheless created a good canvas for my foundation. To some extent I did notice my skin tone was fairly consistent after application and before applying foundation but the effect doesn't last and that is why my overall rating is lower than it should be. There is a very faint citrus scent but it goes away almost instantly. Otherwise, the size and the design of the bottle with the pump dispenser and secure lid are handy for toting the product on the go.

I don't want to leave a bad review but I really hated this. I broke out all over within a day. The consistency is horrible & heavy, I felt like I was smearing PVA glue all over my face. Did not work at all as a primer - all my foundation came off even worse than with zero primer. I was left with just a filthy line of foundation along my hairline. I had high hopes, but this was awful. Sorry but this was a massive swing and a miss.

This product was really easy to use. It applies easily, and sinks into the skin quickly to provide an even, smooth skin tone to create a good canvas for foundation. It wore well under foundation, helping it to last longer on the areas of my face that usually wear the quickest. I liked the vitamin c aspect, and really enjoyed the citrus scent. I did notice that my skin tone was slightly more even and brighter after use, and the longer I used it for, the more benefits of the vitamins I noticed. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable primer that doesn’t what it says on the bottle, along with some added skincare benefits. Great value for money.

Oh, my gosh did I love this product! I think that the name of it really speaks for itself - it's brightening and skin evening. I actually wore this on its own on 'no makeup' makeup days and it left my skin looking glowy and even. As a primer - its not the BEST at refining pores or stopping my skin from getting super oily but my foundation went on top of this beautifully and it's been able to last up to 13 hours so I'm not complaining too much. The only thing that I would change about this is to add an SPF into it so its like my entire base in one go but other than that I love it and highly recommend. It works especially on my sensitive skin and I had no reactions at all.

Average product, I didn’t really feel a difference when I used it. Pros; it’s easy to use, the packaging is sleek and there’s a few types so it depends on what your skin type is. Cons: didn’t feel much difference, my skin looked a little brighter when first applying but I didn’t notice a long lasting effect.

I mean it's ok. I did not notice much in skin brightening evening tone. It did ok as a primer but there are much better ones to use. It's more suited for a casual everyday wear under your bb/cc cream but definitely not as an all nighter.

I've only had a few chances to try the prime brighteniner but I liked it. I personally didnt feel like it worked greatly at even skin tones but worked well as a primer alone.

I really really liked this product - it stood out to me over other primers due to the skin-tone correcting aspect. I really felt it evened out my skin and I'd definitely purchase again.
