Revlon Illuminance Serum Concealer

The Revlon Illuminance Serum Concealer has been a staple product in my routine for the last 4 weeks. I love the consistency of the product and how it feels once applied. It provides a smooth and natural finish that offers good coverage and brightens under my eyes at the same time. The applicator makes the concealer super easy to apply and I also found this product super easy to blend out and only a small amount of product is required. I would recommend this product for anyone who is after a good quality concealer for an affordable RRP.

The applicator made it super easy to apply, and the formula itself is lightweight and creamy, making blending effortless. I used a beauty blender, and it melted into my skin, leaving a natural finish. This concealer offers full coverage, and it completely erased my dark circles without feeling heavy or cakey. I was impressed by how hydrating it felt, which worked perfectly with my combination skin. It didn’t crease or settle into fine lines.I loved the formula—it performed as well as, if not better than, some higher-end concealers I’ve tried. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a hydrating, full-coverage concealer that’s comfortable to wear all day.

Surprisingly this was a perfect match for my face. It suited my skin tone and covered my dark under eyes perfectly. Would definitely buy again. I went out and ordered one for my mum and friends as well, that’s how happy I was with this product. Had a smooth consistency and easy application. Blended out quite nicely with a concealer brush or a sponge. Gave a good finish overall. It’s a good size to keep in your bag for travel. Super pleased with it and I’m going to be disappointed once it runs out.

The Revlon Illuminance Serum Concealer is definitely hydrating and suitable for more mature/dry skin types. It has a medium coverage and didn't settle into fine lines around my eyes, which is always my biggest complaint with concealers. The shade fair is very fair and leans warm, so something to keep in mind if you have a neutral, olive or cool undertone. I prefer a peachier shade for under my eyes. I could go in with a colour corrector first but it means more products to buy and potentially heavier looking makeup. Colour aside, I really enjoyed this concealer. It is nothing particularly special, but it is a good hydrating concealer.

I was super impressed by this concealer! After trying the Revlon Illuminance Glow Filter I didn’t really have high hopes for the formulation, but this concealer did exactly what I needed. The serum concealer is smooth, buildable and provides a decent level of coverage. It applies easily and camouflages into the skin well. It blended well underneath my foundation and it provided natural looking coverage all day. Once my makeup was set, the concealer didn’t budge all day! It’s a matte formula which is great (I wasn’t too sure how effective a shimmery concealer would be!) The only downside was the applicator wand that was a bit flimsy and it took many dips into the tube to get enough product on to touch up all the spots I needed. Overall I’m really impressed by the concealer and would definitely recommend to others

I’m extremely picky with my concealer because I like it to do a LOT of the heavy lifting. I need it to cover blemishes, scaring and most of all, I need it to cover 2 years worth of no sleep. Unfortunately this concealer cannot hack it. While it does feel lightweight on the skin and blends out nicely, it has minimal coverage and doesn’t have the best light shade range. I can really only put this concealer under my eyes because the shade range jumps from super light to too dark. It does give a slight brightening effect and I think if you don’t have a toddler that has never slept through the night you might be ok with this, and in that situation I would recommend this concealer. However if you are prone to breakouts and have circles under your eyes as dark as a sing boy-mum’s soul, this might not cut it for you.

Furthermore, this concealer provides great coverage when I am dealing with hormonal breakouts, and it boosts my confidence using this product as it helps even out my skin making me less self-conscious. I use the light-medium shade, and I love the versatility of being able to apply this concealer with my fingers, a brush or a sponge. The product offers long lasting wear and a glowing more natural look. It is not cakey and there is no need to re-apply throughout the day. I highly recommend this product and will purchase it again as it is a great everyday wear concealer with a brightening finish. If you are looking for a high quality, long-lasting concealer for a reasonable cost, buy this!

Fair 001 was a good match for my fair Asian skin. This concealer has a good amount of natural-looking coverage, with decent thickness and spread ability. I used it to cover my dark circles and also blemishes. I did find it was better for covering dark circles than blemishes, as the concealer has a subtle brightening effect. This comes with a doe wand applicator, which you can gently apply directly to skin. There was no creasing of product, but the concealer can slightly emphasise skin texture, but this can be reduced with better application, say swabbing a little on the back of your hand and then lightly buffing the product into a soft brush, and using the brush to lightly apply to skin.

I was incredible surprised with this concealer. Usually they are a hit or miss and for some reason I always get the miss. (I’m combination with sensitive skin) It was super lightweight, didn’t feel cakey and blended so well. I didn’t have high hopes as concealers don’t really work well with me but I don’t know what they’ve been doing at Revlon and their formulas but it’s working. I paired it with the Illuminance Glow Filter and just used those two for my base and that was enough. As we come into summer I opt out of wearing a lot of makeup as it just melts off and feels sticky. A little goes a long way and just like the glow filter you can build it to as little or as much as you want. The packaging is super cute and price point is even better. Definitely will be recommending this and pairing it with the Illuminance Glow Filter!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this concealer. I got a shade that is quite light, so it's great for brightening. I can't comment on what it would be like for full coverage, but for giving the inner corner area some pizazz it works perfectly! I would like to try it in a different shade as well. I found this in shade 01 vs the glow filter in shade 002 are very different. They look a lot different than being one shade apart, so make sure you pick the shade carefully. Possibly go into store and find some testers. Overall as a combo, this and the glow filter give a nice minimal coverage look for summer. I even popped a bit of full coverage foundation over the top for going out in the evening, and it worked great!

I absolutely love this concealer! The packaging is a pretty standard tube and applicator and I didn’t notice any fragrance, which is what I prefer. Initially, I put on the same amount as I would my other concealer and found a little went a long way! I now only dab on the smallest amount and get great, light coverage. My other concealer can get quite cakey but this one stays on light and natural and indeed brightens under my eyes. I don’t have to worry about checking it throughout the day as I know it will be looking good. Big fan and this is now my go to concealer!

This concealer does the job as an everyday concealer - it is more hydrating than most concealers and the colour matching was pretty good. This works really well for light coverage but if you have dark eye circles, or dark patches from healing blemishes, it ends up looking a bit cakey because you need to apply a lot of concealer to really cover the area. I found it overall easy to use but for those looking for heavier coverage, maybe apply a hydrating serum and moisturizer liberally below to reduce the cakey effect first.

I really liked the long doe foot applicator which made application a breeze. It allowed me to precisely apply to the inner corners of my eyes. It lives up to its name of a serum concealer. It's nice and hydrating and though its not full coverage, it does mask the look of dark circles to an extent. If I were to repurchase, I would go with a shade a little more yellow toned to help counter act the blue/purple from dark circles. It did crease a little bit under my eyes but that can be remedied with better under eye skin care prep. A good, budget friendly concealer for those who like a lighter coverage look.

The Revlon Illuminance Serum Concealer is a nice product that gets the job done. To me, it is perfectly adequate but not exactly groundbreaking. It really reminds me of the ELF Hydrating Camo Concealer. It offers medium coverage with a hydrating formulation that is quite easy to blend. The applicator is easy to use and the packaging is quite nice. All in all this is a good product, although it does not really stand out to me. Though this is not exactly a rave review I would actually recommend the Revlon Illuminance Serum Concealer to someone in the market for a new concealer, particularly an everyday one.

This concealer is extremely lightweight and hydrating. It felt great under my eyes, and provided just enough coverage to brighten them. I love this for a more natural, lightweight look, as its quite light-coverage and is super comfortable on the skin. It worked well with all my other products and was a good shade match for my very pale skin. It is quite thin so it can sometimes accentuate lines under my eyes, but a powder easily fixed this problem. My main issue with this is that it would never stay on my forehead specifically. No idea why, it stayed on perfectly under my eyes for the whole day, but it would leave a patch with no makeup where I put it on my forehead. Bit random but I am happy with it otherwise.

This is absolutely the best pharmacy brand concealer I've ever used. The pigment is strong without being too reflective. Dark circles are a massive issue for me, this covered them easily, and when paired with a corrector, I've never looked more awake. I also struggle with acne-prone skin, and this covered all blemishes easily. I was worried the formula would be too creamy to set, but letting it dry before powder worked - it didn't budge all day. I've got porcelain skin, and have always found it hard to get the shades pale enough that don't run too yellow, but this suited my complexion well. The packaging works well and it's easy to dispense the right amount every time. I will absolutely be repurchasing when I've run out - it's a perfect all rounder.

I found this concealer to be lovely and brightening under the eyes. The formula itself is quite a lightweight serum and not heavy at all. I apply it under my eyes and let it sit for a minute and then lightly blend it out. It leaves my under eyes brightened however looks very natural. I found no issues after setting with a powder also. I didn’t find the concealer to crease at all. For me this is best used under the eyes. The finish was very natural and illuminating as the name suggests. I’d recommend to anyone looking for an affordable concealer to brighten their under eyes.
