Revlon ColorStay Xtensionnaire™ Mascara

I was gifted a Revlon ColorStay Xtensionnaire, it is a great every day use mascara, it isn’t clumpy like some others I’ve used and tested previously. I actually like this product and would most definitely recommend this to all of my friends and/or family and will continue to use it for my every day work make up routine - it will leave your lashes looking much longer, darker and thicker. All in all I would say this is a pretty decent and affordable product done by revlon. ———————————————————————_______________________________________

Very happy with the Revlon Xtensionnaire Mascara! I naturally have short lashes so curling can be quite problematic, however this wand (larger than what I’m used to) made it so easy to not only curl but extend my eyelashes in a way that I’d get with false lashes .The formula is flexible but thick formula which i love - I can build up volume without looking over the top and with one coat still achieve a more natural look - without clumping or smudging! This mascara is also incredibly easy to remove at the end of the day , which is super helpful as I can’t stand waking up with Panda eyes. Couldn’t recommend this product enough , will definitely be my new daily staple !

When used in conjunction with eyelash primer and a curler, the product has taken my stiff, stubborn lashes to lengths they've never been before! I usually prefer fibre mascaras as they add a bit of volume to my sparse lashes, but the shorter wand bristles were able to give a more separated, defined and clean look. The shorter bristles allowed me to easily maneuver the wand around the inner corners of my eyes, which lashes I've always struggled to coat. Keep doing what youre doing Revlon!

I was lucky to be selected for the Revlon Colorstay Xtensionnaire Mascara trial, and perfect that it was a mascara, as I just had finished the last of my current one! I loved the gold packaging, as it definitely does stand out and make the mascara look more premium. I found it did genuinely add length, but in more of a natural effect. I did not experience any heavy clumping and liked that the wand gave me a precise and even application. There was minimal flaking and transfer, which is something I always look out for with mascara as I am outdoors in the elements quite often. Another plus worth noting, it does come off easily at the end of the day with my usual face wash, as I am personally not a fan of having to remove my mascara off prior to washing my face.

Loved this so much! It doesn’t transfer to your skin at all and that’s the #1 thing I look for. I even tested it when watching sad movies and it was fairly tears resistant! No panda eyes in sight! The application is fairly easy and pretty on par with some higher end mascaras. The brush is a little bigger than I’m used to but I got used to it very quickly. I found that it gave me really amazing length that reminded me of false eyelashes I had used in the past. I would use this mascara for days and nights where I want a more extreme look, but it can also be used for everyday wear. I would definitely recommend this mascara to someone!

Revlon ColorStay Xtensionnaire™ Mascara is a new favourite for sure! This mascara lengthens and volumizes without clumping or smudging. The formula's texture was perfect for my short lashes. I don't really like to have dramatic eye and this was perfect for my everyday look - an effortless yet impactful addition to the morning makeup routine. Stays put all day, yet easy to remove. Safe for sensitive eyes too - which is important for me. My new go-to mascara - highly recommended! Bravo, Revlon! If you are looking for a new one - maybe give this a go.

The product applies smooth, looks nice and doesn't clump! Which is just fantastic. It doesn't "extend" Or boost the volume of lashes, but simply does what mascara typically does. It will definitely be my regular go-to mascara until I run out! However I do think the name/description needs to be changed to actually match what it does. Which is non-clumping, smooth application, well sticking and a nice lasting finish. I've tested the revlon colourstay Xtensionnaire mascara repeatedly, and even left it overnight and noted it lasts a good two days (though I recommend taking it off nightly for cleanliness purposes). I would recommend this product more to people who prefer something a little closer to subtle, rather than for performance or obvious mascara.

Love this new mascara! Its lightweight, lengthening and transfer proof! It's really nice and buildable, without creating clumps. I find this mascara very true to the 'colour stay' name, as it is pigmented very black and has a really high impact look! I tried this over a two week period and it was really good for days at work but also buildable for nights out as well! I'd definitely recommend using an eyelash curler with it to see the full impact of the mascara - I think Revlon actually sell one at a pretty reasonable price as well. Definitely will be repurchasing.

I was fortunate to get on the trial team for the Revlon ColorStay Xtensionnaire Mascara and trial this product for a few weeks. I wouldn’t say this product is bad but I probably wouldn’t want to keep using it every day it’s good for going out and stays on and doesn’t rub or bleed onto skin, I have sensitive eyes and it didn’t sting when putting them on my eyes. I didn’t notice that it made them longer but it was still a pretty good mascara I was fortunate to get on the trial team for the Revlon ColorStay Xtensionnaire Mascara and trial this product for a few weeks. I found this mascara was easy to use and apply. I really liked this product as I found it noticeability highlighted my eyes, however I didn't find it gave the appearance of 'extended' lashes, like the name implies. The product also lasted on my lashes all day, and didn’t smudge. In summary, I would recommend this mascara to others as I liked the way it applied, and found it thickened my lashes, made my eyes look bolder, and didn’t smudge.

Did I like this mascara, Yes. Did I love it, well not really. This mascara offers a natural looking lash and works best when paired with an eyelash curler to give the lash a bit of extra length and volume. However, the mascara itself didn’t really increase the length or volume of my lashes even after multiple coats. I like that this product was easy to apply and it washed off super easily without leaving black residue. I don’t mind a more natural looking mascara and this would be a nice option for a subtle everyday look.

I usually use Revlon products so was excited to receive this mascara to trial, I find their mascaras quite premium for the price point. This one, the ColourStay Xtensionnaire, did a great job at lengthening and extending my lashes, which are usually quite short and as a blonde - light. I did need to apply a few applications however I find that’s pretty common with most mascaras. It gave a pretty natural day time look, and I probably could have added a few more coats to bring it into a nighttime effect. I’ve seen a few comments about the brush however I thought it was fine, I prefer brushes that are more on the stiff side as they tend to clump less. I didn’t notice any dark marks under my eyes at the end of the day, and relatively easy to remove with my oil based remover.

I was excited to try this mascara as it was from Revlon, with it’s chick packaging of black and gold. The mascara’s texture was quite thick that you would expect it to darken and give volume to your lashes really well but it didn’t even after 3 coats. A thumbs-up for lengthening my lashes though for a natural look which would be okay for daytime use of if you would like to go for a “no make-up” look. I believe this is also not waterproof or smudge proof as it left marks on my lower eye area after 4- 6hours from application. Not sure if it can be long- wearing after applying a setting spray. I would definitely go for a pass on this one in the market.

This mascara lifted my lashes and gave them length and definition. With a few coats, it worked well at defining and separating my lashes whilst giving them lift and slight volume. The brush is shaped with a twist within it, which works well if you also create a twist motion or side to side wiggle. I found the formula lasted a full 9-5 work day. It lasted the day but was also relatively easy to remove with micellar water and pads. The gold and black packaging is nice, adds a glamourous elegant touch. I would recommend this product, it works at defining the eyes with dark, separated and lengthened lashes.

This mascara was very average. I have not used Revlon mascaras before but this was underwhelming. I think it would be good for someone who has naturally long lashes and wants to add some definition. For me however, I need a mascara that's truly volumising and lengthening. I felt the consistency did not grip to my lashes - perhaps it needed to be slightly thicker (not necessarily to make it clumpier, but to have a more volumising and lengthening effect). I felt the type of brush also did not work for my short, thin eyelashes. I would skip this one. There are plenty of other affordable drugstore mascaras out there that do a better job than this one for the same price.

This mascara is more for those who want a darkening effect on their lashes, rather than any volumising or lengthening. It would probably be a good ‘first mascara’ for a tween or teen. The brush itself was quite large and scratchy I found, and was hard to navigate through my lashes due to it’s size. It did tend to clump my lashes instead if separate them. I think the product is too thin and the brush overloads it, which results in the clumping. Overall I’m not a huge fan of it. I would recommend wiping the excess mascara off the brush before applying. I found that during the day it would smudge under my eyes, which is my absolute bug bear of mascaras. It didn’t smudge on my eyelids though which was good.

This is a fantastic mascara for those wanting a little glam, I think I’m guilty of not doing my makeup enough, but this mascara really made it so easy for me The twisty brush is stunning and it allows a really even coat on your lashes, giving great volume and colour to your eyes. When it comes time to take it off, it is smooth and not too clumpy; which can be a frustration to take makeup off as you just need it to be easy It might be a mix between waterproof and not waterproof, which makes the colour much darker I love this mascara it really is so glamorous
