Remington ONE Straight & Curl Styler – S6077AU

This hair tool has a unique design that enables it to function as both a flat iron hair striaghtener and curling iron in one. It's essentially a flat iron with a round outer shape that serves as the curler since the inner and outer surfaces are heated together. The tool comes with insulated sliding covers to convert between the two functions. The device is quick to heat up, and has professional heat settings from 150, 170, 190, 210, to 230 celcius degrees. The supplied gloves are a must when using it as a curling wand. The tools is well balanced in the hand and the spring action for plates feels good. The plates have 'anti-static tourmaline-infused ceramic coating' which means less frizz. It has worldwide voltage which makes it an ideal travelling companion. The covers can get very hot during the straightening function, which is is minus point if you want to straighten the top of your hair then use the curling function for the ends after. Also, the round outer shape makes it slightly bulkier than a normal flat iron straightening, so I found it difficult to get to my roots for my fringe. Overall it is a good idea to have one tool perform two functions - a space saver and good for travel. There are just some small limitations that make it not as good as individual dedicated tools.

When using the Remington ONE Straight & Curl Styler I find choosing the styling mode and selecting the heat setting I want is easy and straightforward. I’m pleased that there is a range of heat settings from 150-230°C because my hair prefers the lower temperatures around 150-170°C. I also like that I don’t have to wait long for the plates to heat up. I find the Straight and Curl Styler to be heavier than the straightener I usually use, which is understandable because this one is a two-in-one hair tool. However, once I adjust to the weight, I find the straightener is easy enough to use and I am able to achieve sleek, smooth results without effort. This tool is easy to switch from the straightener to the curler, and even though my hair isn’t long I’ve been able to create some lovely wavy curls. I appreciate the styling glove and the storage bag – nice little additions to the pack.

I've wanted to try something like this for ages but didn't want to spend a lot of money because I am often hopeless at using this kind of tool. I manage my baby fine hair well with velcro rollers. I was as delighted as it is possible to be to receive this as part of the wonderful 2024 Glosscars Awards Box from Beauty Heaven, Beauty Crew's sister site. The concept is brilliant with curling AND straightening in the one tool. I look awful with straight hair but love soft curls. It took me a little while to feel comfortable using this and the protective glove is welcome - it would be reasonably easy to burn yourself if you weren't careful (especially if you're inclined to be clumsy as I am!) Using the glove means no burns. Once you've got over the initial nerves and manage to curl without problems the uses are endless, depending on how you like your hair and the length. I'm still thanking my lucky stars that I was gifted this product as it is beyond wonderful.

The Remington ONE Straight & Curl Styler is super easy to use and heats up in only 20 seconds. Wow!  I love that it comes with a glove and also a storage pouch that has a heat resistant lining. It has a digital temperature control that has 5 settings from 150⁰ to 230⁰. I personally use 230⁰ as I have thick, frizzy and coarse hair. I really enjoyed using this to straighten my hair with the longer-length plates which made straightening my hair quicker. Love that for me! It is super easy and quick to swap this over to a curler. Love that it's got an anti-slip coating so my hair doesn't slide off the barrels. This would be fabulous for travelling. Just pop it in it's pouch and off you go - you've got your straightener and curler in 1. It does a fabulous job at straightening my hair. I go over each section twice but that's because I have unruly hair. End results are sleek.

I love how I can’t jump from sleek and straight hair to beachy waves or bouncy curls with just one styling tool. It takes up minimal space in my cupboard, and switching between straight and curl modes is as easy as sliding and clicking the flexi covers into position. Once switched on using the C button I choose which temperature I would like to use to style my hair. Once the styler is ready to use the display stops flashing. I have used this to straighten, and attempted some beachy waves and found it very simple and easy to do, I looked up some tutorials on YouTube and have found it really handy. If you need to straighten then curl make sure you let the styler cool down before sliding the plates up.

I love this versatile tool. It's so much fun to use. I am able to get rid of my old hair straightener and hair curler because this is a 2 in 1 heat tool. Less space is required to store this product which also means I have a less cluttered drawer of cords. This product comes with a storage bag and also a styling glove. One of my favourites features is the longer length ceramic plates because I can straighten more hair with each pass meaning less sections are required and when curling my hair this feature helped. I have loads of hair so this tool is such a welcome addition to my hair routine. The Remington ONE Straight & Curl Styler straightens my frizzy and wavy hair so well and my hair feels so soft and silky smooth once I'm finished. I found it really easy to switch it from straight to curl mode with the FlexiCovers and when I curled my hair I was very happy with how it turned out.  Overall, I really do like this product and recommend it to others because it is effective and versatile combining a straightener and curler in one. I like how you can adjust the temperature to your liking and it's heats up in no time at all. I have been blown away with the results of both the straightener and curler modes and I think it is well priced too.

I have been using this Remington ONE straightener and curler for about a month now and I absolutely love it. It heats up quickly and has various temperature settings. I have been experimenting with the best temperatures for each style. I love how my hair looks so healthy when I straighten it - very silky and shiny with no frizz. When I curl my hair it also has a healthy, bouncy look to it. It is gentle on my hair and a lot of fun to use. I love that it has a long cord and that it also has an auto-switch off feature if I ever forget to switch it off. I highly recommend this straightener and curler - it makes styling my hair so easy.

Remington One 2 in 1 straight and curl styler is the perfect solution for girl with different hair styling needs! I am guilty of having multiple hair styling tools and they take up so much room in storage. With this styler, I can switch over to a hair curler whenever I feel like a hair style change ! It’s ceramic coated plate which is anti frizz and less damaging for hair. It heats up super fast and contains various temperature settings for different hair types! I noticed that the the styler is longer than usual which means you can straighten your hair faster with one pass.
