Firstly the spray bottle is really easy to use and the distribution is a great fine mist around my hair, it's not too concentrated on one area which I definitely find with other heat protectants I've used, the fragrance is also really nice and has that salon sorta feel. This definitely worked well for my hair - I have very dry ends that are prone to looking straw like when I use heat on my hair and I saw a considerable difference using the spray before straightening so 10/10 would recommend!

This is great when I want to minimise the damage from the heat and chemical from colouring my hair. I wouldn't spend $55 just on this though, if i choose to use it I will for sure go with the shampoo and conditioner from the same range (not that i ever pair this with other brands, maybe it's just a mental thing). I used more on this spray just on the bottom half of the hair as I feel this range gives a little heavier feel to the hair and my hair gets oily very easily. The scent is decent and I love a good leave in products. It makes it so convenient (rather than putting some treatment on, hang around for 10-15mins and wash them off). Will recommend it!

Being a Redken leave in heat protection spray, I was expecting the absolute bomb… The packaging is classy and the mist in a lightweight formula and so fine when you spray it .. It didn’t leave the hair feeling heavy or sticky. I knew it was suppose to helps balance your hair's natural pH levels, keeping it healthy as well as giving it an overall shine. I would definitely use again but don’t think I would class it as my favourite leave in spray. I must say it makes your hair manageable without any greasy residue, that some products leave.

I've never tried Redken products as I tend to stick to a product if I love it and ignore competitors. Lately, my hair has been so dry and frizzy, and no matter what products I would use, I could not get it under control. I used the Redken Acidic Color Gloss Heat Protectant Leave In Spray along with the complimenting products of the range and I am sold on them for the rest of my life! My hair is so soft and no longer frizzy. I heat style my hair and it has never looked better. 10/10 would definitely recommend the Redken Acidic Color Gloss Range.

Love the packaging on this product. Very easy to apply without the spray bottle clogging up and not needing to get product all over your hands. The lock on the bottle is an added bonus if taking it travelling. The product smells great and detangled and smoothed my hair when blow drying. It protected against the heat, improved the hydration and condition of my hair and left my hair with a beautiful glossy finish. My hair looks and feels really healthy. Would definitely recommend this trio of products.

I really enjoyed using this product along with the matching shampoo and conditioners. The bottle is amazing and most importantly the trigger works well to dispense product easily throughout the hair. The product smells amazing to help keep hair smelling great throughout drying. I have thick long hair and it takes a while to dry so it's regularly under a dryer. This product helped to keep my hair healthy and maintain my colour throughout the drying process. It's the perfect finisher and compliments the shampoo and conditioner

Using all three of the products in this range did increase my shine and did improve the vibrancy of my hair colour as I would get compliments and would get asked if I got my hair done. I usually wash my hair 3 times a week as I have oily thin hair and it gets sweaty a lot and I’ve found with using this product I’m able to wash my hair 1-2 days a week. I shampoo the scalp twice and only condition the ends & I use the protection spray even when I’m going to air dry my hair as it detangles my hair and also leaves it feeling nice. I did notice a reduction of frizz but overall I found the conditioner didn’t hydrate my hair as much as I would like especially if you’re using this on coloured hair.

This product along with the Colour gloss shampoo and conditioner make for a great pairing, after several uses my hair has become so much softer and looks healthier. After having blonde high lights in my hair and being quite dry I found this product helps and is very nourishing, it is shinier and my hair smells amazing. I love that it is a heat protection spray as I also straighten my hair weekly and have noticed a huge decrease of breakage. I will definitely continue to buy the colour gloss range together as it’s made a huge difference in the appearance and overall health of my hair, the smell is just a bonus!

Downright dangerous!! Serious slipping hazard. I’m lucky I didn’t break a leg. Ended up having to use this whilst standing on carpet or on a towel which isn’t ideal as I don’t want stains. Made my hair greasier quicker than usual. The packaging doesn’t feel luxurious for the price point & brand, but I appreciated the locking feature for travel. It did make my hair so soft and nice, but I wouldn’t repurchase as the safety and alternatively staining concerns are just not worth it. Such a shame as it had great potential. Perhaps a pump bottle would be a better application method.

To be honest I haven't used heat protectant much before straightening my hair as I never really believed it actually protects my hair but after doing research into this Redken spray I am absolutely blown away. The spray has a few uses in one which I find amazing! It's a heat protectant up to 450 degrees, a leave in treatment and adds a beautiful shine as a bonus. I use the Redken gloss Shampoo, conditioner and while my hair is towel dried I spray the Redken heat protection leave-in treatment through out my hair and smooth it through whilst it's drying. The results were a real shock to me, normally when i dry my hair and then straighten it, my hair is frizzy, dry and looks dull. With the spray it controls my frizz and looks like glass. Will definitely continue to use this product and recommend it to friends.

If you’re just looking for a basic heat protectant, this does the job, but if you need extra moisture, frizz control, or noticeable improvements in hair texture, it may fall short.

I'm very picky about heat protectant sprays as I often find they can feel sticky and unfortunately, this one fell into the same camp. I tried this on wet, damp and dry hair and would only repeat use on wet hair again otherwise it left a sticky feeling residue which affected the styling process. It did a great job when I applied it to wet hair, my hair was smooth and shiny once blow dried. However, I have curly/wavy colour treated hair and don't tend to heat style my hair beyond diffusing it very often and found it wasn't great for diffusing - only for a blowdry.
