Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate (ABC) 5-min Liquid Mask

From months of neglect, no trims not real conditioning treatment and dryness from probably too much hair straightening, I found this Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate (ABC) 5-min Liquid Mask a high quality boost that has made my hair much more softer and easier to manage on a daily basis. I generally tie my hair for work and I noticed that the softness and manageability so much easier even for my very simple styles. I think this would make a nice Christmas gift as it's like a salon visit in a bottle.

Having tried a shelf-load of masks in the past, I was dubious that this Redken 5 minute mask would be able to hold a candle against salon recommended products, however to say I was blown away is an understatement. The ends of my hair are a completely different texture due to the rounds of dyeing it has been through with their being lots of split-end and matted knots when running my fingers through. After just using the product 3 times every other day, I have been able to brush through my ends without pulling out excess hair.

It was hands down AWESOME My hair went from dull and flakey - I have a colored, naturally curly hair that I straighten it on weekly basis- my hair suffers to say the least but it turned into full and shiny hair that is so soft I can’t stop touching it. It actually no longer needs a hair cut and there is a hope that at last i can grow it without looking like a shag. I used it as instructed with the accompanying shampoo- but i think i will start using for longer than 5 and see how it turns. I will definitely keep buying it.

However, this shampoo/mask combo has done the trick, and I'm so grateful. It smells fantastic, is easy to use, and has tamed the frizz from my dry, damaged hair. I have curly hair that is susceptible to damage, so having my hair smooth and healthy is very important so it doesn't look horrible and ratty. I used the shampoo, which properly cleansed my hair without leaving it dry and squeaky, and applied the 5 minute mask. On washing it out, I could already feel the difference, with my hair smooth and hydrated. When my hair dried, I was so happy to see reduced frizz and my curl pattern restored. It feels like the damage has been undone, and my hair feels healthy again. I'll definitely be using this product again!

Redken acidic binding concentrate (ABC) 5-min liquid mask has transformed my hair. I have dry breaking bleached blonde hair and had recently had a lot cut off. It was still damaged and lifeless. This mask has restored the moisture and strength in my hair. Used in conjunction with redkin acidic shampoo my hair has heavily reduced in breakage. The bottle makes it easy to squeeze out without any wastage. The scent after washing out leaves a clean fresh feeling. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is struggling to regain their hair health back.

I LOVE this mask! I'd been using the other Redkin Acidic Bonding - the shampoo, conditioner and leave in, so when I had the opportunity to try the mask, I jumped at it! In all honesty, I thought this would be good but not as good as it ended up being because I also use Olaplex and K18, which are both great and I wasn't sure this could compete. But from the 3 times I've used it (once per week, for 3 weeks), I think I'm ready to rule that it is BETTER than both - at least in the way it makes your hair immediately feel anyway. I have frizzy, wavy/curly hair that never feels smooth no matter what I do, but this product did it. I couldn't stop touching my hair after use, and asking my fiance to do the same haha. What I cannot say for certain is how much this will improve the health of my hair over the long-term, as I do batter my hair with bleach every few months or so. My hope is that the bleach doesn't do as much damage because this product has prepared my hair as much as possible. One thing I should point out is I've already been using the other products in the range for a few months, so I'm not sure how my results compare to someone who hasn't. The mask also smells really nice, which is not required, but is a nice bonus.

Thankyou for the opportunity to trial this product, I am really enjoying using them. My hair is still recovering from my twin pregnancy that caused alot of loss and damage. I also colour my hair alot, so hair care is really important to me. The first thing that impressed me was the mask! I definitely recommend doing the whole 5 minutes to achieve the best results, but, 5 minutes and you can just do it in the shower, no mucking around first?! Yes please! After using it for two weeks I am quite impressed at how refreshed, smooth and vibrant my hair looks and feels. The citrus scent is my favourite, it's much like the product I was already using, not overpowering and leaves your hair smelling nice. I can't wait to see how my hair is once I have finished using what I have left, I'd love to give a follow up review then.

I love this product, it’s really helped with my hair. After the first wash I noticed my hair felt a lot more hydrated and smoother but as I continued to use it I noticed my hair was a lot more manageable. This product is thinner than what I’m use to using but it was able to cover more areas with less product. I was also able to extend my hair wash days to every 4 to 5 days rather than the 2 to 3 I had been having to do with other shampoos and treatments. After trailing the products I can safely say my hair feels so much healthier, smoother and more manageable. My hair is less frizzy when I dry it whether that is with a tool or hair dry. My hair also feels stronger and not as damaged which I love. Both products have a sweet smell to them but it isn’t overbearing and actually quite pleasant. I also noticed that the smell lingered in my hair as well which I peronally really like. Overall I would definitely recommended giving the Redken Bonding Treatment and shampoo a try as I have loved it. I felt like my hair was fairly healthy before beginning this trial but these products have really just elevated my hair and taken the health of it to the next level. It will leave you with shiner, more hydrated, and happier hair.

Even though I'm THREE YEARS post partum, my hair still has not been the same. It gets dryer much quicker and I have insane hair loss, especially when washing my hair. I've tried countless products and nothing has made much of a difference - until now. From the first wash, I could tell I didn't lose as much as I normally would. I paired this with the Acidic Bonding Concerntrate Shampoo, which feels so lush and thick and lathers and penetrates beautifully itself, but then the addition of the 5 Minute Liquid Mask, my hair has never felt better. This really is magic in a bottle. My hair has been quite dry and brittle lately. Having tried other products I was quite sceptical as to if this would actually work. After the first few applications I really did notice the results. My hair felt suitably nourished and healthier, after only 2 weeks of use. It is lightly scented with subtle citrus undertones. It leaves your hair feeling light and gave my locks a luscious shine. It doesn't weigh your hair down, or leave a greasy after feel. I have also noticed there seems to be less breakage with my hair, which gives me the confidence that this product does exactly what it says it will. My hair has never felt more hydrated and healthy. The Redken ABC 5 minute liquid Mask has really smoothed my dry, frizzy, medium length hair. I noticed my hair was much softer, smoother and silkier after the first time I used this mask. The fragrance is a slight sweet smell which isn't overpowering. My hair is now much more hydrated and is a lot stronger, I have noticed less breakage and fallout. The only thing I didn't like about this hair mask was the packaging. It is very boring and plain, so not very eye catching but luckily that doesnt impact the result. I would highly recommend this hair mask to anyone with dry, weak or frizzy hair.

I really loved this product. I tried both the shampoo and the mask, and they were both amazing. It leaves my hair hydrated without compromising volume. The consistency is perfect and it spreads very easily throughout your hair, so you don’t have to use a lot of it therefore going a long way, which is perfect! It’s so easy to dry and straighten your hair because it leaves it soft and shiny without the frizz. I normally use a large comb to untangle any knots, but I have found that after using this product it’s more manageable and less breakage. I love the citrus smell and I will definitely be using this product from now on. It’s my new favourite!

The Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo is simple to use and smells amazing like tic tacs. All you need to do is just apply it to wet your hair, leather it up real well to coat each strand, and easy rinse off. I felt my hair feel smoother immediately. Acidic Bonding Concentrate mask is applied, about a 50c piece size amount, only from the mid to end length of your hair. Leaving the mask on your hair for five minutes, i used a wide tooth comb to easily spread to each strand of hair, and then easily rinse it out! Amazing - after drying my hair and styling it, i immediately had noticed a big improvement in the softness, smoothness and feel of my hair that I have not seen before. My hair style is lasting longer. Flyaway and frizz being kept to a minimum. It is hydrating and doesn’t weigh down my hair! This is one to buy! And the results are real from the first wash and style. I was so excited to have been picked to review this product and when it arrived with the shampoo, that just made my day. When I first tried it I didn't notice much of a difference but as a continued with it, the condition of my hair did improve. I have a red short bob with fringe that's naturally curly. I use a smoothing treatment every couple months so it dries pretty straight. Sometimes it really dries out my hair and that's what happened last time I used it. My hair has been feeling in better condition and has a great shine to it. Plus it smells like orange juice. Yummy!! It sits really nicely and with no frizz. I'll definitely continue to use this and I'll now explore more products within the line.

The Acidic Bonding Concentrate by Redken is fantastic! It is light, smells fresh but not too overpowering and I have really noticed my hair is much stronger since using it. I have bleached highlights and my hair isn't in the best way at the moment. I've also been losing my hair and growing back whispy bits after having a baby. The ABC mask has really helped to strengthen my hair while also leaving it really smooth and shiny. The ABC mask is really easy to use. You don't need to use much of the product to get great results, so I'm sure it's going to last quite a while. I like how the hole in the lid is quite small, so only a small amount comes out when you squeeze the bottle. It just helps to ensure you aren't using too much and wasting a lot of this liquid gold! This also helps the bottle last much longer! I applied the mask after shampooing and left the mask on for at least 5 minutes before massaging it in and washing the mask out. I have noticed much less hair breakage when drying and styling my hair and have found that my hair sits so much better when styled. I have had people notice how shiny and healthy my hair looks since using the ABC mask, which never happens to me! I usually have wavy hair with some frizzy bits that I end up using a straightener on all the time. I really love that I haven't gotten the straightener out since I started to use this mask! I will definitely be buying the ABC mask again in future!

I was so excited to trial this product as I have been dealing with split ends, dry hair and damage. I used it along with the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo, which is a great product too. It cleans my hair extremely well, and only need a drop lathered in your hands. The liquid mask comes in a squeeze bottle with an extremely small opening. I used probably a 5c coin amount on each side of my parted hair from my ears down and left it for 5-10 minutes each time. I only used it 2 times weekly and my normal shampoo and conditioner once in that week. As soon as I started rinsing the mask out I instantly noticed that it was detangled completely. I air dry my hair, so after an hour I brushed it and there was no knots, my hair was so smooth and shiny, and my spilt ends and damage looked at least 50% reduced. I was and still am SO amazed that it worked so well. I will defiantly be repurchasing this ❤️

I have dry, damaged and coloured hair so was very excited to try the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate (ABC) 5-min Liquid Mask! It's exactly what my hair needed. 5 minutes and this left my hair softer and much more manageable. After using it for some time, I have noticed significant improvement. My hair is smoother, feels and looks healthier with a nice shine. The product is so luxurious, a beautiful floral but not overpowering smell. Always look forward to using the mask and will repurchase once it's done!

Found this to be an easy perfect fix my hair treatment at home. The results are just as amazing as walking out of a salon. After shampooing with the acidic bonding concentrate. I applied the 5 min Liquid mask. The smallest most tiniest quantity is ever so needed. I must say it is extremely strong and to only apply at the ends of your hair. The consistency may seem a very thin liquid but powerful. The scent was a little too strong for my liking. I combed it through and it left my hair extra silky smooth and completely manageable. After 5 minutes I rinsed the product out. As I blowdry my long hair there were no fly aways just very sleek straight hair. I did find it quite difficult to style immediately after using this product. But to my surprise the next day my hair had transformed into the most fullest softest lush locks ever. Quite a magical product to use once a week in place of conditioner. It is a super treatment which locks in an abundance of moisture and completely repairs every strand leaving you with healthy hydrated hair. I would totally recommend this mask as a little goes a long way. The 250ml plastic squeeze tube is a little bit hard to dispense. I do prefer a pump bottle. Other than that I was extremely pleased with the results and will continue to treat my hair with such a quality product.

I'm a bit of a hair product snob and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this shampoo and concentrate. It left my hair feeling thick, which is something I love because I've had very thin hair since being on a nasty medication some years ago. It did leave it looking and feeling a little dry, with not much shine to it. I prefer this than greasy to be honest so I can live with that. I used this on my boyfriend too to give it a robust testing and it did amazing things to his gorgeous fluffy hair! I'm not sure if that's a testament to this product or the fact that he didn't use a 10 in one body wash/shampoo/shaving cream/after shave/deodorant/coffee/moisturiser type situation like normal 🙄 This product smells divine too, so I've added a star for that alone. I don't know that I'd purchase this product because I am such a shampoo and conditioner snob, but I will use up these bottles and that says a lot. I was a little worried about what it would do to my copper colour (given that it is disappointingly not my natural colour) and it may have taken a bit of tone out but hard to be sure because I was nearing freshen up time anyway. Overall I'd definitely recommend this product!
