Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek Shampoo

I was really happy with the Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek Shampoo; it did a fantastic job of smoothing and de-frizzing my bleach damaged mid-lengths and ends while not adding any heaviness or oil to my oilier scalp and roots. I used this shampoo in conjunction with the Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek Conditioner & Leave-in Crème Frizz Control and as a system it worked really well for me! This range actually had an instant effect on my hair – it was smoother, softer and shinier immediately after the first day of using all three products!

I’m pretty impressed with the Pantene Smooth and Sleek - frizz control, a small amount goes a long way, leaving my hair smooth and silky. The shampoo bottle is a good size to grab and handle in the shower with a easy flip top lid, nothing worse than a bottle you can’t hold and drop and press down lid that you can’t find where to press. It varies in price from $5.60 to $8 depending I suppose where it is on special. A little goes a long way, use too much and it’s a waste, so I think it’s value for money. The results are fantastic, frizz is under control and my half grey hair is manageable , and silky smooth and moisturised. It’s gentle on the hair , and safe to use everyday, doesn’t contain any silicones, paraffins, mineral oils and colour ants. My husband too is using it and agrees as well, that it’s a nice shampoo that leaves your hair feeling soft and smooth and shiny and has a nice mild smell. So it gets the thumbs up from this household , we highly recommend it to tame that frizz.

This product is great value for the price you pay vs the amount of product you get! My family has been using Pantene for years as it's become a reliable brand that's readily available in every supermarket or chemist. The product packaging itself is unique and has a distinctive look and is practicable to use when required. The formula lathers really easily and leaves your hair feeling instantly clean and soft. I only had to use this product once to know my hair was thoroughly cleaned. I've even used it after a heavy hair treatment mask. It smells wonderful as well.

Great product for a great price, as the headline states! I was excited to trial the 0% range as I'm becoming more conscious of the ingredients in my haircare regime. The shampoo did a great job at lathering and thoroughly cleansing my scalp without drying my strands. I enjoyed the scent, and consistency of the product itself. The bottle is a great size and not much shampoo is required to achieve the desired results, which ends up being even better value! Pantene pulled through with another effective and affordable product :)

Great shampoo we used it as a family and we all loved and enjoyed it. It has a lovely fresh clean smell product is a different sort of shampoo it doesn’t lather up as much as a normal sharp but it still works the same you can feel it clean your scalp leaving the head and hair fresh clean and smooth. I would use again as a weekly shampoo for the family it’s very nice to see a supermarket product with out all the chemicals and I no it’s safe for my son to use overall A great product would recommend to family and friends as a good option or you don’t buy salon shampoo

Really good product that has managed to actually do what it promises. My hair felt much healthier and smooth when I used the shampoo alongside the other products in the range. The shampoo bottle is easy to use and not heavy and bulky. The quantity for the price is very generous and well worth it. I have recommended this product to multiple people who have trouble with frizz and flyaways and so far all have purchased it and have been very happy with it's performance. I will definitely be buying again and this product has restored my faith in Pantene as a brand.

As the name suggests, this shampoo really does leave my hair smooth and sleek and I just love it. Now that the weather’s changing, going into those warmer days with a bit more moisture in the air, I could really see the impact of the humidity on my hair. It was hello frizzy hair day every time I went out, which I always anticipate with my naturally curly hair that doesn’t like even the tiniest bit of moisture in the air. It’s almost as if this shampoo acts as a conditioner because it just tames my hair so efficiently and coupled with the Pantene’s conditioner and leave-in cream, my hair has never looked or felt better. Highly recommend!

Over the past 6 months I have tried a few budget friendly/ grocery store smoothing ranges and this range has surprised me! If you have trialled Pantene before you pretty much know what scent you're going to get and this range is no different. My partner has even commented on how great my hair has been smelling. You only need a small amount of this shampoo as it does lather well. I shampoo twice to remove ant excess oils and I notice it makes a difference and I only need to shampoo twice a week. Overall my hair health has improved. My hair is easier to maintain as there is less knots as the range has helped smooth and eliminate the frizz. I've been taking a hair health supplement the last few months and I have baby hairs and fly aways as a result, and I have noticed the range has controlled these.

We’ve all grown up with Pantene products, and I feel like their hair care products are often overlooked in our never ending search for “the next best thing” when it comes to hair products, and it really shouldn’t be, because it never fails to deliver really really good hair care products. This shampoo is a very creamy consistency which is contrary to most other shampoos I’ve tried, I feel like this makes it a lot more gentle on hair and this was evident when I used the shampoo and didn’t have that horrible squeaky feeling afterwards! The shampoo lathers really well, this is important for me as I have very thick hair which is hard to wash if the shampoo doesn’t lather well. It also means you don’t have to waste money by using too much product! The shampoo has the traditional Pantene smell which I love, it’s a gorgeous scent that lingers after you’ve used the product and your hair has dried. Value for money? Yes! You won’t find a better product on the market for quality, price, and such a large amount of product. I’d recommend this product for everyone, give it a try, you’ll love it!

I really loved the smell of this product! It made my entire bathroom smell amazing! I used it in conjunction with the conditioner and leave in conditioner treatment from the same range and felt my hair looked shinier and tangled less than usual. It produced the perfect amount of lather and rinsed really easily. The ingredients might not be the 'best' (definitely give them a read if you're fussy about what you use) but I'd still definitely recommend, especially if you don't dye your hair or use much heat on it.

I have fine curly hair and like my curls to be as voluminous as I can make then and this shampoo tames them too much. It's great at cleaning my scalp and hair as it is more moisturising than most other shampoos. It also smells great and it's free of nasties and I did notice that my hair is less frizzy when I use it. However, I realised that because I want my hair to have volume, I can't use a shampoo that is so good at taming it and reducing frizz. If you have thick curly hair or want your hair to be straighter, this shampoo is probably going to be perfect for you and at this price point, it's worth trying.

The bottle is easy to open and doesn’t get stuck like some other brands. I accidentally dropped the bottle in the shower and it didn’t break or crack the lid at all. Durability is great. It smells really lovely and it helps to maintain my normally fine hair which often goes frizzy with other products. This product has kept it quite well maintained. This combined with the conditioner & fly away leave in is a perfect trio for me to use. I have even used it for my daughters fine hair and it has helped in less frizz and less knots in the morning when she wakes.

This Pantene pro-v smooth & sleek is a great shampoo. It help with my frizzy dry hair. It comes in great packaging and apply's easily. The smell is lovely and fresh and it has a very creamy texture and lathers up well. After using this shampoo I then use the smooth and sleek conditioner and rinse and then i put the leave in cream after I towel dry. My hair feel so smooth and fresh and moisturised. I definitely noticed it reduced frizz. I love how there are 0% paragons, mineral oils or colorants.

Product is good for controlling frizz and oil in hair between washes, it’s super fragrant and has a thick texture. It makes an incredibly strong lather which permeates the hair and leaves it feeling squeaky clean and smoother than ever. This product has that signature Pantene scent and is a great addition to your regular routine if your hair is frizzy, hard to control or unnecessarily oily. The product does however leave a residue and an added weight to the hair which can be hard to remove. The bottles are also easily breakable and have a tendency to leak

Pantene Pro V Smooth and Sleek Shampoo, is a budget friendly shampoo which contains no silicones, parafins, mineral oils and colourants. Packaging Design: It is available at most retailers in a 375ml flip top white bottle with Pantene’s signature gold labelling. The flat top lid has been designed so the bottle can be either stood right way up or flipped on its top. This ensures nearing the end of the product no shampoo is wasted allowing the shampoo to flow to the opening of the bottle, ultimately reducing product wastage. The bottle also displays the Australian recycling label meaning the packaging can be recycled after use. The range of Pantene Smooth products also have a green swatch on the bottle so the products can be easily linked and matched when on the supermarket shelves. Product: The shampoo is a white thick liquid, with a strong floral and citrus fragrance; the fragrance is quite overpowering and remained in my hair after washing. The shampoo created a good amount of lather in my long thick hair, it removed hair products and oily build up from my hair. Ingredients: The shampoo contains 0% silicones, parafins, mineral oils and colourants, however it does contain sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate, commonly used in many shampoos. These sulphates help the shampoo remove dirt and oil from the scalp and hair, however people with sensitive skin may find these ingredients irritating to the scalp. While for people with oily hair the addition of sulfates helps to remove excess oil. Personality I did not find the shampoo irritating. Overall the shampoo is a product decent for the cost, it removed built up dirt and hair products without causing any irritation. The fragrance is a little strong for me, and I found it did not nourish my hair on its own. The ends of my hair are damaged and were left feeling dehydrated without the use of conditioner. The shampoo did work nicely when combined with the other products in the range including Pantene’s smooth conditioner and leave in treatment.

I’ve been using the Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek Shampoo for a week now and I am impressed with the results. My hair has become noticeably less frizzy and it is sleek and straighter instead. The shampoo applies to the hair smoothly and washes out easily without leaving any residue. I love how the shampoo has a pleasant fragrance which isn’t too overwhelming. I only gave 4/5 stars because the bottle only has a flat surface on the bottom part of the conditioner bottle and this is where the lid is. As a result, a lot of product tends to come out each use. However, I would definitely recommend this product as it is affordable and tames my frizzy hair.

I received this Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek Shampoo complimentary of the review Crew for my honest opinion. I feel bad to say what my first statement was to my partner was "I couldn't believe it's Pantene!?"It really has a professional feel and effect. I washed with the Shampoo first followed with conditioner and then the leave in creme. It had a very nice smell, a creamy texture. I loved how it was very easy to apply and left my hair feeling fresh and soft. I'm very Impressed, I would recommend and I will definitely be consider purchasing.

As someone who has never been able to find a good product for frizzy hair at a reasonable price, I thought this may have been the answer. But unfortunately there was no wow factor. It did leave my hair a little greasy making it less frizzy, but did nothing for my dry scalp. With the flakiness becoming worse after washing. However, the smell was amazing and for someone with non frizzy hair, this may be an excellent product. Unfortunately this was not the right product for me. Although, the outcome for me may have also been a result of letting my hair air dry, instead of styling dry.

I have been using this in conjunction with the conditioner and leave-in cream in the same range. I have thick curly hair but having recently colored my hair (pre-lockdown) my hair was left as a frizzy mess unless I straightened it. This shampoo has been good at leaving my hair feeling soft and smooth and less frizzy. Pros: smells great, good at tackling frizz Cons: my roots feel oily quicker and instead of washing my hair 1-2 times a week, I’ve found that I need to wash my hair more often. This has been my least favorite in the range but would recommend it to someone who doesn’t have naturally oily hair and wants something economical .

I find it challenging to find the right shampoo for my thick frizzy black hair. I was really excited to try this shampoo because it says "Pantene Pro-V Smooth and Sleek" and I couldn't wait to experience the 'sleek' effect. Now that I've finally tried it, I couldn't be happier, it left my hair feeling fresh, clean, lightweight and smooth. For someone with thick hair, it was really good to feel my hair lighter. My hair also felt hydrated and smelt really nice. My hair is wavy and prone to frizz but after using this shampoo my hair felt silky and smooth. I would recommend this for anyone with wavy, curly, thick and frizzy hair and even for those with dry hair.
