Pantene Pro-V Colour Protection Shampoo

I received the Pantene Pro-V Colour Protection Shampoo to trial. Haven’t used Pantene in years! But this product is beautiful. Smells delicious, offers a faint scent post wash and dry. It’s is on the runnier side, but I used my regular amount and it lathered easily and satisfyingly. My hair colour is needing some refresh, so couldn’t attest to how well it holds colour, but given the formulation I wouldn’t be concerned. Have used the product a couple of times and my hair, which is usually coarse and frizzy, is noticeably smoother and softer. (The shampoo was used in conjunction with the conditioner from the same range and Pantene’s biotin hair mask) Would recommend to anyone looking to trial this affordable but quality product.

I really like this product. I was really pleasantly surprised at how nice the lather was and the smell is fresh and long lasting. I have my roots darkened and blonde highlights put throughout and the colour protection shampoo kept it looking shiny and the streaks stayed vibrant. It pairs really nicely with the colour protection conditioner. I have used Pantene products in the past and have never been let down and this one also hits the mark. It keeps my bleached sections from becoming dry and reduces the breakage that sometimes occurs with highlighting. I will definitely continue to purchase this product!

The Pantene Pro-V Colour protection shampoo really impressed me. It comes the standard Pantene bottle with flip top lid. The shampoo comes out easily and a good amount. It is creamy and lathers nicely, glides through when applying to hair. I LOVE the smell, it is super fruity. The fragrance doesn't last after the wash but makes washing nice. I used this shampoo with either the 3 minute miracle treatment or biotin miracle mask and my hair was so smooth and shiny the next day, without any frizz. My colour looked fresh and shiny. Very impressed with this product and would recommend, especially at such a bargain price!

I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and I’m impressed. I have colour treated hair and I’ve been using this other shampoo to make sure it keeps my colour for longer but it cost me more $$. With this Pantene colour protection I found it worked exactly the same but with a smaller price tag. Now only my colour wasn’t striped, it lasted longer and this shampoo along with the conditioner left my hair super soft and smooth. I’m quite surprised that I’ve been paying quite a lot for other shampoos when there are affordable alternatives. I would highly recommend to give this a go. It’s worth it.

I received Pantene Pro-V Colour Protection Shampoo to try. The product comes in a generous 375 ml bottle for $7.99. Which is a bargain, especially when you read what the product will do. It claims to improve, protect and revive colour treated hair by penetrating into the hairs core to cleanse with micro-polishers to smooth and refine the outer layer of hair. Whilst trialing for the first week, my hair felt soft, light no shiny. It kept my colour in without fading, so it definitely does protect your colour from washes. My scalp felt like it was really cleansed and removed build up of products. Foams up perfectly, only need a small amount for a great clean. Doesn’t feel heavy or leave any residue. I highly recommend.

After receiving these I've been using the Pantene Pro-V Colour Protection Shampoo for over two weeks now and was nicely surprised how the shampoo left my hair soft, moisturised, smooth and more healthier too! My coloured hair still looks like it's freshly dyed (even with packet dye!) and see little colour loss after washes. I would definitely would repurchase again if you regularly dye your hair and in need of colour protection & repair from the chemicals. Bonus how affordable it is and shoes Pantene has come a long way with their product formulas.

This shampoo is an all round good product. The smell is pleasant and not too over powering. It foams up really nicely with a normal amount of product. I shampoo twice to really get my hair clean and the second lather was very foamy, my hair felt very clean afterwards. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks so far so it’s hard to tell weather the colour protection is working. I have balayage hair and haven’t noticed a change or dulling in the colour as of yet. Pairs well with the conditioner and treatment. Decent product for a good price.

The Pantene Pro-V Colour Protection Shampoo is amazing. I had gone off Pantene for a few years because I always felt it left a film on my hair so within a day or two I was washing it again when I can usually go 3-4 days at least. But I was lucky enough to be given the chance to trial this gorgeous smelling, lightweight shampoo which is brilliant and I will definitely be repurchasing. It has made my lockdown, dried out hair feel so amazingly soft and my neighbour standing on the road could smell the beautiful yet not overbearing scent of it from my driveway which I thought was very impressive. This shampoo works so well with the biotin mask I actually didn’t use conditioner at all.

I think a lot of us remember back to the days when Pantene didn't have the best reputation so I did try this product with some hesitancy. After reading the bottle and the ingredients list, I was pleasantly surprised to see they have moved away from the harsh products and this shampoo is about protecting and nourishing. This shampoo has a great texture and scent, and it left my hair feeling clean without feeling dry. I haven't had my hair coloured since March (thanks, lockdown!) so I can't comment on that aspect however I will continue using this shampoo and see how it goes when I am finally able to get my hair done.

I was very fortunate enough to be able to trial Pantene Pro-V Colour Protection Shampoo. I’m from Melbourne and before lockdown 6.0, I went from black hair to a lighter brown with foils. Not being able to access exactly what I needed from a salon, I had used this in between washes. I was worried my colour wouldn’t last long however this shampoo protected my colour a lot longer than I expected. It didn’t change the colour or tone of my hair either, which was fabulous! I found that it really cleansed my roots without damaging or left feeling dry. It foams up nicely and rinses out without leaving residue. Packing is pretty basic but the actually formula makes up for it. A little truly goes a long way and I’m super happy with my results. I will purchase again and highly recommend.

It has been a while since I have used Pantene as I have been opting to use Shampoos that are more natural. Therefore it was a pleasant surprise to hear that their formulas now does not contain paraffin, mineral oils, and colourants. When I opened the bottle, it had the classic Pantene smell - fresh and feminine. Unlike some shampoos, you only need a little for it to foam nicely and to lather the hair completely. After rinsing, my hair feels fresh and clean, sleek and smooth. I would agree with other Reviewers that it is closest to a salon range product without the salon price tag. Definitely would recommend and use again.

Thanks to review crew for allowing me to try this product! Overall, it's an average shampoo. The scent is quite strong like all Pantene products which I don't really enjoy to be totally honest unfortunately. It's got a runny consistency and is easy to apply. It lathers quite nicely too which is good. What I will say though is it made my hair quite greasy quickly. I usually wash my hair twice per week, but this made it go oily the next day. It didn't really do anything for colour protection for me and it made my hair super fragile. Since using it my strands break very easily. Overall, it's an ok shampoo but I wouldn't purchase it again and will continue using my usual all-natural and non-toxic shampoo as it works much better for my hair.

I really liked this shampoo as I dye my hair regularly I like to use shampoos made to protect my hair and preserve the colour and vibrancy for as long as possible. Trying to find a good shampoo can be difficult especially an affordable one but these days I am always looking for good bargains in my hair care. This one has worked great. It left my hair feeling soft and clean and did not cause my colour to fade. I really like it and would recommend if you are looking for a good drug store shampoo for colour treated hair.

My new go-to affordable shampoo is nothing but amazing! It ticks every box and meets every need I have when it comes to my hair! Before I used this product my hair was dull, dry and damaged now it is shiny, silky and healthy. It has illuminated the colour of my hair and has locked in it's colour! The smell of this product is amazing and it last for days. This shampoo also leaves my hair feeling clean and nourished from root to tip! If you have blond hair like me it will keep your hair looking shiny and healthy and stop it from turning brassy! I can't recommend this enough.

This shampoo is your go to if you’re after an affordable product as a tiny amount goes a long way, the product really foams and deep cleans your hair and the smell is just beautiful. During shower you can already feel that the gentle ad super creamy formula does clean without stripping your hair, so tou can fell the silky texture one have your hair dry. I’d recommend this one pairing with its matching conditioner for better results!

The Pantene Pro-V Colour Protection Shampoo smells absolutely amazing and the scent stays in your hair for so long afterwards, it's amazing!! It lathers very well and rinses out very easily. I found that it cleanses your hair quite well, I did find it left a coating on me hair which made my super oily roots more oilier than usual by day two after washing though. The packaging is very easy to use in order to get the right amount out. I felt like it did protect the colour in my hair and overall was quite satirised with this product.

This shampoo made my hair feel amazingly soft and also made my colour look nice and shiny and bright! I have been getting my hair dyed blonde for a while now and this shampoo is now my go to for making sure my hair looks great and feels healthier! I also found it made my colour look really good and my hair has never felt so healthy! The product also smells great and has gotten me compliments for how it smells, my hair dresser even said that my hair looked amazing before my last colour! I also have found the shampoo lasts for a while and leaves my hair feeling really cleansed from product buildup and makes my strands feel healthier and less straw like (sometimes dyed hair feels like this). I also liked how this product didn’t leave my hair sticky or tough to brush out, and I found the ingredients worked well with my naturally curly hair type and also with how my hair can get dry easily due to the curly ness. I definitely would use this product again and couldn’t recommend it enough to friends, family and anyone especially people who have thick, curly hair like me or anyone who wants to have softer hair once it’s been coloured! It definitely retained my colour for much longer then other shampoos! I give it a 10/10 and I hope y’all love it as much as I do!

The Pantene Pro-V Colour Protection Shampoo comes in a large white bottle with flip top lid. The shampoo itself has a strong floral fragrance and is fairly easy the distribute and lather through the hair. The shampoo was easy to wash out and left my hair feeling clean but a little dry. I didn't see any particular benefits in locking in my hair colour, maybe with continued use I might find my hair dye stays more saturated for longer. I do have bleached blonde foils so this product might work better with other colours of dyes. Overall, I am interested to see if this shampoo will help my hair colour last longer.

Having coloured treated hair I have tried a lot of colour protecting shampoos before and haven’t quite yet found a ride or die I was pleasantly surprised by this the scent was lovely nice and soft, I have thick wavy/frizzy colour treated hair and this shampoo left my hair looking super shiny and felt really soft. I usually wash my hair every 3 days and found that it didn’t make my hair any oily unlike other Pantene products in the past I was glad to see they didn’t contain any nasties as I try to avoid them when I can. The packaging was like most Pantene shampoos slimline and crisp with the classic gold lid I can definitely see my self continue using this to see more results!
