OGX Blonde Enhance + Purple Toning Shampoo

This shampoo worked wonders on my hair! Not only toned my hair well but it also made it soft and shiny. It lathered well and I only required a small amount to use on my waist length hair. The end result was that my hair smelt nice, felt great and healthy! My hair colour had faded from a copper to a light brown/blonde tone and so this product definitely helped to revive the colour and tackle the brassiness. The product was particularly effective when used with the toning drops. This product is a must have for all blondes and people with dyed hair that have blonde tones. It's a good fix for in between visits to the salon.

I trialled the blonde toning shampoo for 4 weeks. I used it 3 times a week along side the purple toning drops. I have wavy thick hair with blonde highlights. I found I had to use a large amount of the shampoo to be able to get a good lather through my hair - I have almost finished the bottle with only 4 weeks use. I have used many different toning shampoos in my hair and I found that this brand doesn’t compare to others. I tried leaving the product for longer periods each time I used it but still didn’t feel like the brassiness was removed from my hair at all. I found the scent and the cleanliness of my hair were great but for my hair there are much better products on the market when looking for a nice light blonde colour.

This OGX Purple Toning Shampoo, was a little disappointing. It was too purple so it gave a dirty look to my hair and was overtoned with purple hints. It dried my hair out a little also. The smell was nice and it left my hair feeling clean. I would not buy again on the count of it overtoning my hair. This is probably better for darker ash blondes who need more toning. A little bit of this shampoo goes a long way. I paired this shampoo with the OGX coconut moisture conditioner. I wouldn’t use this shampoo if your hair is really brittle either as it may dry it out too much.

The OGX toning shampoo is one that I was reluctant to try as most purple shampoos usually dry out my hair and leave me with spilt ends. This product however, increased my hairs hydration and softness within only two washes! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this shampoo and how well it it left my hair looking and feeling. If your someone like me who doesn’t like to use purple toning shampoos all the time you can safely use this once a week and know that you won’t experience any yellow or brassy tones! A perfect product to help restore your blonde moment that’s for sure

This shampoo is critical for blondes regularly bleaching their roots. It is effective from the first use in removing those brassy yellow tones that other purple shampoos can’t fix. It is a beautifully fragrant shampoo which leaves your hair smelling amazing, and with a soft and shiny glow. Best results tend to be from leaving it in for about 4-5 minutes. I found that any longer would risk a few purple strands - but these fade within a few days. Would highly recommend this product to any recent or long term blondes.

Like other reviewers, I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with OGX Blonde Enhance + Toning Shampoo. My hair is incredibly prone to breakage, fly aways and frizz. It is also my downfall that I enjoy blonde hair that I don’t naturally have so of course there are frequent trips to the salon for bleaching and highlights which can cause ongoing damage. I found OGX to be a really great blend of toning but also getting my hair to a healthier stage. It was smoother, stronger and completely without the brassy tones I hate so much!

It is a good quality purple toning shampoo. I would say that this one has a medium toning capacity as I know that with some other brands my fingers, nails, and cuticles all become purple from the concentration and strength of the purple dye in the shampoo. That doesn't really happen with this shampoo. However, this shampoo does the intended job, it tones the hair really nice and does not strip it from hydration. My hair is soft, it smells nice and it looks healthy. I will continue to use this product and I recommend it to old the blonds out there.

Great purple shampoo! It is quite concentrated in colour which had me worried but I always shampoo twice and this did over tone my hair! Was happy that it resulted in a clean blonde and not an over toned purple silver mess which I have had happen with Salon brands! Would recommend to any blondes on a budget, it left my hair soft and smelling beautiful and didn’t dry my hair out like other purple shampoos have. I used in conjunction with purple toning drops mixed with conditioner and it hasn’t given my hair a yucky colour even with both!

Every blonde needs to add this shampoo into their hair care products. Like throw away any other blonde shampoo you have cos I promise this one was made by the hair gods! I usually struggle to keep my blonde looking fresh in between visits to the hairdressers but since I’ve been using this I have noticed how fresh my hair looks every hair wash day and how many people have asked if I’ve had my hair done recently. I love how vibrant it makes my blonde and how clean my hair feels after using it. I don’t think I’ll use a different blonde shampoo after trying this one!

What a great design and product is the OGX Blone Enhance + Toning Shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling extra smooth and healthy looking and cannot say enough about the same range OGX Purple drops toner! Although the shampoo is great on its own to work the magic, but I also used the purple drops with the conditioner and never were able to achieve such a lovely result and get rid of the brassiness in blonde hair. I really love the packaging, and the way you hold it and does not slide of your hands. Also super cute :) I highly recommend this product for blonde hair, absolutely a must have.

Great purple shampoo at a great price point. This shampoo didn't dry my hair out as much as some other similar products had, and certainly worked well to keep yellowness at bay. I would like to keep using this one a bit longer to see how it works long term and how it protects to health of my hair - but initial results are great and it has a lovely smell! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a purple toning shampoo product. I like to alternate it with a non-purple shampoo when using, as my hair is toned a more golden blonde, and this works well to keep it in the desired tone.

I typically love OGX shampoo and conditioner and this one was no different. I was super excited to see a purple toning range because my hair is bleached blonde and it's so hard to keep the brassiness down. I use this item a couple of times a week as a regular shampoo and I have found that it has really made my hair less yellow and more white/silver toned which is exactly what I wanted. I've tried heaps of different purple shampoos all claiming to tone but a lot don't work, so I was pleasantly surprised that this one did! I will say that you have to keep using for a while to see results though.

First time trying the blonde range for the OGX Brand. I currently have long highlighted hair and found a little goes a long water , foams up nicely and spreads evenly. Very luxurious feel and scent. Tones the hair evenly and doesn't leave nasty purple/blue patches. Can use once a week as it does strip the hair of its natural oils and leaves the hair clean and fresh. The Keratin leaves a nice smoothing feel and Shine. For extra toning would recommend using the toning drops by OGX. Overall great shampoo and affordable and accessible is always a bonus, especially for blondes.

I used the OGX Blonde Enhance Purple Toning shampoo for well over a month and whilst everyone’s hair is very different, this product wasn’t for me. The pros I would say are, it left my hair blonde and took away any brassy colour which was amazing, however I’m not sure if my hair is too thin or my scalp too sensitive but after using I found my hair became quite greasy between washes very quickly, I also found sensitive areas on my scalp so unsure if this is potentially too strong for my skin type. I would definitely recommend you try for yourself as I’m sure this would be an amazing product for others but it was just not right for me.

I have tried out the OGX Blonde shampoo for a few washes now and I can say that my blonde hair is looking just as good as when I first got it done after every wash. This shampoo eliminated the orange/yellow tones in my hair (natural redhead leads to many unwanted undertones). The keratin added to the shampoo has definitely helped my hair so much, it feels stronger and has lessened the frizz I normally get after washing. It also doesnt feel as drying as some other shampoos I have used in the past which is a big bonus for me as I tend to have drier hair due to bleaching.

My hair has really enjoyed using the OGX Blonde Enhance + Purple Toning Shampoo. The product is a great medium consistency; spreadable but not too runny, which made it easy to use and spread through my hair. I tend to use about a palm full of product, to really ensure I have enough for my very long hair. There is a slight smell to the product that is very pleasant and not too overpowering. I have used this shampoo for every wash on my hair the last few weeks, and my hair has not turned purple and has maintained its healthiness! My hair is shiny and strong after prolonged use, which is uncommon for similar products in other brands.

I was quite impressed with this OGX purple shampoo. The consistency of the shampoo is really thick and gelatinous, lathers easily, scent isn't overpowering and makes my hair look refreshed and brighter without overtoning it. It is a little on the drying side for my hair (just make sure you condition well afterwards) but this is nothing new with purple shampoos. I liked the thicker formula personally because I find I get splotches of purple around my shower if it is too runny. I love the purple bottle - very easy to see and find amongst my other products.

This is one of the best purple shampoos I’ve tried! Purple shampoos are a love-hate sort of situation for me. I love the way they make my hair look, but I hate how drying they can be, and I’ve definitely had my fair share of purple-tinged strands from leaving them on too long! While this is definitely a strong formula, and you need to watch that you don’t leave it on too long, it’s far less drying than other purple shampoos I’ve used. I love how it toned the brass out of my hair, freshening up my blonde while leaving it feeling clean but not dry and brittle. For the price, you can’t go wrong with this one, and I’d go as far to say that this is the best supermarket/chemist purple shampoo on the market.

I have never tried OGX before so I didn't know what to expect, especially when it comes to purple shampoos. This shampoo left my hair feeling soft and nourished, which is uncommon for a purple shampoo as they tend to be quite drying. While this doesn't leave a strong purple deposit on my hair, it is good for more regular use rather than a traditional purple shampoo which can overtone the hair and turn it that dull grey colour. These bottles are also great for travel as they aren't too big and fit quite securely in bags.

I currently have bleached balyage blonde hair on natural black hair. My hair is normal / dry, but good condition. I was pleasantly surprised by this shampoo because whilst I have hair in good condition, it does dry out very easliy if I use a poor product. This product smells nice. It was easy to apply and did not dry out my hair like a typical purple shampoo. It tones well. I would reccommend this product to others. It is not as strong as the ogx toning drops (which is a strong toning product), however still very very effective.
