NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Glow Shots

Using the soft plush applicator that double as the lid I gentle glide soft tip over my eyelid to reveal the most beautifully warm raspberry shimmering shadow. Good after one swipe over my eyelid for a more subtle look but wow a full bodied solid shiny shimmering shadow once you glide it over once more. If you have very steady hands you could apply this just with the applicator but I don’t so I like to blend this in straight away with my fingertips, a cotton tip or eyeshadow brush. All ways of blending work great and I think it’s fantastic that this liquid shadow gives you just enough time to apply and blend whilst quickly setting. Long wearing this has always lasted well staying hydrated and in place, it doesn’t crack, dry out or flake. I have work it on its own straight onto my skin after cleansing, on top of shadows and my personal favourite way recently has a little burst of pink to my cheeks as a highlighter. This is a fun versatile liquid shadow that I would recommend to everyone.

This is a liquid eyeshadow that comes in a clear square tube with a sponge applicator and contains 7.5ml of product. I have it in 'Come Thru Coconut' which is a cool white. The formula has some nice additions like caffeine, ascorbyl glucoside and glycerin. Due to the runny texture, this is good for all over colour, but not that easy to use to highlight certain areas (for example, inner corners of the eyes). Once applied, it is quite blendable. It doesn't irritate my eyes and doesn't accentuate fine lines. Overall a fun product to give your eyes a bit of a pop.

I got this in twisted tangerine and I love love love the shade. It’s soo gorgeous. I have a caramel skin tone and this shade compliments my skin well. It’s so easy to apply and the pigment is to die for. it doesn’t crack or fade away like some liquid eyeshadows. This stayed on all day and didn’t fade away a one bit. I was wearing this for over 8 hours and it only went away after I used an eye makeup remover to remove it. I highly recommend . Such a gorgeous color. I’m really excited to try the other shades as well as I’m super they are super gorgeous too.

I tried the glow shot twisted tangerine it’s a beautiful colour that can be applied lightly or if going out will build up to a nice strong colour. A little goes a long way. During daytime wear I only needed a tiny bit of product to create a beautiful natural shimmery glow. The liquid eye shadow dries quickly. My days are really busy and active and this held up all day and didn’t smudge. You get a lot of liquid eye shadow in the container so it will last a long time. I’m loving liquid eye shadow and can’t wait to try some of their other colours.

Nyx Ultimate Glow Shot is a liquid eye colour that comes in different shades. I was lucky enough to have the chance to try it in Highkey Lychee. It is so sparkly and appealed to me because it seemed to be a good base eye colour that only needs one more shade in order to finish eye makeup quickly and easily. It was easy to apply it from the tube because there is just enough product on the applicator to fully cover my eyelid. It stayed on for a whole day without needing any touchups. I didn't notice any flaking or fading. During office days, I would mostly just use it as an eyeliner but nothing would hold me back on the weekends. The Glow Shot comes in so many different colours, that I think everyone would find a colour from their selection. I plan to purchase Raspberry Rave next.

NYX is one of my favourite makeup brand that's affordable with quality. It's my first time trying out the Professional Makeup Ultimate Glow Shots and I had high hopes. This glow shots can be used on top of your eyeshadow which adds a layer of depth which is how I use it. The glitter particles are very fine with the perfect ratio which means it elevates your overall eye look without going overboard. This eyeshadow topper is long lasting and doesn't mess with up with your eyeshadow. It comes in wide range of colour selections which some can be use as highlighter as well. Decent price point, good quality and can be used as eyeshadow topper or highlighter. Nothing to fault.

I picked the shade Highkey Lychee which is a light golden sandy colour with a blue pearl finish. It is quite sheer and somewhat buildable. I've found that this is best applied with it's applicator brush and then while it's still wet I use my fingertip to blend it out. A small brush also works. Because this is a light shade it's also perfect for using as a highlighter on the high points of my cheeks, my brow bone, my nose and cupids bow. When I applied this just with the applicator and didn't blend it out I found it to be quite wet and took some time to dry down so by using my fingertip to blend it out my finger also soaks up some of that wetness helping it to dry sooner. When I wore this as an eyeshadow for a night out it wore for around 6 hours without creasing.

I had a family birthday weeknight dinner this week and thought it was the perfect opportunity to create a gorgeous solid eyeshadow. I love that on the lid there is a eye perfect for when you’re in a hurry as a little reminder that it’s eyeshadow not a lip gloss as it could be easily mistaken as one. After cleansing my face, doing my skin care, primer and foundation I twist off the lid/applicator and simply glided it along my eyelid, the sponge tip on the applicator was so plush and gentle and I found application extremely easy. The colour is really pigmented and solid and all I needed to do was lightly blend it in around the corners and creases in my eyelid with a fingertip, it feels light as a feather on my eyelids and although it goes on wet it dries really quickly without any sticky or heaviness. I didn’t need to apply any further one swipe was more then enough for a beautiful golden glitzy glam. I would highly recommend the NYX Ultimate Glow Shots - Golden Goji.

This product is easy to apply and dries quick. The glitter seems to be intact and did not fall out as I expected it would be. It lasted longer as well. It's good for a casual wear as it's not as highlighted as shown on the pictures. Only thing I didn't liked is the applicator which looks a bit like a lipgloss applicator and it doesn't fit well when I tried to apply on my eyelids as I have a more curved eyelids. But this is just my individual preferences. They have pretty good selection of shades and colours. The glitter does helped to make your makeup standout but more subtle. Give it a go...

I love that this eyeshadow is so effortless to achieve maximum results with minimal effort! Just one or two sweeps over each eyelid is required for a deep, solid/highly pigmented colour. The application couldn’t be easier I have used it over a base eyeshadow and on its own And it’s perfect every time that also stays in place for the whole time until I remove it. You would think a product like this would be messy but it’s not all the glitz and glam that comes with this deep golden colour is shimmer not a spec of glitter to be seen. It also sets so quickly, there’s no stickiness or waiting around for ages by the time I applied it then applied my mascara it was completely set. Golden Goji is the perfect golden shimmer when you want that golden shimmery glow. I highly recommend this liquid colour and range.

I've chosen the silver shade . The formula is good for a liquid eye product. I do not wear makeup usually. So not an expert. I apply it lightly, to have a hint of silver on my eyes and it looks great for what I am after. The shadow does not flake off. And stays put. I did also try it as an silver eyeliner and love it this way. Does not irritate my sensitive eyes either. Do not know how long it will last without drying out in the tube, as I had it only for couple of weeks. And there is so much of the product in the packaging, it will take me ages to use it up if ever. Definitely a good affordable product for a bit of a bling.

A great way to spice up your eye makeup with these NYX ultimate glow shots. I got mine in the shade Golden Goji which looks like a shimmery bronze, a perfect colour that could be worn during the day or evening. Plus I thought it would work well for my skin tone. The glow shots are a liquid eye colour and you use the applicator to apply the colour all over your lid. In the bottle it looks amazing so I was hoping it would look just as good on my eyes. I started off with one coat. It is definitely shimmery which I really like and super easy to apply as it just glides on. It also gives your eyes a nice glow, almost like a dewy/glossy look. The first coat wasn't as pigmented and looked more sheer. The liquid is thin and dries fairly quickly so I waited for about a minute or two and then applied a second coat. It became more pigmented so I would say that you can layer it on depending on how deep of a colour you want. You can wear this on its own or you can add liner or other colours for a more done up look.
