NIVEA WonderBAR Sensitive

IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT! was struggling to find a cleanser that would suit my recently learnt sensitive skin. After the first day of using this soap as well as cutting out recently learnt products that were causing my skin to react, I used this bar as well as tea tree and aloe Vera to cater to my acne which has since then (3 days) cleared up the irritation. This product has been the only product I’ve found to really change the appearance in my skin immediately and overall. After harsh products inflamed my skin and made me slowly lose my self esteem I now repaired it with the soap and I mean this sincerely, get this product if you have acne and sensitive skin.

I was really excited to try this bar cleanser, as I had been wanting to try on for a while. Upon receiving the product, I was pleased to note that the packaging is plastic free and all plain brown cardboard, so easily recycled and eco-friendly. It was also refreshing to see a product designed for sensitive skin that is fragrance free, since fragrances can be incredibly harsh and drying on the skin, and can easily upset sensitive skin. To top it off, it's 99% natural! Using this Nivea WonderBar was super simple. Wet you face and hands, lather the bar in your hands, then massage into your face. If lather is important to you, this has a wonderful, fine, soft lather, that doesn't feel stripping or drying. After rinsing, my skin felt soft and clean. A note, as I expected this cleanser to cleanse my skin, and not to remove makeup, so I did not try to remove makeup with it. I used a separate makeup remover before cleansing, on the days I wore makeup. Overall, I cannot find fault with this product! My skin loved it, I love how eco-friendly and natural it is, and, it does what it says. Would 100% recommend, and will be repurchasing, although judging from how many times I have already used it, I think this bar will last a really long time. Love love love!

I totally love this product. I love how recyclable the packaging is to start with. The product is fragrance-free which is another plus point as my skin is on the sensitive side and will break out with ordinary commercialised soap bars. The product does the job of cleansing my skin but does not leave it dry and stripped off with moisture after washing. It leaves my skin smooth and clean. I did not have breakouts since using this product, which is a really good sign for me as this just proves that it is good quality and stands on what it claims. I like this size of the product, really convenient to handle and store, is not bulky. But I think, since I know I will be purchasing this product after I use up my current one, a bigger size would serve me since I know I will be using it regularly. :)

The NIVEA WonderBAR Sensitive is a cleansing bar suitable for normal to sensitive skin. I love that it is microplastic free, and has a biodegradable formula. It comes in a simple cardboard box, without all the plastic packaging. The WonderBAR fits nicely in ones palms, and lathers up nicely to cleanse and nourish the skin. The bar is also fragrance free, and suitable for sensitive skin. Though there is a nice subtle scent. The formula is gentle and non-stripping, leaving my face feeling both clean and nourished. I would recommend this to everyone, even if you do not have sensitive skin, as it is eco-friendly and leaves the skin clean.

At first I was pretty sceptical at how well this cleansing bar would perform. The packaging itself was very exciting being only a box big enough to fit the product with no plastic inside. However, the face cleansing bar looked like a standard hotel soap bar and had zero scent. This overall left me questioning just how much good it could really do for my skin. I started using the cleaner whilst in the shower, just rubbing my hands with it then rubbing it into my face. It instantly felt soothing and weirdly comforting to my skin, as it gave off a very light soapy scent. Once I got out I could straight away see just how shiny and clean my skin appeared. It was like a ‘oh wow okay it does clean your skin’ moment. Prior to using the cleanser I had been struggling with terrible skin from what I had just made myself believe was apart of this pregnancy (currently 25 weeks). Terribly red and pimply cheeks, that wouldn’t budge no matter the multiple things I tried. Within a few days of using the ‘WonderBAR Sensitive’ morning and night following with a deeply hydrating moisturiser (for my very dry skin), my skin began to become less red and the bumps began to flatten. It’s been a few weeks now and as I sit here writing this review, I can’t help but rub my cheeks and admire how smooth and soft they feel. A stark difference to how it had felt for this past five months. All in all, the ‘WonderBAR Sensitive’ is truly very gentle on sensitive skin, doesn’t strip all the moisture, and leaves your skin both visually and texturally clean. For those sceptical like I was, it is without a doubt worth giving a go. You may just find your go to cleanser like I have.

I really appreciate the step that Nivea is taking in being more conscious of their environmental impact and hope that this is only the start of more to come from them. I have been using bar cleansers for a while now and have tried a few different brands. I did enjoy using this cleanser, it did a good job of cleansing my skin without aggravating it at all. I store my bars outside of the shower to ensure their longevity and I can tell that this bar is going to last a long time. Overall, I think I would still lean towards other brands that I have used purely from an environmental impact and ethical transparency standpoint. However I do think that this cleansing bar is a great and accessible starting point for people who would like to start to reduce their plastic waste.

I loved this product! Firstly, I was very happy to see the packaging is able to be recycled, saving the planet is very important to me! I also loved how the product uses natural ingredients that don't interfere with my very sensitive skin! My skin felt smooth and my breakout was cleared all within a few days! I also found the bar made my skin glow. Also the product is easy to use and easy to fit into a day with a busy schedule! overall, I couldn't recommend this bar enough, it worked well with my skin and I recommend it to all my fellow sensitive skin people.

From the eco friendly packaging to the natural ingredients in the soap bar, I absolutely love this product. It ticks all of the boxes I’m looking for in a facial cleanser. With no plastic and recyclable packaging, I don’t feel bad buying this product and because I know it is made from natural ingredients, I know my face won’t react badly to it, as it has in other instances I’ve tried anything new on my sensitive skin. Its gentle nature doesn’t impact the effectiveness of it though, as my face is left smooth, clean and refreshed.

One of the biggest reasons why I was excited to trial this product was the natural ingredients it claimed to have — one of the reasons why i love this new Nivea range. I have combination skin and often break out when i use harsh skincare products, but this product was soft and gentle, with a great fragrance! However, i didn't like the fact that i had to re-use the same soap, which i had previously touched, questing the hygiene factor of this product and therefore the risk of breakouts from bacteria — while it was great to try something different, i think i personally prefer a traditional cleanser in bottle format in my routine!

Firstly I really liked that the product is eco friendly! The packaging may need a little work as I didn't like that there was no security seal, and the box was pretty beat up in postage. I was also a bit confused about the purple on the front. To me it looked like it was maybe meant to be a holder for the bar, but the package just contained the white bar. As a cleanser, I wouldn't use the product by itself at night time. I found it to work nicely after I'd used another cleanser to take off any makeup. In the morning, however, I thought it was great as my skin felt clean but not overly stripped. Overall, it's a good, light cleanser but it definitely doesn't replace the need for other cleansers in your routine.

I really love that brands are starting to look at their environmental footprint in regards to plastic use in their products, especially creating products for sensitive skin I used this in the shower each morning (not using it as a makeup remover) lathering up my hands then applying too my face. Even though the packaging recommends leaving it in a cool dry place, I would probably need to purchase a plastic container to keep the bar in my cupboard, so I left it in my shower, it has held up quite well so far!

This was a really simple, yet effective product to use! It's a solid facial cleanser in the shape of a soap bar. I found that it lathers nicely into a light foam and was very easy to use. I really liked the fact that this bar is fragrance free and contains no essential oils - this is perfect for people who have sensitive skin. Albeit, I do find there is a slight earthy scent to the product, but I believe this may be due to the grape seed oil as I have checked the ingredients and there is no additional fragrance. Through my use of this product, I haven't noticed that it has aggravated my skin any way and I found my skin to be cleansed without feeling dry. However, as someone with very dry skin, I would love if this could be slightly more moisturising. I think the packaging of this product and concept of it is a standout! I love the fact that the box it comes in is fully recyclable and the fact that there is no consumption of any plastics by using this facial cleanser - it really is a step in the right direction! Would definitely recommend this product to others!

Super lovely product. Left my skin feeling clean and fresh, while still feeling moisturised and soft. Love the fresh smell of the product. Super compact and easy to use size, perfect for on the go or just at home. Helped to clear up the acne on my forehead and chin. Really loved using this product and will definitely purchase again! I have struggled with acne for a long time and after using this product for around two weeks I started to notice a difference in my skins condition. My skin felt clean, but not stripped like many other products leave my face feeling like. Super smooth and easy to apply to the skin as well, which just makes it so much easier to use. I love the smell of the product, as it’s not too overwhelming. Smells fresh and like something I would want on my face compared to other skincare products which just fill their products with unnecessary scents. The facial cleanser is in a bar soap form, which is unusual as I have never seen a face product in bar form. I actually really like how easy the product is to use even in this form. It’s super easy to rub the soap onto my hands, and then onto my face. I have really enjoyed using this product and am exciting to continue using it!

Lovely product, from packaging to product itself. The cardboard packaging sets the scene for this eco friendly product, which makes you feel you have made a good conscious choice to protect our planet. No plastic in sight. Off to a great start. The bar itself is a good size to be easily handled, sit by the sink in a small tray, and yet last an appropriate amount of time. The feel when lathered up is nice. The smell pleasant, as if the product would be nourishing for the skin. Love that it is fragrance free so only the natural smells in there which are pleasant. And my skin does indeed feel nourished after using it for a while now. It can be tricky to know how to keep a bar appropriately when we are used to plastic bottles of washes. So the instructions provided RE in and outside shower use are very handy and sensible to in life for eco newbys. Overall a stellar product. Well done for this step in the plastic free direction Nivea.

This face cleansing bar lathers nicely into a minimal foam. I use this once a night in the shower and it does not dry out my sensitive skin. I've been using it for just over a week and there are no bumps, redness or dry patches on my skin. For heavier makeup days it is better to cleanse with another cleanser and then follow up with this cleansing bar as a second cleanse. The cleansing bar works better on minimal makeup days. It also comes in a plastic free packaging which is a bonus as it is eco friendly. Overall I would recommend to try this cleansing bar if you have sensitive skin.

This face cleanser is gentle and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. It is also delicate yet an effective face cleanser that calms and soothes sensitive skin. It is great for sensitive skin as it has grape seed oil which is nourishing for the skin and optimized to your skin's pH level. It is also fragrance free which is better for sensitive skin as it does not feel too harsh on the face and leave me looking dry and red. It removed my makeup residue and acts as a good second cleanser if you double cleansing. The package is very eco friendly and u can put the wonder bar back into the box after use, however i wish it had a storage container to keep it in instead that is still eco friendly but is reusable too. Although, this is just a minor issue as the wonder bar itself uses 99% natural origin ingredients for this product which is amazing and innovative. Clean beauty is the new trend that is her to stay so it is great that this new Nivea wonder bar embodies that as it is fragrance, soap and microplastic free. The formula of the cleanser is formulated to be a vegan friendly formula as it does not use animal derived ingredients. This shows great initiative from the brand and there new face cleansing product. It is very easy to use first you Gently rub the bar in your wet clean hands. Then you apply massaging the light foam onto your face while avoiding eye contact. Finally you rinse off with water and enjoy a soft skin feel. It is very easy to use and for ingredients skeptics it contains all the following ingredients; Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Distarch Phosphate, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Aqua, Citric Acid, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Betaine, Polyglyceryl-6 Caprylate, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Coco-Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glyceryl Oleate, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides Citrate, Lecithin, Sodium Sulfate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Citrate.

I usually use liquid cleansers for my sensitive skin during the Winter months so I was super excited to try a bar cleanser to see if it worked just as well. The packaging was really cute and I love that it was eco-friendly and sustainable, a really great product initiative that I can definitely get onboard with! It’s a “fragrance-free” product, but I still noticed a subtle scent which was rather pleasant but not overpowering. It was super easy to use in the shower during my normal cleansing routine and left my skin feeling soft and clean but not dried out. I even tried double-cleansing and still found that my skin didn’t feel tight or dry. This would be great for travel without worrying about yucky leaks from bottles and I would recommend it to anyone looking to try something a bit different.

I've been using the Nivea WonderBAR once a day for just over a week and I love it! As someone with sensitive skin, there are few cleansers at this price point that leave my skin feeling clean but not dried out or irritated. It lathers well, gives a thorough but gentle clean, leaving skin feeling fresh and nourished. I kept the WonderBAR outside the shower on a soap dish and it has held its form well. I particularly like the plastic free aspect of the product. It's affordable, effective and kind to the planet. I would purchase this product and recommend to others.

Thanks to the BeautyCrew Review Crew program for sending me this product. I have sensitive and dry/combination skin, and used this product once a day at night it the shower. To use the cleanser all you need to do is rub it between wet hands like any regular bar soap, and apply directly to the face. It has a really gentle and non-stripping formula that leaves the skin clean but not squeaky. For me that's a positive as that means that it won't dry my skin out and irritate it. I really enjoyed the fact that it's fragrance free, and overall my experience with the product was quite positive. The plastic free element is the biggest draw for this product, and it doesn't disappoint. The bar remained solid in the hot shower environment while sitting on a soap dish, and was no less convenient than a liquid cleanser. Would definitely recommend to others to give it a go!

Pleasantly surprised by this one! I have pretty combo (oily t-zone, normal with some dry patches elsewhere) and often rather sensitive skin - usually in response to fragrances - and in the past I've been a little wary of soap bar style cleansers just because I find that they tend to be a little stripping. I've used this once a day for almost a week and have found this to be a pretty pleasant bar - it's a fairly small one, smaller than my palm that comes in a cardboard package, and when lathered up it produces a minimal, foam that feels quite smooth and nourishing on the skin - like you're massaging a foamy moisturiser or light oil into the skin instead of a full blown foam. Minimal scent and feels reasonably clean afterwards - so far no strange breakouts or intense dryness either, although I do occasionally feel a tiny bit of pulling on the slightly dry patch near my eye. Would be curious to see how this would affect the skin after long term use, but so far so good!
