NIVEA WonderBAR Hydrating

This product is great, I know i gave it a 3 star but thats because it would work great on some types of skin not necessarily all. I have "normal" skin usually but in winter it gets a bit dry & I wouldn't call this hydrating for dry skin... The smell is pretty, not too artificial blueberries smelling which is great. If you are sensitive to smells its not too over powering I LOVE the packaging!!! Love that its not plastic or even glass. Just completely recyclable. That is a 10/10 for me. Nice product but personally I would probably buy the sensitive next time

I haven't tried a facial cleansing bar before and this was my first time. The Nivea Wonder Bar smells DIVINE! The bar comes in an eco-friendly packaging and has Almond oil and Blueberry extracts infused. The fragrance is captivating. The bar lathers up well and does the job of cleaning the face. However, it did not give my skin any hydration. Another disappointment was the bar does not come with a container for proper storage of the bar and it does get slippery after few uses and slips off the hands. Otherwise an okay product not different from any gel or foaming face wash.

Very lucky to have received this amazing product, it’s one of a kind with so many amazing factors . The fact it’s a facial wash within a bar is so handy and and feels a lot more quicker than ordinary bottles. When using this product it has an amazing subtle smell and the product is so gentle but effective on my skin leaving it feel so soft the best it’s ever felt. One of my favourite things about this is the packaging ,I love that nivea has decided to a very eco friendly idea with packaging and it’s good to see that they are heading in the right direction .

I was lucky enough to be able to try this product from Nivea as part of the trial team. And whilst I had tried shampoo bars before I hadn't heard of or tried cleanser bars. I really loved the eco friendly packaging and even better was that Nivea had phased out the use of microplastics in the product (which i hope it is doing to all of its products). super easy to use and was a good size to fit in your hand but just put it under running water and let it lather up and you can use over your face. i had no irritation issues and i have normal/combination skin. This was good and probably would use it again but it would be good to come with some sort of really porous airing container or something to help it dry out overnight.

I was very excited to try the Nivea WonderBAR; I have never used anything like it and was glad that it is an environmentally friendly product. Overall I was quite disappointed with the WonderBAR, I found it not great at removing make-up, which is important for me when finding a cleanser I like and I found it stripped my sensitive skin too much. I did love how hydrating it felt when using the product and I do love the idea of using bar products. I recommend this product to someone who isn’t worried about sensitive skin and wants to try something that is new and exciting, as well as being hydrating and eco friendly.

I have never tried any sort of product like this and I was a little on the fence as to how well this bar would work however I've gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed was the scent, the almond and blueberry was quite soothing and fresh. This is probably by far the nicest scent I have come across in skincare for some time now. Packaging of the product was so simple and plastic free too! Using the product is also quite easy and I could not believe how soft my skin felt after use, this product leaves the skin feeling clean and hydrated without feeling stripped. I definitely think this is a great product and good value for money. I would definitely repurchase however the only thing is that I am yet to find a successful way to store it after use as it doesn't really "dry" between uses.

This bar is absolutely worth it especially considering its price and the fact that it doesn't even add to the degradation of our environment.it is very moisturising and glides very easily onto the skin and lathers beautifully and is not one of those soups that you need to put a lot of effort into washing out. it smells absolutely amazing and leaves a very natural and not overpowering scent when washed off. it left my skin feeling supple and definitely hydrated yet very clean although i would not recommend if you are looking for a heavy duty face soap as this one is in my opinion very gentle on yours skin. It left my face feeling very healthy and naturally glowy. would definitely repurchase and would further love to try out any other versions they come out with.

This product is amazing!!! By far my favourite product to review in the last 3 years iv been reviewing. It was effective on my skin as a cleanser to remove my makeup. Everything lifted easier and without any aggressive scrubbing. I use this as my daily cleanser for over a month and have seen an improvement in my skin. It smelt nice, was gentle on my skin and not drying at all. Didn't leave that stiff, dry redness that some harsh cleansers and face washes do. Love that it is environmently friendly and plastic free considering all the other plastic I use when showering (shampoo conditioner bottles etc.) I found it good as a morning cleanser to refresh my skin and take away any oil build up over night. Would highly recommend this product and I will definitely buy it again when it run outs. Would also try the other ones in the range as well.

Simple and easy to use - the packaging and the product. It's a lovely product and I love the concept - I wish you could buy a storage tin or such to pop it in as it is harder to store and keep hygienic than a regular bottle cleanser but the pros out weight the cons. Overall a great step forward in the beauty industry for sustainable and plastic free options. I think it works well and my husband trialed it as well and enjoyed using it - it was a tiny bit drying but I use a heavy duty moisturiser at night so it didn't make a difference to me.

I have dry flaky skin and this bar was quite 'hydrating' as stated on the packet once I jumped out of the shower/washed my face. Since this is a soap bar, I was worried it would melt/break apart, however it seems to hold in place. The bar has a lovely refreshing oceany smell and lathers quite quickly in your palms. My face does feel clean after using this, without having to worry about a second cleanser. I would recommend this bar to anyone who is looking an extra step to clean their face in in the shower or before bed to get rid of all the impurities throughout the day.

I received this product as part of the review crew, and all I can say is Wow!!!! I was abit sceptical at first as I’ve tried many face cleansing soap bars in the past and was left disappointed as they left my skin feeling tight and striped but this was so surprising! The scent was so light and fresh and really enjoyable, the soap lathered really beautiful and felt velvety smooth on my skin, made my skin feel super soft and revitalised after the first use! Have been using it everyday since and I’m officially in love with it hasn’t broken me out or made my skin feel tight!!

I had never used a cleansing bar, so I was interested in trying this. My first impression was that I love that the product is plastic-free and that the packaging is fully recyclable. I also liked that the packaging features the image of the product on the front - you know what you're getting. It has a nice, fresh smell and it lathered better than I was expecting. After use, my skin didn't feel stripped or dry, which was great, but it felt a little more sensitive than after other cleansers I use. I would definitely recommend this as part of a double cleanse though - areas on my T-zone didn't feel as 'clean' after one application as I am used to. My only issue with this product type (i.e. not this product specifically) is storage between uses. I already had a soap dish in the shower, so I'm storing it there and use this in the morning. But I do my nighttime skincare at the sink, so I am still leaning towards my bottled cleansers at night. Overall, I liked this product and am hoping that this sustainable packaging approach will roll out throughout Nivea's line.

The packaging of the product is so simple and cute! It's ecofriendly and smells fabulous out of the box. I used this product for a week on its own and then another week in conjunction with my regular cleanser. I did see better results on my skin when I used it as a second cleanser for any bits of stubborn makeup as it lathers realllly nicely and makes your skin feel great. I have used cleanser bars before and in the past, most have left my skin feeling a bit stripped and dry directly after drying my face before applying moisturiser but this bar makes my skin feel clean and supple right away. I was quite surprised with this product as I've been using the same cleanser for ages and was worried I would break out but this is a product I would continue using on my face again and again.

I really enjoyed using the wonder bar! At first I was a little bit hesitant that this product would actually work, but safe to say I am very pleasantly surprised! The packaging of this product is FANTASTIC!! It is eco-friendly which I love! This wonderbar firstly smelt amazing! It doesn’t have a very strong scent, but the subtle hint of almond oil and blueberry really work well together! This cleanser is super gentle on the skin, it leaves your skin feeling silky smooth after wards and it thoroughly helps to remove any build up of dirt and makeup from the skin, without harming the skins ph level. The WonderBAR is plastic-free, soap-free, certified natural 99% natural origin and vegan! I would definitely recommend this product to others who are looking for an effective, yet gentle cleanser!! 9/10 ❤️

First impressions Paper packaging and no packaging around the bar. Packaging Recyclable packaging - defs a winner from me! Would purchase it just due to that fact. Eco Certified Love that is 99% from natural origin and also a vegan formula that is not derived from animal ingredients. Makes you feel like you are doing good for the earth. Love how it nearly is plastic free as there is way too much plastic on our earth. Instructions The instructions said to lather the soap into wet hands and massage the foam onto your face but I preferred to wet my face and use the bar on my face and then use my hands to massage the foam around my face. I felt then I got a good amount of foam to clean my face. Fragrance Has a lovely subtle fragrance - this bar was almond oil and blueberry. I liked that it didn’t have a strong fragrance. Size and Shape The bar is a good size and shape that nicely fits into your hands. Overall This bar was good to use and soothing against my skin. Loved that it is from natural ingredients and earth friendly. I liked how it also said that you should follow it with moisturizer and didn’t specify that it had to be Nivea. Would use it again!

I was extremely lucky to receive this product to trial. I have used many Nivea cleansing products in the past but this was my first time using a face cleansing bar, and I am happily surprised. The bar itself is very sustainable, containing only cardboard packaging which is great for the planet. It has a minimal scent which is very fresh and pleasant. I have very sensitive dry skin, I love that this bar made my skin feel clean without stripping too much of the natural oil. I still felt hydrated and comfortable afterwards and caused no sensitivity which is great. It also foamed up nicely. I do like that the bar has a heap of applications as well. Over all I am very happy with the wonder bar and will continue to use it and purchase another once I’m finished. Thanks Nivea.

This is a great product and I really wanted it to work for my face but it didn't. It smelt amazing and left my face feeling nicely cleansed. However I became really dry and did break out, I have combination skin and can be quite sensitive. I don't like wasting products so used it as a normal soap and think I'll actually buy again. I have stubborn breakouts on back that never seem to go away. This has calmed them down so much. I would recommend this product but caution if you have sensitive skin, as a hydrating cleanser I thought it wouldn't strip my skin as much as it did but found it perfectly fine as a regular body soap.

This is the first bar cleanser I’ve seen and used, and I am so impressed! I was hesitant it would get messy but it’s as easy as lathering and applying it to the face. I absolutely love the smell of this! I can’t get enough. It’s great that there’s no plastic with the packaging whatsoever as well. I usually double cleanse with a balm and find that most cleansers don’t remove the balm fully. This managed to do that effortlessly without stripping my skin or leaving a greasy feeling. I will be repurchasing this and I hope that they release other colours/scents to try out.

To begin; what a wonderful product that is sustainable! Coming in a recyclable box, no plastic to be seen. The scent is delightful, a really fresh clean smell, not overpowering to those with sensitivities. A little goes a long way! After using it regularly the soap looks similar to when I first took it out of the box. I didn’t notice a great increase in the hydration of my skin after, I suffer from EXTREMELY dry skin especially in winter months and this made my skin feel slightly tight after use, but with a heavier moisturizer, my skin felt back to normal.

Hi, I am so pleased to get this free soap. Although I have a lot of soap collection, I enjoy this soap a lot. It is naturally light fragranced. It smells like sea. Gentle and beautiful. This soap is especially good for men to use, as my partner does not like to fragranced soap. Nivea soap is crystal blue, it gives face a great clean. This face cleaning soap create a lot of foams, it does not stripe the face off oil, but give face a good clean. It is worth to use it. The only issue is quite small I guess.
