NIVEA Rich Nourishing Body Lotion

I love all Nivea body lotions. This one is no exception. As the name suggests, it is very rich but it is what this lotion is for - nourishment. I find that this works very well on my dry skin, especially in winter. It locks in moisture when applied to damp skin immediately before shower. It takes slightly more effort to rub into skin, however it does absorb and the moisturisation is long lasting. I also like the subtle and iconic Nivea scent of this product. If I have a low budget for body lotion, this would be my winter pick.

I have the ‘48 hour intense moisturising care’ version of this Nivea Rich Nourishing body lotion and I really hate it. I wish I’d not purchased a big pump pack! It is so ridiculously thick that a pump of it doesn’t even cover half an arm. It’s almost impossible to rub in, and doesn’t seem to moisturise my skin any better than any other random body lotion. I actually wet my hands first before I pump out the lotion so that it spreads a bit more easily on my body! I’ll keep working my way through it but will not purchase again. Really disappointed.

This body lotion from Nivea has nice thick and creamy texture. It has a soft pleasant scent which is not over-powering. Due to its creamy formula it takes time to rub into the skin but within few minutes it sinks beautifully into the skin leaving it feeling soft, smooth& moisturized. I like that it does not leave behind any greasy residue. Having dry skin I like using this body lotion in winters when my skin gets extra dry & irritated. I totally love the excellent level of moisture it provides to my dry skin. I like to use this lotion twice a day once after shower and once before going to bed. With the continuous use of this product, I’ve noticed my skin looks much better and looked after. However, I feel this is truly a winter product and not for summers as it would feel quite heavy on the skin in the warmer months. This is indeed one of my favorite body moisturiser and value for money product. Overall, it is an excellent product for anyone with dry to extra-dry skin and stands true to it claims as it feels extremely nourishing on the skin due to presence of almond oil in it. 

As someone who suffers from really dry skin, I’m always on the lookout for high-quality moisturising products. This one recently caught my eye after using a similar product for a few months. I found the cream to be very hydrating & kept my skin smooth for most of the day. The size of the bottle is great value for the price and I liked that the bottle tells you the level of moisturising the cream will provide. The consistency was quite thick & felt like I was applying sunscreen but the scent was pleasant and whilst it didn’t hydrate my skin for as long as promised, it usually lasts about half a day before I need to reapply

I had a sachet sample of Nivea's body lotion which I took away with me on holidays recently and was looking forward to try it along with the Nivea creme face wash. It's been some years since I'd used Nivea cream in a tub so was curious about the other products in the Nivea range. I have dry skin and need a good hydrating body lotion to moisturise daily after showering. I found this to be of creamy consistency and was probably thicker your average lotion which makes it perfect for dry skin. For very dry skin, I'd probably recommend something more heavier and of a cream texture instead. I found that it did hydrate on contact however I'm not too sure of the long term benefits and didn't find any change in how moisturised my skin was. Overall a good affordable moisturiser but nothing really impressive.

I don't normally go for drug store brands but this Body Moisturiser is the best I have ever used, and I have tried EVERYTHING. I have a thyroid problem and it makes my skin very very dry.  I have been using this for about 6 months and don't plan on stopping anytime soon! It has a thick texture but sinks into skin beautifully, a fresh scent and the packaging is fool proof.

The NIVEA Nourishing Body Lotion is a luxurious body treatment at a cheap, affordable price and I have to say that this product is TOTALLY amazing!! I’m not one to pay lots of money for a daily body lotion or cream and I don’t think you need to as there are some great products available like this one, that do a fabulous job at a fraction of the cost. I usually buy the large 400ml pump bottle of this lotion and find that it lasts me a very long time, as the product itself is quite rich and nourishing (as the name says). It has a slightly overpowering, lingering scent, which doesn’t bother me at all as I find the fragrance really pleasant and calming. As specified on the bottle, this product claims to provide continuous moisture for 24 hours, and I have to say that my skin does stay well moisturised and hydrated even after sun exposure and during the Winter months, when I use the lotion on a regular basis. I have always had dry, irritated skin but noticed that even after one application of this body lotion I started to see that my skin was already smoother, healthier and softer. This body lotion really helped solve my dry, flaky and irritated skin issues, and I was very pleased that it did so after only a few applications. Therefore I have been using this lotion for over 4 years now, and will continue to do so as it’s truly a wonderful product that actually works. I recommend using this body lotion after a warm bath or shower as the formula is quite rich and slightly oily, so it absorbs into the skin a lot better when the skin is slightly damp. I also recommend using this lotion if you regularly tan your skin, as not only does it add a healthy,radiant glow, but it also helps fake tan apply a lot easier to the skin without it looking patchy and uneven.  Finally I recommend this body lotion to anyone with very dry or flaky skin as the formula is rich and slightly oily. It takes a little while to absorb into the skin, so it’s best to apply it at night-time and not when you’re in a hurry to get dressed. Overall this is a creamy, nourishing lotion that can be used by the whole family, so it’s definitely a great buy. 

Nivea moisturizes are my go to moisturizer. Classic scent is light. Absorbs well with no greasy feel. Applied to very dry areas nourishes my skin leaving it soft and supple. Especially good in winter.Used daily keeps dryxakin from occurring. Suitable for all body. Beautifully packaged and long lasting. A little goes a long way making product great value for money. Highly recommend.

During summer I absolutely LIVE off this amazing moisturiser! Due to a lot a shaving and warm weather, during summer my legs get very very dry. I picked up this Body Lotion from the supermarket and was so amazed at how hydrating this product is! It has a moderate, clean soapy smell, and is very thick but rubs in evenly and easily. I like to rub this lotion in after exfoliating or shaving to put the moisture back into my legs, or to even cool down any little irritations I may have. This product is just about everywhere, affordable and really does what it advertises! I recommend this product if you have dry skin - use it every day to smooth your skin and give it a healthy glow!

When it comes to a must-have daily ritual product - this is it! I've used NIVEA Rich Nouishing body lotion for at least the past 10 years, and I am SO happy with this product that I couldn't use anything else. I would need therapy if this was ever taken off the market! :)  It really is a rich and nourishing formula and definitely delivers on moisture. I use this twice daily after my shower to keep my skin soft and nourished every day. I truly believe that over the years this product has helped my skin stay youthful - even into my mid-30's.   LOVE this product!

The Nivea Rich Nourishing lotion comes in an opaque blue bottle with a pump for dispensing the product. The pump is easy to use and dispenses a generous amount of product. I bought this lotion because I need to keep my skin hydrated till my next shower.  . The Nivea lotion is opaque white in colour and thick in consistency. It has that signature Nivea scent that is hard to describe. Kind of like a bit of floral but with a youthful fresh twist. I always apply a lotion after my shower when my skin is still damp. I like to take a few pumps of this lotion and smooth it on my body from neck down to my toes. Because of the thicker consistency it is harder to work this lotion in but once it does it absorbs and doesn't leave a greasy residue. The lotion adds back the moisture I lost during my shower and keeps my skin hydrated until my next shower.  So far applying this lotion this winter has meant not dealing with dry, flaky skin as often. Keeping my skin hydrating with the lotion has been the key to keeping my skin soft and supple not dull and dry. I'm especially grateful my skin hasn't felt itchy and dry as it starts to during winter time. Apply the lotion right after my shower while the skin is still damp has been the trick to seal in the moisture and creating a barrier from moisture loss.
