NIVEA Purifying Wash Scrub

The product itself was quite effective and was able to remove most of my oil and dirt from the day. I didn’t notice any significant improvements to my skin but I really enjoyed the fact that the product was good for my skin. Without the harsh particles in other scrubs, this scrub is cleansing and makes your skin super soft. It definitely feels like a gentle scrub on the skin, mainly because it uses micro-beads rather than sharp exfoliants like walnut or coffee bean shards; it may feel too soft for some people that really want that scrubbing sensation on the skin but for me it was perfect! I will be continuing to use this product and buying a few in case it ends up discontinued or anything.

I really enjoyed trialling this product, being an avid daily scrub user! I sometimes find many face scrubs a bit too abrasive for my sensitive skin, but this one was super hydrating, gentle on the skin and had a cooling after-effect which left my face glowing after each use. I have been using it daily for almost two weeks and have ditched my old scrub in favour of using Nivea's Purifying Wash Scrub, because it is a significant improvement. It also has the added benefit of coming with a lovely, natural fragrant smell, similar to ocean breeze, which is a nice bonus. My face does seem a bit clearer too so it’s doing a good job of removing all the impurities.

I have very oily skin and this wash scrub felt cooling and refreshing, the scrub components felt more like soft gel spheres so wasn't harsh on the skin like other products that have granules. This wash feels particularly good after a sweaty gym sesh in the morning and as a second step cleanse at night time, and so far has not aggravated my acne prone skin I would recommend this wash for those who have very oily skin and wanting a non abrasive wash scrub however may not be suitable for those with dry skin This wash is mild enough that it can be used daily and you don't need a big amount of product for the whole face

Absolutely amazing! Makes my skin feel incredible and hasn’t hurt my skin in any way! Will be buying again for sure. Super happy with how good my skin has been since incorporating this into my skincare routine along with my other skincare items that I use. I’m super happy with how it’s making my skin look and feel within such a short amount of time. I will be continuing to use this product and buying a few incase it ends up discontinued or anything. I’m super excited to see how much more it transforms my skin in the next few weeks/months.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a great all rounder. My combination skin is looking wonderful since I started this product. Less shine and more wow. It feels moisturised while also feeling sparkling clean. If you have combination skin Buy this product you will not be disappointed. Micro exfoliate with maximum results. I have noticed a huge difference it just weeks.

I found this product to be okay, it exfoliates fairly well and it feels gentle on your skin. My skin felt super soft afterwards and hydrated, not at all dry and begging for moisture like some exfoliants. I have oily skin and struggle with acne, so I didn’t see much of a difference helping with clearing my skin but it certainly didn’t make me break out or make anything worse.. which is always a good thing and rare for me when I swap over to a brand new product. The scent is nice and fresh, not over powering at all. The texture feels good too, not too rough.

As someone with oily but dehydrated skin I really liked this product, I used it after my oil cleansing balm on days when I didn’t want to use my chemical (AHA/BHA) exfoliators and I found that it was a great cleanser/exfoliator combo. It left my skin feeling soft and prepped for my serums without that tight, irritated feeling some physical or scrub exfoliations will give me. I enjoyed using the Nivea purifying wash scrub. The scent is so refreshing and gives the feeling of all day freshness. My skin feels clean and not oily or dry after use. The only thing I would like to see is a bit more exfoliant beads to really help give the deep clean feel. I have been using this daily and have noticed a significant improvement to the moisture and feel of my skin. My family have been using this scrub and my husband was very impressed with this product. He has a Beard and has said how easily it washed out when washing his face. He is quite resilient in using face scrubs due to the left over product. But is very impressed and has continued to use this scrub.

This scrub is amazing!! I definitely enjoyed using the Nivea Purifying Wash Scrub the last couple of weeks. It has a refreshing feeling which removes any dry patches of my face. This winter has been quite harsh for my skin so this definitely helped to remove the uneven layer that was bothering me. The best thing about this is the glow this product reveals. My skin looks healthy and glowing from within almost instantly. The only downside is I did see a couple of breakouts after a couple of days of using this product, but I think it's because I have acne prone skin and it was a new product my face was trying to get used to. If you are looking for an affordable, good quality and effective scrub, I highly recommend this one as it does the job well and feels very fresh on the skin. Anyone can use this too! I got my teenage brother to give this a go and he was very happy with the results too, and he has oily skin, so it goes to show it works for all types of skins too.

Love the simple and no fuss packaging by Nivea for this Purifying Wash Scrub. Lovely packaging color. Love that this product it's Made in Germany which means it's a quality product with a affordable price point. This product it's suitable for oily & combination skin which is just what I need. I love how after using this wash Scrub my skin stay hydrated and cooling and leave my skin feels very refreshing. My oily T-zone stay hydrated without any shine throughout the whole day. I love the watery gel like consistency. It is easy to be used. Just apply gently to wet face by massing it small upward circles and rinse with water. This is an everyday product to use as it is so gentle on my skin and balance my oily & combination skin condition. Have a concern with micro Scrub as I know previously most of the skincare uses micro plastic which is not good for the environment at all but got a big smile on my face when I saw the description it contains naturally derived micro scrubs. I know by using this product it will be good for my skin and also the environment.

I enjoyed using this product as it was a nice change from other scrubs on the market. I’m not a huge fan of facial scrubs as they can be harsh but this one was a lot more gentle on my skin. I also used it on my upper arms with good results. The product had a nice smell that wasn’t too overpowering. The downside was that I did find that it left my skin feeling very dry after using it. It did reduce the account of oil I noticed in my T-Zone but I would need to use for a few more weeks to get a full feel for the product. I think this would be better suited for my skin in summer and not winter to avoid trying it out more.

I work in the middle of WA on a mine site where my skin gets so dirty and oily, I had tried other scrubs to see if they could help me get rid of that gross feeling after work and keep my skin feeling fresh the next day as well. Most products I use give me the fresh feeling but my skin is back to feeling gross come the morning! This Nivea face scrub has changed that for me. I now know that when I clean my face the oily dirty feeling won’t be there after showering or when I wake up in the morning. I have added this in as a daily step in my skin care routine and love how sensitive it is on my skin. I will for sure be purchasing another tube for when I run out of my current one!

Nivea is one of my favourite and trusted brand. NIVEA Purifying Wash Scrub comes in a 150 ml tube packaging and it is formulated for deeply cleansing oily and combination skin without stripping moisture from skin and also control shine. The main ingredients are ocean algae and highly purified water. Overall I did like the product. Its free from microbeads and the naturally derived microscrubs do a good job for me. I have very oily t-zone and rest of face is combination skin and neck has dry skin. I found it works perfect for oily areas and exfoliates well, also minimises whiteheads and blackheads but it is bit drying for other areas of the face. Also the scent of this product is bit overpowering for me. Though its a good product considering the price as well as other factors, I would only use it in summer.

For the price point, this scrub isn't too bad, however, there are definitely better options out there. The good things: didn't break me out, not overly drying, not a 'harsh' scrub so could definitely be used daily. The not so good things: the smell is a bit too 'chemical', my face didn't feel as clean as I'd usually like, didn't lather up very much and was more of a gel that never quite got there. Overall it's something I'd reach for in a pinch or if my favourite was out of stock, but wouldn't go out of my way to purchase.

i was skeptical at first as i normally only use higher end skin care products and my skin is very oily and acne prone. but after a few uses of this product my skin texture has become more even and smooth. i like how it cleans my face without stripping it of moisture and the micro scrubs help to get rid of any dead skin that i have on my face. i would recommend this for others with oily skin but not for dry skin, as it could be a bit too drying if you’re already dry. i always followed this with a facial oil so unsure how it would go if you didn’t use a facial oil. the smell is lovely and fresh, makes me feel like i’m clean. i also used it on my body to help with body acne and it was great and left me smelling nice all day

I enjoyed using this product I will continue to use it and recommend it to others. This purifying wash scrub has a really nice fresh scent that is not overpowering. The texture I find is more that of a face wash than a abrasive scrub so it would suitable for regular use. When I want it to be more exfoliating I use it along with my exfoliating face brush. After rinsing my face I find it to feel super refreshed smooth and clean without feeling striped dry or irritated it actually feels hydrated. I feel like my skin is well balanced after using this product it is neither tight and dry or oily and congested. I trust Nivea I know they make great products for sensitive skin as I already religiously use their facial moisturizers.

After using Nivea Purifying Wash Scrub for a little over a week, it’s a no from me. Unfortunately I felt the need to rinse and repeat washing my face with this product just to achieve my desired level of clean. While the look, feel and scent of the wash/scrub is quite pleasant, my face still felt unclean after use. The micro particles that make up the scrub are few and far between, too small to create an adequate scrub effect. In summary, it feels and smells nice but is unsuitable for my combination skin.

I've got acne-prone, sensitive and oily skin and after incorporating this face wash into my skin regime, i have noticed my skin feels cleaner, smoother and looks less shiny in my T-Zone. As I wear full coverage make-up, the Nivea Purifying Wash Scrub does an amazing job of removing make-up residue leaving your skin feeling squeaky clean. I noticed that my skin felt soft and clean and all the impurities such as blackheads, dirt and makeup has been cleansed away. The fragrance is refreshing and not over-powering at all and is perfect for people with sensitive skin as mine did not react to this product. This face wash contains micro beads that exfoliate my skin without leaving it red or sensitive. I would highly recommend this really affordable drugstore product to people who have oily, acne prone and sensitive skin as it gently exfoliates and cleanses your skin without drying it out or causing redness.

This scrub is quite lovely, its scent not to strong and the texture not very harsh. I use. scrubs 1-2 times a week and I find this scrub refreshing and my skin a lot smoother. I did notice that my cheeks became a little pink after using this. What is also great is that I notice my acne scars reduce and I had some little pimples around the chin due to mask wearing and this scrub reduced it, not fully but mostly. Would I recommend? Yes Any negatives? Only pink cheeks after using it but no irritation or bad breakouts.

I applied the product every 2-3 days in the shower, applying circular motions across my T-zone and then on to my cheeks. I rubbed equally across these areas before rinsing it off, leaving my skin feeling soft, clean and with a vibrant glow. My skin did not feel dry or tight after application which is a sign of a good product. I recommend this product for people looking for a new cleanser and scrub in one, with a look to brightening your skin and leaving it with a fresh shine. Would happily purchase again.
