NIVEA Gentle Exfoliating Scrub

This good old Nivea Gentle Exfoliating Scrub has been my go-to scrub for many years. It’s great for combination skin and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean. I use this on alternative days as the granules are gentle and non-abrasive. It is nicely scented and comes in a gel-like texture and won't leave an oily residue on the skin. Scrubs are perfect for a deep cleanse but sometimes they can be a bit harsh for the skin. Overuse can lead to stripping the skin of it's natural oils and leave it feeling dry and irritated. Not Nivea! Gentle means you can use it on a regular basis without harming the skin. I love it!

I buy this for my teenagers as the proce is right and they can use it in the shower daily. Works great on teenage skin leaving it soft and clean, and after a using for a week or so blemishes diminish.

This scrub is very gentle on the skin. Its great at removing dead skin and is super easy to apply and use. I tried other brands but they were either harsher on the skin or not as effective. This also works on removing minor black heads. If you have heavy black heads it might not work but minor ones are gone in 1 application. I have also been using it to remove make up and gently exfoliate the skin. It is mildly scented and a great addition to my daily routine

I used to use Nivea products when I was younger so I probably would have not purchased it if I would have not received it as part of the trial member. The scrub is definitely a gentle scrub. I used it after my regular cleanser and I dont think the beads were doing anything to be honest. I did however felt like my face was cleaner than it was just using my regular cleanser. So to test it out, I used face wipes after shower to see if it actually had cleaned my face after heavy makeup. I was cleaner than it ususally is so thats a positive sign. I am not quite sure though how much it actually exfoliated my skin. I probably would not be going crazy to recommend it as it had no wow factor to me.

To be completely transparent, I have rated this product 3 stars because I like my exfoliants to be more on the deeper side where as this product is much more gentle. This is a beautiful product and would best be used as a cleanser to remove makeup residue and smoothly exfoliate the skin. Similar to most nivea products, this scrub has a pleasantly sweet scent that isn't too overbearing and lasts slightly after washing it off. With such a great price point, this cleanser is a great addition to add to your skincare regime but if you are expecting a rougher exfoliant then this may not be the right product for you!

I like the packaging of this scrub and the ease of use with the flip lid. It looks lovely on my bathroom bench and I have been using it as part of my morning routine. I have combination/oily skin and found that this scrub was a little too gentle. I didnt find that it 'thoroughly cleans' my skin at all as stated on the bottle, I often find myself reaching for a different cleanser afterwards as my skin still feels greasy. I didnt find that the beads did anything to help. I find the familliar nivea scent of this product lovely and will probably continue use with it as a first cleanser to remove my makeup at night just to use up the rest.

From the first use I really enjoyed using this product! It goes on the skin nicely and the small beads gently exfoliated my face which cleaned it without irritation. I also enjoyed how a little bit of this product goes a long way, it is affordable and long-lasting - what more could you want? Maybe a product that leaves your skin feeling smooth and doesn’t have you waking up the next day with breakouts? Well that’s a tick too. All round this is a great scrub which I would highly recommend to anybody with sensitive skin and who is looking for a bargain. Additionally, the packaging is sturdy and doesn’t leak which is an added bonus.

Nivea Gentle Exfoliating Scrub lives up to its name giving my face a nice gentle scrub thats suitable for using on a regular to use basis. The scrub comes in a easy to use flip top tube that makes it easy to dispense the right amount. It provides a good clean without over drying my skin and my skin felt smoother after using it. A good daily cleanser for normal or combination skin, I wouldn't recommend it for dry or sensitive skin as it could be a bit harsh.

Was excited to try this one, always looking for an affordable option. It smells really lovely and fresh and looked really grainy but was actually super gentle. I feel like maybe it was too gentle and not that effective though. I also found I was quite red in the face after using it which must have been the formula because I couldn't really feel the beads on my skin. I think this would be a great gentle exfoliator for someone who doesn't like too much roughage but maybe not suitable for people sensitive to fragrance

I found this cleanser to be really nice to use. The flip top tube makes it easy to get out, the exfoliating beads were gentle but still did a great job of getting rid of impurities. I enjoyed the gel consistency, I normally choose cream cleansers/exfoliators so it was nice to try something different. All up I found it effective and would recommend to people who don't like harsh exfoliators.

This product was so gentle and lovely to use. There was no overbearing or unpleasant fragrance. The consistency of this was quite thick, but it wasn’t harsh. It made my skin feel so fresh after use, and I loved the simple blue packaging of this. If you want a subtle and gentle exfoliant that won’t break the bank, I recommend giving this a go!

I love a good scrub but I found this Nivea Gentle Exfoliating Scrub a little too gentle. It has a gel like consistency with exfoliating beads and that classic Nivea subtle soapy fragrance. It made my face feel fresh and clean but not smooth and more refined like a proper exfoliant. The packaging is nice and simple - blue coloured and transparent so you can see the product with a flip top that’s easy to use. I would consider this product to be more like a cleanser - it’s pleasant enough to use but didn’t quite give me the results I was expecting. I much prefer a scrub with a finer grit as it is much more effective.

My skin can be sensitive, so I'm always a little hesitant to introduce a new physical exfoliant because I'm not sure how my skin is going to react. I had read good reviews about this scrub however, so I jumped at the chance to trial this product. It has a rather thick consistency, the exfoliating beads aren't big or harsh, and there is no overpowering fragrance, so I was able to use this scrub a couple times a week without any irritation. I notice a slight improvement in the texture of my skin after use, which I attribute to the scrubs efficiency at removing dead skin. For the price, I think this is a nice scrub.

This is a nice scrub if you are looking for something very gentle. It is quite thick and gloopy in texture so you don't need much otherwise you won't be able to get it off of your hands. It doesn't have a heavy fragrance and for the price, it is a good gentle scrub
