NIVEA Daily Essentials Tinted Moisturising Day Cream

I love NIVEA, it's very sustainable to have the best budget brand with  - Daily Essentials.  It really does stand out from other brands because its got a awesome price point hugely responded to me while out shopping, natural, light, compatible with sensitive skin, SPF 15, smoothing texture and it look's fantastic and great on the skin. I'll take another 3 more and still have money left in my purse. YIPPEE!

This is a well priced easily affordable daily wear day cream. I use it as my morning moisturiser and it gives my skin a smooth and dewy even toned finish. It is light coverage which is perfect for when I want a little bit of coverage to hide obvious blemishes and to give my skin a break from heavy foundation. It is non drying on my skin and is easily blendable to keep my face looking fresh and feeling clean. I remove with my cleansing balm or just a make up remover wipe. It is SPF15 and once I apply this day cream, I'm all set for the day. I recommend this day cream for anyone who wants a nice even toned matte finish with their day cream without irritation or redness. Excellent for daily use!

Finding a great tinted moisturiser is a mission of mine. They can be great, a light hydrating product for when you don't want a full face of makeup, however, they can also be cakey and orange if the formula isn't right. I am pleased to say that this isn't either of those things. The formula of this product is creamy and moisturising, perfect for anyone with dry skin. It gives your face a lovely natural tint and glow, great for everyday wear. I would say though, it does have a very pink undertone so would probably not suit anyone with yellow undertoned skin. Application is very smooth, however, one tip is that this does dry very quickly so blending needs to be done immediately or else it becomes very difficult. I have found if I do not blend quickly I end up with patches and streaks on my face.  The lasting power of this tinted moisturiser isn't great, with it only lasting around 3-4 hours before becoming patchy and flakey, half that time if I am in humid conditions. Due to this as well as it leaving me quite shiny  after a couple of hours, I would not recommend this product to anyone with very oily complexions as this may exacerbate that as this is not a mattifying product. There is also a slight smell to the moisturiser as well, I have found that this disappears quickly but it may out some people off. I have sensitive skin and some tinted moisturisers have caused me to break out in the past, with the Nivea one though I had absolutely no issues, so this might be one to try for those who suffer similarly.   I have found that this is a lightweight product, good for everyday wear but it just doesn't have the lasting power I would need. I would definitely recommend trying it to see if it works for you as it is one of the better drugstore tinted moisturisers around at the moment. I will be keeping it for occasional wear, but I will still searching for that perfect tinted moisturiser.

If you need or want a matt foundation, NIVEA Daily Essentials Tinted Moisturising Day Cream is the product for you.   I love using this product in Summer when the humidity is high because my skin doesn’t shine like some brands.  The other bonus being it has SPF 15 sunprotection.   It has broad coverage so I don’t need much concealer.  The texture is so good that I don’trequire a dusting of powder to set my makeup.   Only squeeze a use a little bit out of the tube at a time as alittle bit goes a long way.   One tube lasts me around 12 months.   So it’s economical to use with a low upfront investment ofless than $10

This product lives in my handbag for easy touch ups while I am out and about - NIVEA Daily Essentials Tinted Moisturising Day Cream is my skin salvation; with daily application, it proves beauty products do not have to be expensive to be effective!
