NIVEA Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Scrub

I'm a big fan of Nivea moisturisers, it's been a long standing family favourite (Grandma still swears by it!) so I was looking forward to this product but unfortunately it fell short. Whilst the scent is lovely and fresh (very similar to their other products), I found the consistency of the "scrub" not very "scrub like" at all. It goes on quite heavy and smooth, so I didn't feel any real impact from the microbeads. I do recognise it is meant to be a gentle version so it is probably well suited for damaged or sensitive skin but I didn't get the deep clean feel I was after. It did leave my skin feeling quite nice and smooth but I'll probably stick to my other exfoliating scrub!

I haven't used this kind of exfoliation in years. I switched to chemical exfoliation when swipey's came out. I liked this scrub, its effective and for the price, it would last a long time. You only need a little for it to be effective.

I have dry skin and this makes my face feel nice and smooth every time.  In saying that, it is exactly as it describes itself, very gentle.  If you are after a more deeper feeling clean, then I wouldn't recommend this product, however if you are after something gentle or not as harsh, then this is the one for you.  You don't need to use much which is great and there is a fresh subtle fragrance to it.

I have normal to dry skin and found this exfoliator okay, it left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I was a little disappointed when first tried this as it wasn't very beady so felt it didn't give me a deep scrub however after a few times using this product worked out it works better with a facial brush. This cleanser is great at making my skin look clean and healthy, I don't think id recommend this purely because its not something id keep going back to but if your someone who is just after a light exfoliate this might be the product for you. Pros: - smells nice and a little goes a long way - affordable - isn't tough on the skin so great for dry sensitive skin types Cons: - doesn't feel like a deep clean - bought out blemishes on me 

great product, leaves my skin feeling cleansed and smooth. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry like other face cleansers. Its great to use in the shower as it is such a simple product to use its a product that I love using and will continue to use in future 

I used this once, but I don't think I would again Although it leaves my skin very soft and smooth after use the exfoliating beads are extremely micro that I didn't feel it gave me the deep clean it claims. This was definitely not one of those rough and intense exfoliating washes, but more of a soft and gentle wash.  I would only class as a cleanser for me, not a scrub. It lathers up really well and you only need a small sized amount to cover the entire face. It smells fresh and light, almost soap like. It is a no fuss cleanser that can be used daily.  If you like really clean scented fragrances then you will just love this. I think it is a great product for teenage or sensitive skin types as it doesn't cause any irritation but if you are after a deeper clean then it wouldn't be a suitable product to purchase. I'm slightly disappointed but considering the price it was worth the try. 

I have combination skin and find that it can also be quite dull, especially when dry skin and products build up. I use this around once a week (more if I remember!) to maintain smooth, soft skin and to brighten my complexion. My foundation always goes on well afterwards. It smells good, isn't too drying or rough, and rinses away well with no residue. It's a good price, too. I find the gel to be gentle too, no large beads or bits that are hard to rinse off. TIP - I use the left over gel on the backs of my hands too, to smooth them out.

After seeing your post on Blackheads.. I wanted to add my thoughts. I really really really REALLY love this product. It has a lovely fragrance and it makes my skin feel amazingly clean.  It isn't harsh and It smells fantastic- the aloe really helps with moisturising.  It is cheap and cheerful and perfect for EVERYONE in your household... even my hubby uses it.. #shhhhh

I love this product and keep it in the shower so I can exfoliate my face easily. It's so gentle and helps my complexion. It leaves my skin glowing and blemish free,the price is great too! Overall I just love it!
