Neutrogena® Rapid Wrinkle Repair® regenerating cream

I have been using this as my night moisturiser on my 'off' days for adapalene, sharing it with my husband who is a retinol beginner. I am an experienced retinol user who can tolerate 1% retinol nightly, but my skin still can't handle adapalene 0.1% every night, so I use this on the nights I don't use adapalene. Amongst all the big skincare brands with retinol products, I chose Neutrogena because Johnson & Johnson (the parent company) was the manufacturer of one of the first prescription tretinoin creams and they have done a lot of research into retinoids and maintaining stability. Usually I am sceptical about skincare products with active ingredients in a jar, but Neutrogena claims to have made a formula with superior stability, which allows them to claim that the product as a 24 month period after opening. This formula uses 'Retinol SA' which means sustained action - it enables the retinol to be slowly released over time to give the skin enough time to fully absorb the ingredient while reducing irritation. The jar contains 48g of product, the cream looks thick but spreads nicely, melts on and not greasy. It is rich enough for a night moisturiser for normal to dry skin. There is noticeable fragrance, but it's not overpowering and doesn't irritate my face. My husband who has sensitive skin and is a retinol beginner, has also experienced no irritation from nightly use. As a moisturiser, this is pleasant and keeps our faces moisturised overnight. I've noticed that my husband's facial skin looks less dull and a bit more even-toned. He did not react to the fragrance, but for those who prefer, there is also a fragrance-free version of this cream. I think this is an effective and reasonably-priced retinol product that I would recommend to retinol beginners. Neutrogena also has products in other retinol strengths that one can work up to - there is a 0.3% retinol 'Pro+' night cream that can be the next step, then a 0.5% Pro+ serum.

The moisturiser is very light and glides evenly over my skin, absorbing easily. Even after the first couple of weeks my skin looked and felt more hydrated and definitely firmer. I have mature, normal to dry skin with a couple of areas, such as around my mouth and eyes, where fine lines and wrinkles were becoming noticeable. With continued use of the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair™ Regenerating Cream I have found my skin looks a lot brighter and rejuvenated, my skin tone is more even, the skin texture smoother, and my skin just looks more radiant. The fine lines and wrinkles have definitely softened, and some pigmentation and age spots I had have faded. I highly recommend the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair™ Regenerating Cream to anyone with similar skin to mine because it suits my skin so well and it has become a regular product in my skincare routine.

I use the Rapid Wrinkle Repair with Retinol skin line on the daily and I absolutely love how light yet hydrating the regenerating cream feels on my skin plus... I can honestly say this cream along side the other Neutrogena skin care products in this line really do work at keeping my skin feeling and looking young and anti wrinkle free without leaving my skin feeling oily throughout the day! I would 100% buy this skin care line again and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys feeling great but also to the people who love looking fresh, young and hydrated all day and night long!

I used Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle repair regenerating cream atnight going to bed. My skin is super dry at the moment being winter so I foundthat this cream helped combat this. In regards to fines lines, I feel like theyhave slightly decreased within a couple of weeks, which is really great! I willfor sure buy again!

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair regenerating cream is a soft smooth cream that I used at night.   Over a cold and dry winter my skin has been really dry.  I tried to use this each night and I  about 10 days I felt my skin was noticeably more hydrated and smoother.   For the price of around $50 I think it is very affordable for its results.

I found this cream light weight and non greasy.  It rapidly absorbed into my skin and has a very pleasant fragrance.  My skin felt smoother and hydrated.  Used in conjunction with Neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair retinol oil and together were a great combination which didn’t leave my skin overload but nourished.  One particular dark spot visibly reduced in colour after 1-2 weeks use.

I really like this product.   It goes on smooth,  doesn't have an overpowering fragrance,  and it really works.  It's more aggressive than other creams I have used...I definitely felt some heat after applying and I had some redness and a bit of patchy flaking in the beginning, but I saw results within a week. Will recommend to friends and purchase again.

I wanted to love it but it made my skin break out and become dry. It’s so important to do a test strip first. I could see how it would work for others though. Not the product for me, I need a moisture boost plus anti ageing miracle cream.

This does have a creamy feel, but it's not that effective on deep creases or dark spots.  It does have a slight chemical smell, although not too bad, and does work well as a moisturiser although slightly heavier than what I normally use.  Not sure it has the anti-aging effects claimed, overall. Not clear whether you should use it instead of/in conjunction with their oil.  Fairly expensive for what it is.

I found this regenerating cream rich but still very light to use on my skin, my skin felt very hydrated, I used this everyday as part of my skin routine and found my skin felt great, I  would use this product in the future as part of my usual beauty regime.

Absolutely amazing product, smells beautiful but not strong. I was surprised by how much you didn't have to use, the cream had a wonderful texture and there was immediate hydration. In the morning my skin was so soft and had a nice sheen to it I didn't want to put make up on. For daytime use my dry skin surprisingly stayed hydrated all day. After days of use my wrinkles looked softer and skin seemed more plump. After weeks of use, my skin had a more even texture and pigmentation had improved, I love this product and will continue to use day & night.

The Neutrogena regenerating cream along with the Neutrogena retinol oil, if used both daily, is quite strong and aggressive for my skin. After the first 3-4 days of trialling this product, unfortunately my skin recieved a burning reaction. I stopped using the product for about 5 days to let my skin heal. Then I started using the product again limiting to once every other day. My skin turned dry and flaky also, which for me lasted for about 4-5 days. I don’t  think it did a lot in improving my fine lines & wrinkles though but definitely once the dry/flaky skin phase is over my skin face felt/looked smoother, clearer and hydrated.

Loved this product. It worked and my skin never reacted badly like it does with other retinol products.  I will be buying this when I get to the end of it.  I have recommended it to friends already and have looked at the other items in the range. Well done

I really didn't expect much to happy with this product and my goodness, many of my over 50 brown spots have faded and my skin just loved this. (I have tried other products to fade my age spots and not been as successful) It tingled when I applied sometimes but not worrying so. I now know why people use creams like this and I might keep using this cream, it has been good with the drying winds and heating in Winter.

I've been using the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair regenerating cream, which is a rich, anti-ageing moisturiser. This contains retinol, which is meant to help prevent wrinkles, smoothing the skin while fading dark spots. There is also the inclusion of a glucose complex, which is supposed to help boost the power of the retinol. Hyaluronic acid is included in the cream as well, which helps with plumping out the skin. This comes in a opaque jar with a screw cap, making it easy to access the cream. The product itself is thick, and spreads over the skin easily, sinking into the skin within 5 minutes.I like that this doesn't lead to sticky, tacky skin. Instead, my skin feels softer. I like that my skin works well with this, and that signs of ageing are kept to a minimum. I will caution people who aren't used to retinol to actually ease into this, or your face might react to it. Make sure that you also use sunscreen too!

Patch testing Retinol products is a must for me, as I have autoimmune disorders, and can be very sensitive to sunlight, due to my medications. I was cautious, but given a month long wear test, can report that I am now in love with these products!  I can highly recommend them to menopausal women, or sensitive skin types, who may have responded poorly to retinol based products in the past.

I currently use a few products from the neutrogena line so I was excited to try this new cream.  First off it feels nice when applied and sunk into my skin pretty much straight away.  There wasn't an unpleasant smell either.  It was a bit on the heavy side so I only used it at night.  My skin appeared not greasy and clear in the mornings.  I can't really say Iv seen a huge difference in my skin as yet but it is a nice product to use so far.

Contained in an easy-to-use glass pot, Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair regenerating cream is a beautiful thick moisturiser that provides great hydration. The cream has a gentle fresh fragrance. Using this cream day and night, in combination with the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair retinol oil at night, has left my skin smoother and firmer. The combination did at first make my skin a bit flakey in the first week of use, but this was the exfoliating action of the retinol, which has resulted in smooth skin for me. I have used this cream before and loved it, and its efficacy was enhanced by using the retinol oil at night. The cream also works really well under makeup, which is important for daily use. The quality glass packaging and silver colour, make this a stylish bathroom product. I definitely recommend this cream as a great daily moisturiser.

I used this product night and day for a number of weeks. It was effective and i did notice an improvement in my skin. However, i felt this was too strong to use day and night and ended up using a more natural product at night with oil. While my fine lines did improve i prefer the feeling of a richer more natural moisturizer
