Neutrogena® Deep Clean Purifying Cooling Gel Scrub

This scrub smells fresh and clean and leaves my face feeling soft and supple after I use it. It's the perfect scrub for when I want to clean and freshen my face of all impurities and remove all dirt and grime off my skin. Even though this scrub works well to clean my skin, it is not irritating and doesn't cause any breakouts. It is a cooling gel scrub so it feels nice and refreshing on my skin. I use this scrub on my face and gently massage it in circular motion and then rinse off. After use, my skin feels soft and dewy. I like the fact that this scrub is low priced and affordable, which makes it even more accessible.  Pros: Affordable Nice cooling effect on skin Cleanses skin  Non drying Little is enough Cons: None Recommendation: This is a scrub that can be used by men and women who want a gentle cooling scrub to keep skin looking and feeling healthy. 

Wow! I absolutely loved this product! At first I was a bit sceptical about how the product would actually ‘cool’ my skin but I found it to work instantaneously! Easy to apply, loved the exfoliating properties of the scrub and found it to be extremely refreshing! I would 100% recommend this product!

So having trialled the Deep Clean Purifying Cooling Gel Scrub for about 2 weeks, I can say that I am THRILLED!!  I have combination skin with hormonal/adult acne, which I have been seriously struggling with lately. The polishing beads are super gentle on the skin, and don't disrupt or cause irritation any broken skin, but are large enough to actually help my peculiarly giant pores.  After each use my skin was amazingly hydrated and supple! (and the fact that the beads are enviro-friendly are great for the conscience). But my favourite part is that finally an affordable brand is promoting non-comedogenic ingredients. Overall packaging, dispensing and application is super easy and seamless. I don't think I have a complaint finally! 

I really like this product. I particularly enjoyed how cool and fresh this left my skin feeling. It exfoliated without drying out my skin or leaving it irritated. I have quite sensitive skin and most scrubs like this make my skin feel aggravated but not this one, it's great for sensitive skin.

The scrub was okay, I wasn’t too impressed or disappointed with it. Didn’t feel much difference after using it, it gives you a nice and fresh feeling but I couldn’t feel that my sling was any cleaner or purifying as if I was using another normal face cleanser

This gel scrub was really refreshing - it definitely had a cool effect and my face did feel cleaner and purified after. It smelt nice, and was an effective product. I think this product is more suited to the summer months, when it gets hot - or to use in the morning as a wake up!

I loved the cooling sensation given from this scrub, it has a very pleasant smell and texture. I wasn't sure how it would go with my skin, as it is sensitive and combination but also gets quite dry and flaky in the Winter months, but it was quite beneficial. I use this as a treatment product once per week as to not overdo it. After use, my skin feels very soft, clean and glowing. Would repurchase.

This was a decent face wash which helped to exfoliate my skin. It had a pleasant minty fresh smell and feeling which was nice to use in the morning. My skin didn’t get clogged or have a bad reaction, however I won’t be repurchasing as I would rather use products without micro beads in them.

Love, love this scrub. My skin is borderline senstive, and the Is scrub felt very cooling on my face at first but left my skin feeling soft and smooth. It’s fine beads helped to calm any imperfections and remove dead skin cells to leave a subtle glow. Would recommend to anyone looking to incorporate a gentle, effective and affordable scrub into their routine. 

This is a nice product, which cools the skin and leaves it feeling refreshed! It has a nice smell which smells very minty! Would recommend this product! This face wash cleans the skin bery well and is a great product for cleansing your face after wearing makeup all day long!

Its cooling and refreshing, great for the mornings for a wakeup. I did not notice much difference in my breakouts. I think it was good at striping deadskin and so skin felt soft but no added benefit from the scrub. The beads are quite gentle, but I prefer a more strident scrub to get into pores, mechanical or chemical.  I think this would be suitable for most skin types including sensitive skin, but people who have problems with cleansing pores won't see great benefit.  

I usually prefer slightly more abrasive exfoliants but this one did a decent job. For the average person, it'd probably be a good amount of exfoliation. It's pretty refreshing to use. For my skin type, I didn't really get the results I wanted from it. But I didn't have any problems with the product either so overall I still think it's a decent product for the cost.

This scrub was refreshing when applied on my face. I used it 2-3 times a week as I felt like the scrub was a bit harsh on my skin.  I felt like this scrub didnt clean my pores properly but it did scrub off my dry dead skin on the surface. It did focused more on the cooling effect which is what the name of the bottle says. For this reason I gave it a 3 star.

Another great product in the range! This scrub wasn't to strong or rough which I often find a lot of other scrubs are as I do have sensitive skin but need to have something to help remove my makeup and deep clean my pores. The one thing I loved about these products is that refreshing clean feeling, the minty sent feels like it wakes up your skin and leaves you with a cool tingling freshness

I love this scrub! The smell is so nice and the cooling feeling after washing your face is so refreshing. I always worry about anything that says “cooling” “tingling” or the like, in skin products with my sensitive skin but this did not bother my skin at all and just made me feel clean tingly and refreshed!

I am always a sucker when a product has “deep cleaning” in the label. My skin has stubborn blackheads and just doesn’t play nice sometimes but some deep cleaning products don’t do the job and leave my skin dry. But the cooling effect was outstanding! It left my skin feeling clean and refreashed, I will be adding this to my everyday routine!

I loved this Cooling Gel, which definitely lived up to its name. Best thing to use first thing in the morning after you wake up to give you that day boost and refresh your skin.  The exfoliating beads were smooth on my skin however I did not notice much difference in blemishes or pimples. I used this product once a week especially now as my skin tends to be more drier and irritated in winter. I do alternate with the Purifying Cleaner and Mask to achieve a great skincare regime. 

I liked this scrub! It has a light scent, and is extremely cooling and refreshing on my skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft and glowy. The beads in the scrub are very gentle, however, and I prefer a more coarse scrub to get deep into my pores. For this reason though it can be used more often than most other scrubs on the market, which is definitely a bonus!

This scrub is so great! At first i didnt like the minty smell. & tingling sensation, But now its so refreshing in the mornings & helps wake me up. My skin feels like a baby's bum hehe. Its gentle enough for everyday use but still strong enough to help fight breakouts.  I'll be getting some more, thats for sure!

Loved this! My face is becoming drier because of the cold winter air and this helped ensure that my face isn't flaky. The beads were also really small, allowing me to give my face a gentle scrub massage. I have really red skin and it didn't aggravate it at all, maybe because of the cooling that it had? I do think that this is better as a summer product. The same cooling effect was sometimes too much on cold nights.
